Benny Hasked

Hi,

Just recently bought a 2020 Black series Dominator and just over the weekend took it out for the long weekend for the very first time. Since purchase it has been in the garage and always plugged straight into 240v mains to trickle charge the battery. Whilst camping I used the inverter and watched a bit of tv and watched movies and some games. The charge level got down to 70% so we got out the generator and popped it on to charge it back up again. However it never got any higher than 85% on the instrument panel read out even with the inverter turn off and nothing else on except the fridge.

Now I’m home and go to plug the charger back onto 240v and it seems nothing is happening. No light comes on the charger at all. Makes no noise like it did when I first got it home and charged it. Usually if fully charger the LED with be green am I right?
Also I read on here that there is a “selector switch” or breaker to switch between mains and solar? Where is that? Also do the breaker switches need to be engaged for the charger to work? Bit confused. Why would the charger work before we left to camp and now it doesn’t seem to want to work? Answers or help is very much appreciated as it’s got me beat.

Benny.

Hi I just purchased a second hand Patron and wanted to know the best way to charge the batteries? Is there an inlet for 240v?

Hi Dan

The best way to charge the battery will be with at least a 10amp smart charger.
