The watch is okay but still on the fence

published

Previous to this watch I had the Garmin Vivoactive HR. It was promoted as 5 ATM, meaning that it should have been fine going swimming or snorkelling in shallow waters. But disappointingly it died on a swim and Garmin will only offer a replacement for a reduced price, as it was outside the warranty period. I was reluctant to get another Garmin but it is one of the small number of brands which connects to certain apps like strava. It doesn't have touchscreen like the vivoactive HR but setting the alarm or changing the layout of the screen are easy to work out.

Rugged watch

published

Had a Vivoactive HR prior to this and was very disappointed.
This on the other hand is a major step up. I work outdoors and this watch has taken all sorts of hits and there's not even a scratch on it. It's one tough watch.
Many functions to get used to with an excellent battery life.

Purchased in December 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for $350.00.

Fantastic Watch

published

Purchased early this year after my Vivo smart decided to break on me, the watch has some great features on it that the Vivo didn't, haven't had the chance to really go through the whole settings but I am very impressed with it so far.
Has great functions and easy to use, lots of activity options to use.
Battery life is very good and last a lot longer than previous watch can last up to 5 days easily without a charge, but that is all dependent on how much the activities are used.

Would definitely recommend this watch and if this ever did break down on me I would go out and purchase another.

Purchased at Rebel Sport.

Super Smart Watch

published

The Garmin Instinct smart watch is fantastic. It has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and comes with 16MB memory. It records steps, heart rate, has a GPS, barometric altimeter, compass, key lock, elevation profiles, storm alerts and heaps more.
It has a rugged look and is lightweight. It's not designed with anything exceptional or unique; it is a plain-looking smartwatch that comes without a touchscreen. The rubber strap is snug and fits nicely on your wrist.
A fantastic watch that I love that lasts for days using it as a watch and quickly charges when needed.
