Working long days followed by gym didn't allow me time for cooking. 5.4 offered a healthy meal plan to suit my goals. The convenience of having fresh meals is much appreciated.
Yummy + Convenient + Great Results! 10/10
I've been on 5.4 for a few years now and I've stuck with the company for so long because for me, all around, everything's been really fantastic.
- Super convenient
- Food tastes great (have been using a steamer instead of microwave which has worked really well)
- RESULTS: Although I gym 4 days a week, I honestly never got compliments on my abs until after I started on 5.4 - immediately noticed the fat disappearing from around my belly which has been great.
- Customer Service: Always super friendly. Had a few issues with my credit card in the past and the CS team were always super friendly with helping me out.
PS. New meals are awesommmme!

Great product, convenient and tasty
I have a very busy work schedule as a Project Manager and decided to out source my meals to maintain a higher level of food nutrition. 5.4 has me covered, convenient, time saving and excellent customer service. I have had a number of small issues all of which have been dealt with hassle free. Highly recommended.
Healthy but tasteless frozen meals
Wasn't very pleased with the quality of the foods. Definitely great to help with calorie controlled diets however other more refined offerings are available out there. The food is simply bad. Customer service and communication was mediocre. I ended up finding a different service. I think they've got good ideas however they have a long way to go. Marketing wise they're up there with celebrity endorsement but that's obviously not enough. I will try again in a couple of months time.

No fuss and convenient!
I love 5.4's new menu, heaps better then the previous. I keep my freezer stocked with the Active meals for lunch and dinners. When I don't feel like cooking it's so nice to be able to take a meal out of the freezer and heat it up in the microwave and not have to stress about calories etc knowing what I'm eating is good for me. I've been eating the meals for weeks now and have been recommending it to all my friends and family. Thank you 5.4 for making my life easier.
Great for time poor people wanting to stay on top of their portion sizes
I'm a Personal Training and have tried 5.4 meals to find out if they would be a reasonable choice for me to recommend to my clients. I've found they are a great option for people who are trying to stay on top of their portion sizes and are time poor and therefore don't have the opportunity to cook themselves. The meals are nutrionally balance, have a great fresh taste and leave you satisfied due to the high protein content. On top of that they are quickly prepared. An area in which they could improve is recycability of the boxes in which the meals are being delivered.
Extremely poor quality - be wary of fake reviews
Unfortunately this is the sort of company that is great at marketing but not much else. After ordering 5.4 meals for both myself and my Fiance' this week, we were so disappointed in what we received. Meals advertised as "low card" are most definitely not (at least 50g of carbs per meal) and not a vegetable in sight. The quality of the meat and chicken left me with stomach pain for 8 hours.

... Read moree company. The only place that has reviews is this forum, assuming this is because the company has no control over this website. When you look carefully at the ratings on this forum, you'll notice the majority of reviews are either 1 star, or 5 stars. Most definitely not a coincidence. The fact is that the 1 star reviews are from customers and the 5 star reviews are most likely from freelancers who've been paid for their ratings. You will notice most of the 5 star reviews are on June 7th and March 30th. Pretty suspect if you ask me. Either way, I hope people don't make my mistake and only read the reviews carefully after they've ordered as getting a refund is almost impossible. We are currently in discussion with our lawyers as the meals they have advertised are completely misleading however the policy on their website is a no refund policy. Either way, I'm sure our lawyers will deal with it in due course however for those who can't afford solicitors or the time for solicitors, I hope you read this review first and avoid this company all together.

Disgusting lack of customer service.
Lack of action on behalf of company despite telephone conversations & emails. Delivery instructions not followed resulting in food spoilage. No accountability. Floored payment system acknowledged, however, unchanged over time.
Australian consumer watchdog should investigate this company & their practices. Disgraceful.

Exactly what I needed!
I was struggling with training and dieting, and I was hearing awesome things about 5.4. I started using 5.4 and the results have spoken for themselves. I've been training better, sleeping better, and have had way more energy. The meals keep me on track, And taste awesome. I've lost a heap of weight the last month while keeping my muscle. Recommend these meals to anyone that wants to live a healthy lifestyle, lose weight and build muscle, or just wanting to maintain!
Been a member for years
Have been using these meals as lunches only for a few years now. I love cooking but meal prep is a drag so I am on a fortnightly rotation to keep my work lunches healthy and affordable.
The new menu is seriously bananas, so tasty! Plus frozen meals means I can ride to work with them in my bag without fear of spoilage or, worse, leakage.
Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy alternative to meal prep.

5.4 have an excellent selection of high protein meals that are delicious and super convenient! It's made life so much easier to have them delivered and ready to eat at anytime!

Get what you pay for, but what's with the dodgy reviews ?
Food is "ok". There seems to be a lot of reviews, 5 stars on the same day June 7 and March 30. A bit suspect, but not unusual I suppose. Not sure I can trust a company that is so obvious about it. At least do it every few days.
Healthy food that actually tastes good !!!
I have eaten almost every single fitness/health meal in Australia over the last few years and have always hated the taste.
I changed to 5.4 a few months ago and have never looked back as I get the perfect amount of protein, carbs and fats whilst not throwing most of it away because it's horrific.
The new meals arrived a few days ago and I'm in love.
Portion sizes are great but I always want more hahha

I tried these meals a while ago and was a little disappointed to be honest. They were a bit too watery and not alot of flavour but defo gpt me out of sticky situations.
Because my time schedual is so bad at the moment and need to get back in shape for europe summer i have decided to give the 6 week challange a go.
Just got my meals this week and they taste amazing... great improvement defo recommend.
Amazing selection and time saving!!
What an amazing product!! Fantastic option for me as i am time poor. The simplicity of just putting it in microwave at coming back to eat a calorie and nutrional meal is amazing.
Great meals and even a vegan option
five point four are great they have a vegan option which helped me across pick 5.4 over its competitors. I have achieved some great results by sticking to this meal plan and just my regular exercise.

Beats other meal companies hands down
The meals are great. They change regularly and have the right amounts of protein and carbs for. Y needs. I've previously tried other companies and have been left disappointed with the consistency of quality and diversity. This company has made life so much easier for me because they always supply tasty quality food.
The email and phone support is also excellent and fast which is a big plus because Spending hours on the phone or sending multiple emails really contradicts the point of having a time saving, easy to prepare meal.

Convenient & Flavourful
I have lost over 12KGS eating these meals and would recommend them to anyone wanting to loose weight, gain weight and or maintain current weight.
The meals are not boring at all and super easy to fit in with a very busy and demanding work life.

Great food and service
I was pleasantly surprised at how good weight loss food could taste! Really convenient, cheaper than what I usually spend on meals in a week, and giving me everything I need to reach my fitness goals. I'll be a long time customer.
Surprised by how tasty they were!
I love cooking but have found that I don't have enough time everyday to prep and cook every meal, so I've been shopping around for other options. This is the second meal service that I've tried and I'm pleasantly surprised by 5.4. I found the meals tasty and filling. The variety is great too just to keep me interested.

A friend of mine introduced me to this company a few weeks ago and I decided to order 20 meals to see what they're like. For me it wasn't about losing weight but just pure convenience while I'm at work... as well as some variety.
After I ordered them I looked at the reviews on here and saw quite a few negative reviews which had me worried. But I thought I would continue with the order anyway. My family and partner's family are all foodies so my expectations were not super high.

... Read mores tasted pretty good. Slightly bigger meals would be nice but I'm not counting calories. The variety is good and I don't feel like I've just eaten greasy junk food at the end of it. For those who are unsure, I recommend giving it a try once and make your own decision. It's the only way you'll know for sure. If I decided that I wanted to cancel my subscription and accidentally got another 20 meals before they cancelled, it wouldn't be the end of the world. But I don't think I'll be cancelling in the near future. My only other recommendation would be to remove them from the plastic container when you microwave them because microwaved plastic in your food is just plain bad. There must be a better way to package food.
Extra time in a box!
5.4 is an excellent service which helps me save time shopping, cooking and cleaning but still being able to eat healthily. A great idea and I would recommend to anyone needing help getting back into a fitter lifestyle
Amazing, convenient and full of flavour.
I have had 5.4 deliver earlier this year, loved the convenience, flavour and freshness.
I had to cancel due to travel, interstate. I was lucky enough to win a Mother's Day competition and the meals have not let me down, they are delicious, full of flavour, always fresh and tender, convenient and come packed so that they remain frozen until home and able to put them away.
Communication to the team if need is fantastic.

The food is not great
This is the third meal delivery service I have tried and I didn't like the food. It is boring and low quality. My husband and I are used to meal delivery services but we dreaded eating these. There are better meal delivery services on the market.
One of the big problems is that the chicken dishes contain chicken that is not immersed in any sort of sauce, which makes it unsuitable for freezing. As a result, the chicken has a horrible dry texture when you re-heat it. The only exception is their chicken satay because it is frozen in satay sauce

Love the Idea but not the food
I like the idea to get healthy meals to be delivered to my house.
As the objective is to lose weight I didn't expect the meal to be the best one I have ever had - but the meals are way below my expectation - it doesn't look like the one on the pictures and it is full of water.
As I was disappointed by the product I cancel after 2 weeks - I received 2 more deliveries (one few day after my cancellation and the other one 2 weeks after) before they finally cancelled my subscription while they mentioned on their website that we can cancel at any time and that the contract will be cancelled within 2weeks.

Got the vegan one, it was okay. I'm hoping to lose weight but the tofu is really rubbery.. could you use softer tofu maybe? And not extra firm?

Cancelled the meals, but low and behold, they keep charging me and leave rotting food outside my house. Currently, they are refusing a refund for their error.

Was just ok but the service left a bad taste in my mouth
Some of the meals were ok others were rubbery and watery need to get rid of a few out of the menu then they would be better. But what I thought was a good offer wasn't. They texted me and offered me free breakfast for 2 weeks! Very expensive. Cost not reflective of meal quality.
Meals were very bland. Almost 8 bucks for a bit of chicken and some beans is not worth it. Meals come out very watery. Either lower the cost or improve quality please.

Cardboard taste and watery
The staff were terrific in contacting and setting up the delivery. But unfortunately the meals were 1. Nothing like on the picture of the container 2. Very difficult to eat because the texture was rubbery, chewy, watery and very ordinary flavours. In saying that, it wasn't for us but others seem to enjoy. From my experience I would be unlikely to recommend to my family and friends. It is difficult to follow a meal plan if you cannot eat the meals.

No one who still had their senses intact could honestly say the meals are wonderful. I think the Coles brand meals are more tasty. We work with dietitians at work and showed them and they couldn't eat it. Lite & Easy you can eat and enjoy. Simplicity and quality - meals made easy
A great option for fresh frozen, ready made meals delivered to your door. Good variety, great taste, convenient and reliable delivery and friendly service. Added benefit of a simple option to pause or cancel deliveries as required.
Loved the ease of the diet
With the promise of dropping 1-2kg a week I expected the meals to be tiny and bland but they were not too small and quite tasty. I've found their promise accurate which maintains motivation but the thing I enjoyed the most is the time I've been saving not having to do Sunday meal prep.
