QuickSmart WH7560J2 (7.5kg)

My WH7560J2 was giving the error code 37, checked pump/filter and filter and cleared. Now when turned on, the control panel will not allow the washer selector to move from the cottons wash, and only makes a beeping sound when the selector is turned. Additionally, when a button is pressed, the only thing that happens is three quick beeps, with no change to the selection. Any help?

I d 9int know I always leave door ajar an inch and never had the issue. I noticed it can stay damp if it gets knocked shut

As annoyed said, possible bacteria in between inner and outer drum.
Can also happen if clothes with chemicals ie hair products (from beauty salon towels), vehicle product stains are washed.
These do not easily dissolve in detergent and stick between inner and outer drum.
Is major job to split drum to clean.
Always leave door ajar to allow air circulation when not in use.

Hi, so yesterday my mums washing machine said it needed a drum clean, mum being mum decided shed throw some towels in there whilst it was doing the drum clean so shed kill 2 birds with one stone haha, anyways she said she heard the machine vibrating loudly and quickly stopped the drum clean, then it started flashing on the display all different numbers and beeping etc...so she turned it off at the power point and left it over night..today when switched on the play/pause button is flashing and the keylock button is illuminated and will not go off no matter how long u hold it, the dial when turned creates a beep and no buttons work at all..door still opens.. can someone help me plz? thanks

Drum clean is designed to clean with no clothes.
It heats hotter, fills higher, spins faster - because it's empty.
You'll be lucky if clothes didn't shrink, get grease spots on them etc.
If it cleans dirt and grease off drum, where do you think it's going to end up?
You will need to call an F&P technician to determine what damage has been incurred from misuse of the machine

hi, I'm sorry you've had this error. I haven't received any error messages myself as my machine has been trouble free. There are troubleshooting steps in the manual and if that doesn't work it suggests to contact a service technician. Shouldn't cost anything if still under warranty. All the best and hope you can sort it out.

Considering buying this model but need to know how long the inlet and drainage hoses are? Also if they can be extended if need be.

1 answer
Alexis
Alexis

I did find the drain hose to be about 20-30cm shorter than my old machine. However it did not bother me as I have my machine next to the sink anyway. I would recommend that you have the machine right next to the sink with no more than 30 or so centimetres separation. The drain hose itself comes out the bottom rear of the machine on the right hand side (if you're standing at the front). Therefore placing the machine to the left of the sink gives the hose more reach. Hope this helps.

I thing i overloaded my quick start front loader with dounas. The heavy cycle had 7 minutes to go and stayed on 7mins without spinning. I unloaded the machine. It has now defaulted to cotton setting and won't change or resume cycle..
I press the start button it beeps. I can't get it off the start of cotton cycle.
Is there anything i can do?

ours does this too - won't spin on a delicate cycle, and won't spin on its own full stop. The customer service rep said it is not meant to spin!

Washing machine keeps saying "no tap" and beeping at 22 min during 30 min quick test cycle. The machine is full of water though? I have checked the hoses and they're all connected correctly. Can someone please assist?
The only way I could get rid of the water was by continuously putting it on a spin cycle which drained the water out.

Check the taps have been turned on.
If there is no hot water connection the machine will heat the water itself, but there must be a cold water connection to the cold valve.
Check the hose connections. If the cold water supply is connected to the hot valve and there is no connection to the cold valve the machine will not fill.
Check the inlet hose filters are not blocked, the hoses are not kinked and are attached correctly.
Check that the drain hose is not too low or pushed into the standpipe too far. This will cause the water to siphon out of the machine.
Check the cold water temperature does not exceed the 35°C temperature requirement.
Check the water flow rate. It maybe too low.

Hi - I get this error message for the same machine on every load. The machine was installed by a technician from the retailer so I can't understand why we get this error message when it fills up normally. Also, I can't put the machine on delicates, as it stops at 43 mins and doesn't move beyond this point no matter how many times I re-start the machine when I get this error.
