So I have given up on the front loaders and gone back to a top loader. Only had it for approx a month so still new.
Looks the part, very quiet and sits still nicely. Large bowl is a bonus.
So far the only negative would be it tangles the clothes but to date I have had no damages.
Will update if I encounter any issues but i'm satisfied at the moment.
