LINT
One cycle is too long. The clothes also does not come out clean as it comes with a lot of lint. It also tore up some of my clothes. When i do my linens they get stuck in the agitator and thus sometimes do damage. I have to use a laundry bag for all the clothes otherwise they get holes or buttons come off.

Great size
Cleans really well never find any lint or colour fade on my clothes.
10kg is perfect for a family.
If you’re on the shorter side it can be a reach to get all the smaller items from the drum.
I rate 4 stars purely because I find the machine to be a little loud.
Overall really happy with the purchase and the brand.

Fantastic machine
Have had this machine for 3 years now and hasn't missed a beat. Not problems whatsoever and extremely happy with it. Cleans well, doesn't wear on the clothes and extremely quiet. Great capacity for doonas and sheets too. Had a Westinghouse prior to this one as a wedding present and it lasted nearly 25 years. A friend who fixes machines recommended this Fisher & Paykel particularly for its large capacity and we look forward to it also lasting as well as the last. Highly recommended.

Brilliant washing machine, never misses a beat
Cleans clothes perfectly with very little wear on clothes. Machine is not very loud when in operation. Had it for 2 years now with no problems at all. Very easy to use and can judge load level so there is no water wastage. Easy to clean and has many different options for wash load types.

Good in some ways
Its quiet...It spin dries well...washes clothes satisfactory...sheets are another matter, nothing but tangles..goes out of balance even with one sheet in it... machine only lasted aproximately 4 yrs...loss of balance completetly and now shut down with no power...power board blown..cheaper to buy another machine...like every thing these days nothing is built to last its a throwaway society I'm afraid..no pride in any workmanship these days..hard to know what to replace it with...buy cheap and throw away again in a couple of years I think is the only way to go...

Pathetic from word go
Horrible product. Had that many issues with it brand new that they replaced it with another one. Exactly the same problem with the next one. Lid loc issues right from the first wash. Had 2 brand new machines and have not had one full load go through without an error yet in 3 wks. Do not buy! So cranky.

Quality product would recommend
Bought this to replace a Fisher & Paykel 18 year old washer that just died. I'm Very Pleased with the brand, their service and the performance of the washer. Saved a few hundred bucks buying from here. The unit showed up in perfect condition and the customer service was excellent, I would recommend this product to anyone who is in need of a affordable washing machine that just works.

Love it
We brought it after 8 years old NEC machine died.
This unit is quite due to the direct drive moto.
Eazy to use. Wash result is good. No lint filter but do not have any problem with that.
The machine has a lid locker when it start washing, if you open the lead for a while it will drain all water out of machine. Fisher & Paykel claim this is a safe feature can prevent young kit get in the machine if it's full filled with water. But we do not like it.

The 10 kg model is FANTASTIC
This machine is top line. It thinks for you, just drop in the clothes, throw in a liquid capsule. Hit the button, the machine weighs the clothes, and uses the most efficient mode to wash those clothes in the least amount of time, with the least amount of water & electricity, GENIUS!

Reliable
I purchased this product mid last year and can say without a doubt that it has been on me if the best washing machine purchases I have ever made.
The cosmetics of the product are great, it fits well with the interior of my laundry and the way unthreatening machine washes my clothing is unprecedented

Awesome Washer
Such an outstanding washing machine. I’ve only had it for a month but am already head over heels fit it. It holds do many clothes, washes really well and isn’t overly noisy when in use. For a family this machine is absolutely perfect. I upgraded from a front loader which used to spin the life out of every and make my towels tough and crunchy. So glad I own this now...hello soft towels.

Love my new washer
It cleans great, spins on high speed that reduces drying time. My favourite thing is the different setting and turn dile. Easy to use, even my husband and kids could manage without me. I have the top loader that has the element in the middle to put detergent and softner in with ease..

Leaking water & not spinning
We bought this machine from Appliances Online(who are terrific) in January 2014, as it had water saving features & was designed for family loads.
Not being able to interupt a load mid stream, is annoying but we soon got used to that. It is also quite rough on delicates, so they need to be put into a wash bag. You also need to be careful of buckles & straps which may damage the plastic agitator.
However, in the last few weeks it has had quite a few problems & of course is out of warranty. Firstly it started to leak water during the spin cycle...Read more

Love it!
Does a great job washing and fits huge loads at 10kg capacity! It’s fairly quiet and love that I can do a ‘quick load’ in 35 minutes (I bought it to replace a front loader with a minimum washing time of 2 hours!)
Love the delay feature so I can set it to wash during off-peak times.

Pretty Good So Far
We purchased this to replace a front loader (WD1049C 7.5kg LG). Wanted something larger capacity but large front loaders were almost twice the price, so it was time to try a top loader again.
Water usage, yes the number on the front says it uses more water than a front loader, but you can choose a lower water level if doing smaller loads otherwise a full load is probably equivalent to 2 loads in a front loader, so in some ways I don't think the water use will be increased hugely by switching.
You can also save the water to use for more than...Read more

Best washer we have used
We wanted a big, quality top loader washer. This is perfect, you can fit so much into one load, plus is super quiet with several different wash settings. We use it several times and week with different fabrics/type of washing and it can handle anything. We bought it from Harvey Norman with a extended full 6 year warranty. Highly recommenced if you looking for a big quality washer.

Terrible
does not do a great job on cleaning clothes, it is quiet but takes longer to fill with the water than the actual wash time and I have great water pressure and have never had a problem with any other washing machine. I can honestly say it is the worst and most expensive machine I have ever owned. I dislike when you want to add something either to wash or rinse because you don't require the full cycle after pausing it just goes back to beginning, very frustrating, I contacted Fisher & Paykel and was told that's what it meant to do Fortunately only my husband & I at home now so not heaps of washing, it takes forever.

Not impressed at this point.
I purchased this machine yesterday and it was installed today. Because it is my first electronic machine I took the time to read the user manual, yes 1 hour later I thought let's give this a go. I plugged in the surge protector, as recommended by Domanye, plugged in the machine. I then followed the started up instructions and install test cycle. It started ok then stopped and came up with error 'no drn '. Then power to the whole house went out. I rang the help line from booklet and they have no idea why or what that means. So not even 24 hours old I have service call on the machine . Not happy at this point.

Wouldn't use anything else
I love this washing machine. It's so easy to set eveything up for a wash, which is important because I'm not much of a washing guru lol. Love the Eco feature.
Close the door to the laundry and I forget it's even on it's that quiet! Thankfully it reminds me with a beep when it's finished.
My clothes are always perfectly clean. Even really dirty dog towels! I also even put some things that are delicate in because I'm terrible with hand washing. Never had an issue, it hasn't damaged any clothes.
