Exactly what you need

published

If you're looking for a blender that's easy to use, blends well and convenient, the Mix n Go is perfect.
I use this for my morning shakes of a variety of fruits, oats, water/soy milk and sometimes veggies and it blends perfectly.
The longer you leave it, the better it blends, along with the amount of liquid you put in there.
Convenient because you just have to swap the blades out for the lid and you can take it on the run.

No issues since I've had it. A bit lout, but i'm sure you can endure 20 seconds of noise to wake you up in the morning.

Awesome equipment, value for money

published

My first mix and go device and for the how much it cost I couldn't fault it one bit. Easy to use and clean, blends up ice quickly. Have a daily chat with this bad boy every morning for my quick breakfast smoothie fix. Also been using it to make my afternoon ice coffee to enjoy in summer.

Great for the price

published

Does the basics well, Wouldn't use it for ice.
Blends frozen bananas with berries and protein powder. That's what I bought it for.
The Chill sticks are small and will only maintain the "cold" for an hour or so.
Paid $30

Good quality but fundamentally the same product as competitors

published

This machine is reliable and blends very well. I use it each morning with frozen fruits, and it has no trouble cutting through these. Very rarely does something fail to blend - sometimes with very dry ingredients or partially blends but fails to mix half of the contents. However, I suspect the product is the same as many other 'blend and go' style blenders/smoothie makers as I also have the KMart variant, which is suspiciously similar, just with a George Foreman sticker on the bottle. Nevertheless, still recommended for routine use!

Mix n go

A great everyday blender that doesn’t take up too much room in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this product to all those gym junkies wanted a quick juice or blend of drink and coffee.

Good, but not the best.

published

I wasn’t overly satisfied with the ability of the machine to be able to blend the ingredients for my smoothies. It always came out chunky and with large bits floating throughout the drink no matter how many times I would shake the mixture and re-blend.
The cups that you get to blend the drinks in are also very difficult to clean.
For a cheap blender I would say it’s okay, but if you drink smoothies often I would recommend spending a bit more money on something that is of a better quality.

Really good blender, can’t live without it.

published

I used to buy smoothies in Boost everyday, which cost me around $7.5, after I got this blender, I can make my own smoothie with only 1 dollars, and the blender itself is cheap. Also, it’s easy to clean, just flush with water.

I loved it!

published

The machine has really good blending qualities. I often use it for blending frozen fruits in my smoothie and it does an amazing job! The smoothie is real nice and fine. Also super convenient as the blender is detachable so you Ann make the smoothie and take it with you wherever you go! Definitely recommend!

Excellent value with results

published

As my first and only blender, this unit serves its purpose well and is of great value. I usually mix fruits, alcohol and ice cubes and it has no problems blending them together. Whilst the mount has a lock-in mechanism which secures the container during the blending process, I found it easier to just physically hold down the container whilst blending. Like other have mentioned here, there may be a metallic smell when blending; this doesn't affect the taste of the end product nor have I noticed any deterioration of the device. I'll recommend cleaning both the blender/containers ASAP as they tend to stain quite easily if your mixture is held for a long period time, or better yet, pour the contents into a different container.

Perfect for summer smoothies

published

Pros:
- Quick to whip out and use, easy to clean
- Great value for the price
- Great for frozen fruit smoothies

Cons:
- Not the most user-friendly lid, makes a mess when trying to drink a chunky smoothie.
- Not the best with blitzing ice blocks (always hesitant it will start smoking/explode given the loud noise).
- You won't get a super smooth/silky texture to your juices, it just breaks it down into tiny pieces.

Cheap but works

published

This blender is fine for its purpose. Its cheap so you cant expect to much from it. My girlfriend and I use it just to make protein shakes and smoothies. It even is able to blend big ice cubes though can get that metal smell when you test it with these. Can be loud also but if you plan just to make protein shakes and smoothies and want something cheap then this is fine.

Good value for money

published

Totally love this blender. I have owned it for more than a year. I use it for making smoothies every morning and it is still going strong now. I also like the idea of having a chill stick which keeps my smoothies cold when I bring it out. The only thing I would complain is that it is a bit loud to use. I would recommend buying this

Better than my Nutribullet!

published

I've had my Mix & Go for a few years now and I always use it every summer. It's nice and simple to use, easy to clean and not as bulky as my NutriBullet which often just sits at the back of my kitchen cupboard. Very good value for what this blender costs. The only downside is the capacity is quite small - really just good for 1 smoothie at a time, not for huge quantities.

Nice for a quick smoothie

published

At first, the machine is very nice and we use it to make a lot of smoothies. However, it is just very hard to clean. The gaps in the blender also, the design of the bottle is quite hard to clean. Also, the bottle leaks sometimes, which is hard for us to carry around.

Good blender, does the job

published

The blender is easy to use and does the job well, after a bit of shaking every now and then (for an even mix). The bottles are a little difficult to clean but are perfect for on the go drinks. I use it for drinking water too!
