Went to start my new Gi2000 generator and didn't even sound like it wanted to start, all it wanted to do was petrol out of the fuel hose 1. After losing about half a litre of fuel, I tightened up the screw on fuel hose 1 which immediately stopped the fuel leaking out and the generator started 1st. go. Have I done the right thing by tightening this screw? There is no mention of any of this in the manual.

Cant fault it! Value for money.

We have been using a Genquip gi2000 2kva generator on a regular basis whilst we travel OZ. We cant fault it! infact we are more than impressed by its economy and low-noise level. We power up sensitive equipment like power management systems, laptops and digital satelite receivers without any issues.

Our genny gets a pretty decent workout too and they only require minimal maintenance. We also use the Genquips ecoboxx solar & power inverter system. What can i say- their products are faultless! and their service and product support is A1. Highly recommended!
Fuel economy, reliability, low-noise level, great service from Genquip
