100% perfect!!
This machine is literally a life saver! Cleans and rinses my clothes absolutely perfect.
It doesn’t wear out any clothes at all, this machine is really quiet and can hardly hear it even at night time.
My favourite feature is how you can set a setting to your favourite meaning you can just turn the machine on and click “ favourites “ then start and it knows what you want.

I LOVE THIS MACHINE
Wow ! I never thought I would enjoy wash day so much as I do now.
This washing machine is a dream and it is so quite you don't know it is on and cleans the clothes really well.
Some times with my old Simpson, I would have to re wash the clothes a second time to get them clean.
I have had this machine for 7 months now and everything is A1.

Great value large washer!
After our old 7.5kg F&P finally died, it was a no-brainer to get another, only bigger to accommodate the family. The new machine is quiet, fast and exceedingly simple to operate. It always gives good results and washes quietly. I love the simple buttons to operate it and the fact that I can use the agitator from my old machine as a spare part is a bonus, although hopefully I'll never need it. Surprisingly light for a large machine, but still feels reasonably well made for the price. It also never seems to go off balance when on spin and I like being able to throw in a couple of extra items mid-wash - something you can't do with a front loader!

Hot straight out of the cylinder onto clothes first
Nice machine but on regular wash the first water onto clothes is hot straight out of the cylinder which I feel is a bit harsh, then after a while, cold. The cold- warm wash is cold, the warm is the same and warm-hot isn't much better, even after setting the warm up as high as it will go it is still below skin temperature. Surely in this age of technology they could make the water mix before hitting the clothes. I think the average person using this machine would be stunned to know straight hot is on the clothes first, they probably just put the washing on and would not know.

Worst washer ever!
Terrible. The worst washing machine ever. It leaves my clothes and sheets terribly creased. I even wash everything on hand wash and it still does it. I washed a cotton summer blanket and the next load was darks and they were literally covered in white lint. I absolutely hate it! It is making my work much harder not easier. I'd rather wash ny hand.

This was our first washing machine we bought with our own savings and will never change!! This wash smart edition is truly helpful and hasn’t given us a unwashed item back since we bought it two years ago! On a rare occurance the machine will tell us to reload the towels if they are too heavy on one side but other than that it’s a perfect machine

Out of balance
Initially quite happy with product and luckily we had taken extended cover as the control panel failed (April 2016) and was replaced under warranty. We purchased through Appliances Online and they were very helpful. This week (Sept 2017) the machine has started to go out of balance. Tried manually rearranging washing and also used Auto setting for rebalance but no good. Rechecked levels with supplied level which confirmed ok. Just left a few light items in machine still no luck, finally took all clothes out and it worked fine...Ha Ha. Still hav...Read more
e a few months of extended warranty so will be onto Customer care tomorrow. One reviewer has suggested that suspension rods may be the culprit..stay tuned. Great for the soul to handwriting clothes before hanging them on the clothes line. 3 October 2017 A great technician from our local appliance repair firm confirmed that the struts were faulty and replaced them today. i asked him what was his opinion of F & P Washing machines and he said he owns one and thinks they are good quality. He thought that perhaps the 10kg ones may put a strain on parts and prefers the 7-8kg model. That being said he had not seen meany issues with them and said wear and tear is something you cannot avoid. He did say that he would recommend buying the extended warranty on all items purchased these days given the computer components can fail. We took out the extra cover and have easily covered the two call outs.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Washes clothes
The machine washes well and does the job. The service from Fisher and Pakel is excellent the machine had 2 parts replaced the agitator cracked and the coating on the inside of lid started to chip within the warranty period. Their service agents attended on 2 occasions without any hassles. Large machine can handle big loads would recommend product to large family.

Out of balance from day one - don't buy!
Our previous Fisher & Paykel washer gave us many years of trouble free use & was handed down still in perfect working order (to this day) to another family as we merely needed a larger machine.
From the very first day the machine rarely finished a cycle without going into error mode "out of balance".
We were fobbed off by the retailer with excuse we are overloading it. When asked how much less than a 10kg wash is acceptable to wash in this 10kg washer they couldn't answer.
We tried half loading the machine to at least get a cycle finis...Read more
hed but to no avail. Despite repeated calls to their technicians we were repeatedly told no known problems with this model... its somehow our fault. The machine has progressively faulted more and more until it now cannot ever finish a load at all.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great machine
I bought mine from Good Guys, washes and rinses well. Its not overly loud or quiet. I love its capacity. It spins really well, and handles heavy washes and delicates easily. it doesn't leave any soap residue. It does seem to take a bit longer to wash than my old machine, but im happy with it.

Has changed my life.
Buying this machine has changed my life. Previously I had a smaller front loader and was spend hours and hours doing washing each week. The loads took forever and I couldn't fit much in. Now I do three loads a week and I am always on top of the washing. Would definitely recommend getting the bigger machine!
As far as quality of washing goes it isn't as good as my old front loader. I am finding the clothes are looking a lot more worn faster. Most of my kids' clothes are from Kmart but in the front loader they still looked good. Now they have ...Read more
gone all bally. If I fill it it also does not clean the clothes as well. The wash speeds are quick though and this is a huge plus for me. Even though the quality of washing may not be as good, I am still really glad I bought this product as it has drastically reduced the amount of time that I do washing each week!Similar opinion? Best machine ever
Quick programs
Washes well.
Got this machine to replace the LG 9.5kg no agitator we had for 7months and what a disaster that machine was.
This machine is so much better and quicker.
Its very quiet
Can't fault it so far.
Very well balanced with hardly any movement.
We only had a 7mm gap each side and it still works well even though they they recommend a 20mm gap each side.
Would definitely recommend.
This is our third Fisher & Paykel over the yearsa

Its not too noisy
After the clothes are washed, some white bluffs are stained on the clothes. You need to manually remove the white bluffs. This is the first time i use Fisher & Paykel. Its running quietly in the background. Clothes meed to be pkaced in circular. The middle must be empty. If i chuck sll the clothes in, the clothes won't be rinsed andd the machine makes this noise to notify u of a problem.

Really good on quick wash
Really good on quick wash with liquid only. Powder will leave residue. Normal cycle will leave a lot of residue and lint. Machine really only works well with liquid. As long as it's not over loaded and liquid detergent only, you'll be happy with results. With delicates, use the softly liquid. Cold water wash works well too as long as it's liquid detergent.

A great machine. Coudn't have asked for better
Purchased this machine from harvey norman warrawong. I use the soak cycle and fuzzy logic feature. Clothes are also dry when the spin cycle ends. The feature is a bit noisy. However, overall I am quite happy with the happy. five stars from me. Customer service is also good and guide you through technical questions.

We have 2 of these machines
We originally bought a 8.5kg machine for our holiday house and were really impressed with it. When our old Hoover packed up after 21 years we decided to buy the 10kg version for home. It easily manages the amount of washing we get in a family of 5. I like the ability to delay the wash and put it on the night so that I can hang the clothes out in the morning before I go to work. Both machines are simple to use and are relatively quiet. I also like the function which tells me how long the wash has remaining. The clothes come out clean and well spun. Having 2 machines speaks volumes for my recommendation.

Good Machine..!!
Very happy with this machine.... To start with it looks good, you can set your wash to what you want...The only downside, I like warm water to wash in, we are on the land, but it puts some hot in to dissolve washing liguid, then cold.... It washes clean and you can spin to the desired result..

Good size
Very economical washing machine so far and has been easy to use and was on a good sale price. Can only hear it when one is near the laundry room and is very quick and efficient. Am quite happy with the purchase so far and did visit quite a few stores before settling on this make and model.
