7 Years usage
One of my Australian kelpies has used FP for 7 years with great effect and no problems - e crept she can't swim for 2 days after application. My 3 year old kelpie gets a bit itchy for a few days after application, with a bit of a red tummy. I'm thinking I may need to find something different for him. I wonder if they've changed the formula as he used to be ok with FP but I'm still not 100% sure of what is causing the itch

en using FL+ on my 7 1/2 year old kelpie since she was a puppy and with no problems at all. Last Summer my younger kelp I who just turned 3 had a bit of an itch on his belly and I suspected FL+ to be the cause but wasn't sure. I don't use it over the Winter unless we're in the tropics because we don't seem to need it. So I've started using it again and the younger dog is not itching at all so I guess the mild skin irritation from last Summer must have been caused by something environmental. I'm glad because FL+ kills fleas at all life stages and I don't think anything else does that.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Does Not work!!!
Dogs has more fleas after using frontline spot on for dogs. I have used this product for six months, treating my dog monthly and has not had any effect on number of fleas.

Waste of Money
Wish I could give it a zero. It's supposed to last for one month but it doesn't even work on day one. This stuff is a pathetic excuse for flea treatment, and so damn expensive. Very annoyed. Not getting Frontline anymore.

Doesn't work
Doesn't work at all. Purchased mid February 2016. My Australian online supplier said they were getting lots of complaints and offered a full refund. They suspect a manufacturing error.

Absolute Rubbish!
I had always used Sentinel Spectrum on my 2 Shar Pei's but about 6 months ago saw Frontline Plus on special 'buy 6 months, get 6 months free!' So thought why not!? Turns out it would've been more productive to put hair gel on my dogs than Frontline! My Dogs still have fleas, now more so than ever! I've had my yard sprayed, twice. I never ever had a problem until I switched to Frontline. Needless to say I have thrown the last 2 pipettes I the garbage and just purchased some more Sentinel Spectrum!

Don't touch it .
Pathetic, better used as a fire accelerator for an incinerator utter utter utter rubbish. The fleas were using it to scrub under their arm pits.

Thought I'd try frontline plus, not only is it useless but I'm sure it attracts fleas. Going back to my old product.

A Waste Of Money
Frontline Plus is absolutely useless. Treated my Maltese pup and it did nothing. Expensive being around forty dollars for a bit over 2ml of product or if you like twenty thousand dollars a litre. What? This product has been around for years and at that kind of return I reckon the R and D would have been well and truly paid for.
Now they are just gouging the public on the basis that we love our pets.

Waste of my hard earned money
2 dogs 1 cat waste of money that I work hard for and sacrifice other things so my pets are flea free. Now cannot afford at this stage to purchase another product to protect my pets. Tried to contact frontline and left messages with no reply to date, shame on them. How about a refund from frontline.? I used the product 2x for each pet 2 dogs and my cat count the $$$$ in one month, no effect on the fleas, what a money spinner. I will be telling my friends not to purchase this product., and how dismissive frontline is about my complaint.

Disappointed
17.11.15. I purchased Frontline for my Great Danes x 2 plus my sons Mini Dashounds x 2 and it was useless. All dogs had fleas back by the second day. It was a waste of money.

How disappointing.
I wish I could get a refund. Frontline used to be effective but I used it after an early infestation of fleas in September. My moodle, Zeppo was so agitated. Within 2 weeks I gave him a bath with a flea wash which gave him some relief but the fleas were back within a week. Another bath and then October Frontline. A total waste of time, the fleas were back. I have now purchased and used Comfortis and he's free of fleas.

Doesn't work anymore
Used Frontline 2 years ago on Molly, my dobermann, and it did work. Last year Frontline Plus didn't seam to last the full month so I used it every 2 weeks. This season she has had fleas since September. It is not working anymore. I gave her a Capstar tablet on 6th Nov then 9th Nov (a tablet every time I see a flea on her) and have to flea bomb the house tomorrow and vacuum every day till the eggs are gone as my whole house is infested. Very expensive and my poor dog can't settle. I am going to try a natural method now and have ordered Fleeze supplement and Neem pet spray. It can't be any worse than Frontline Plus. Touch wood... Wish I could give no stars.

Good Experience Overall
After reading almost dozens of user reviews, I finally chose Frontline Plus for my dogs flea treatment. I was skeptical about it a lot but it went well for first 18-20 days. However, in last 10 days, my dogs began to catch fleas. Now as it has clearly stated, I can't use it again before 30 days so I contacted my vet and he suggested me to not apply Frontline Plus for few more days and use home remedies instead. I started using home remedies, however, it was also not much efficient. Thanks to budgetpetcare I was able to use Frontline Plus on my...Read more
dog. Now it looks like my backyard is the reason but anyway, Frontline Plus worked well. Not too good I would say, but my dogs were happy with it. The best thing is that it didn't need to be ingested so I could use it topically which was ideal for me.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Questions & Answers
Alby Deeasked
Dear Frontline, Can I please get a refund? My local pet shop recommended this and it's day 5-6 after application of Frontline Plus for small dogs. He's 6kg and I got the one up to 10kg and no change to fleas. I flea-combed 5 off him tonight alone! I read above that fleas are now largely immune to your product. I just got bitten as I'm typing this. After reading all these reviews I will do the obvious and seek veterinarian's advice next time and not a person spruiking targeted products presumably with the most profit margin in a pet shop

Try a teaspoon of Apple cider vinegar & water in a spray bottle & spray it on once a month then brush their coat & watch the fleas fall to ground. Kills fleas & tick as soon as its sprayed on. i have been using it on my blue heeler for the past 18 months & no sign of fleas or ticks
Thanks I will try this but back to my question. Here's the ANSWER TO HOW TO GET A REFUND FOR THIS SUBSTANDARD PRODUCT - for people with the same question as me I will now help you from what I have learnt. I have received a refund. How? I went back to the pet supply company who sold me the product. I told them it does not work and that this is from my experience and all of the negative reviews online. They fobbed me off onto the distributor of Frontline Plus. I then rang the Frontline Plus distributor who originally said that they would not give me a refund. My response was that I would give the pet shop I bought the Frontline Plus from one star on product review and would put in my review that their service was friendly but that they recommended and sold me a lemon of a product, that is, Frontline Plus. (see my review I will later post about it having no effect whatsoever on the fleas on my dog). After 3 days the distributor sent me a letter to say that they do not accept responsibility (that their product does not work etc) but that they would do me a refund. (If you only approach the pet shop you will probably have no luck. If you only speak to the distributor you will probably have no luck) - but if you discuss that you will post a review about the Frontline Plus supplier selling a substandard / ineffective product you are likely to get a refund like I did. This product does not work - if you read the reviews even vets questioned do not believe it works.

What is the best flea and tick control medicine for dogs?

Frontline Plus worked great for about 5 years with both of our dogs..... but something happened.... maybe the fleas became immune to it? Excellent product to start with.
