With the awful reviews, were you successful in getting your money refunded? I'm in a similar position, having only just returned the unit for a "repair", but I'm really having second thoughts now.

No David I did not persue a refund as sometime you just know not to waste your time, I just put it down to experience and have a Honda happily doing the job now. If you purchased it through Pay Pal they can help you get your money back.
Gave up in the end, had a local repairer look at it and it was going to cost $500.00 to repair. Not going to throw good money after bad. It's in the shed gathering dust.
