    Very Disappointed

Bought this fridge in March 2015. Since then it has spent a year in storage in between houses. So it has effectively had less than 2 years use. Although it still keeps food cold it is now making so much noise while running it drowns out the TV. The pipes in the back are showing signs of corrosion and we will are looking for a replacement. Definitely not Fisher & Paykel. We have previously had Fisher & Paykel appliances 2 washing machines, 1 dishwasher and 1 previous fridge, all of which lasted over 15 years.

    Hi,
Our fridge is only 18 months old and has just started making a very loud noise when on. The temp in the freezer is stable but in the fridge compartment it is cooling to well below what it usually does. Any ideas??
    Many thanks

I am not a fridge mechanic but..
If by fridge cooling more than usual you mean it is freezing(mostly in the top shelves), it may be set too Cold or something is causing the cold air to leek from the fridge and extra cold air is constantly being pumped into the fridge from the freezer.... which in turn would mean the machine has to work harder and longer

Hi we just moved our fridge ensuring it was upright and we were very careful when moving it and let it sit for a few hours anyway. However when we plugged it in it had no power at all. Yes we have tried another PowerPoint and other appliances work on them. I've never had a problem with this fridge. Help as we have food everywhere and live in a remote location!

It is very difficult to make an accurate diagnosis of the specific cause without the benefit of inspecting your appliance.

If you would like to arrange a technician to attend to your refrigerator, you can call our 24-hour Customer Care Centre on 1300 650 590 and a Customer Representative will assist you with service in your area.

Alternatively, you can search for service in your area by using our online locator at the following link:

If there is a Fisher & Paykel technician in your area, a form will be generated which you can complete to submit a service request using our online booking facility. Otherwise, the locator will provide you with the contact details for the Authorised Service Centre(s) near your area.
