Fisher & Paykel ActiveSmart 519L Bottom Freezer (E522 Standard Series) Questions & Answers

Hi,
I bought this fridge about 3 years ago. I have been very pleased with it ever since.
An alarm would sound to remind you that the door hasn't been properly shut but recently, as soon as you open the top door of the fridge it begins to beep continuously until you touch the active smart button inside the fridge or until you shut the door. This is abnormal. How can I correct this?

Fridge & freezer are sounding 2 beeps on opening
In fridge at back top, there is a red light as well

We keep having ice form behind the back panel of freezer and when this happens the freezer keeps working but the fridge does not stay cool.
We have the freezer set to warmest setting.

Do I have to pull the plug and wait 10 seconds to stop the beeping?

How many watts does it use?

The freezer is working fine but the electronic display in the fridge is constantly flashing along with the temp display for the freezer compartment. I have tried defrosting the fridge, turned it off/on, taken out the plug, etc. but the same issues are playing out. If the doors are left open for either the fridge and or freezer it beeps accordingly. These issues started around 4 weeks ago when the beeping woke us up at all hours sporadically. Any suggestions and or ideas?????

when we are opening the door, there is a beep for one time and the temp indicator is flashing red and green in alternance, It's same flashing even top or bottom compartment has been selected. What problem could you see? Fridge E522BRE Serial# CYG776396 bought August 2012

We have a e522b and the door handle has come off, where can we get a new one and how do we replace it?

Is there a way I can find out what year my fridge was manufactured?

Lights on inner display ( e522 bottom freezer ) randomly lighting on and off all the time. Fridge also not cooling properly. Water dispenser also all lights turn on and off randomly and water does not pour out. Any ideas?

My E522BRE beeps seven times when either the fridge or freezer door is opened. All lights are green inside. What can be done to rectify this problem? Cheers David

slide in deep freeze blocks on left side will not open fully

I have a E522B F&P fridge. It is at least 10 years old. It has started beeping TWICE each time I open the door. Apparently I need to note the # and call for help. Anyone know what this means? It's the weekend.... As well, the green light in the back indicator of the fridge alternates between red and green when i open it and it beeps.

My new model is not listed(RF522BLPW6).
My question is this re the Active Smart sustem:
When I commissioned it yesterday, all the lights were illuminated (and still are) for both the refrigerator and the freezer. Is this how it should be? This setting appears to be the WARMEST setting, given the plus and minus buttons below the lights, but the fridge and freezer are running super cool at present(so I certainly would not want to decrease the light display(making it COLDER). Seem I might have a fault.

Had a fridge delivered today. As instructed we left it to settle for 3 hours before turning the power on. now after 4 hours of power the temps seem ok pc at 5 degrees and fc at -12 degrees but wonder why all LED on panel are red? Ron
