I was in the market for a new Vacuum and I decided on a Miele, next morning I had an email which was forwarded by a girlfriend which was a Godfreys sale catalogue and on the first page there was a Hoover Paws & Claws vacuum advertised for $99 with free delivery so I took that as an omen and went online and bought it, it was delivered the next day (I'm in the Country) and it is the best Vacuum i've ever had, I love it, it's that powerful it picks up everything with ease. Great prompt service and great product, Thank you!

GODFREYS HEAD OFFICE
I just called Godfrey's H/O on 1800 815 270 and spoke with "MEZ" trying to get replacement parts for my broken Electrolux vacuum cleaner that is still under warranty.
Not only did "Mez" speak constantly over the top of me, she then refused to respond when I asked for her name.
When "Mez" was not speaking over me, I told her I could not deal with her poor attitude and I requested to speak with a supervisor, as I felt I was getting nowhere with her.

Electrolux Silent Performer Green Bagged
Brought this vacuum online Electrolux Silent Performer Green Bagged. Have spent previously $$$$ on there too range vacuums with power heads, haven’t lasted 12 months and replaced . This is exactly what I wanted, has everything, without the fancy price tag, little ripper in vacuuming. Light weight, which is a bonus, easy to manoeuvre. Looks good. Happy with my purchase, would highly recommend this vacuum without the high price tag .,Godfrey’s good online store .

So easy
I used Godfrey online to look up which was the best stick vaccum cleaner for all my needs and it came up with a good one called Ultra light, work so well, it was delivered with in a few days free of cost. A great product easy to put together too.

Poor customer service
Ordered Hoover vacuum. Died after 1 month. They said I have to take it to nearest store. Dont have car. They need to move customer service out of the 70s and provide replacement delivery and defective item removal free of charge if under warranty. Like AOL.

Poor customer experience
Placed an order online on 20/4 for a vacuum cleaner after going to the Bondi Junction store and advised that the item was sold out. On 29/4 I rang for an update. I was told the item was out of stock and stock was arriving that date. Godfrey's agreed that an email would be sent confirming when the item would be dispatched. I rang back on 1/5 as goods haven't arrived and no email. I was told that the goods had been sent yet there was no tracking number and the operator would contact the warehouse for details and email me with an update. As there ...Read more
was no response I called again 3/5 to be told there was no tracker number and they could re order the item. As I had no faith in the process I suggested the order be cancelled which was accepted. The operator stated my funds would be return on 3/5. Overall experience very poor I can't rate Godfrey's on anything other than taking my money. How they can accept an order without having the goods is wrong and should be illegal. The next interesting point will be the return of my funds I can only assume I will need to make several calls or report them to Fair Trading.1 comment

Pet Vacuum
The vacuum designed for pet hair is UNREAL! we have two dogs who shed like crazy (it literally looks like our carpets were snowed on that's how much hair sheds). It has cut my vacuuming time in half. The carpets are the cleanest they have been in very long time. Very impressed. The shipping service (Star Track) was a massive pain but the vacuum is brilliant.

Poor Delivery
I placed an online order on the 26 December 2018 10:26:21 PM. Its been two weeks so I called them to find out what happened to it and I found out that Star-trek told Godfreys they had tried to deliver it 3 times unsuccessfully because nobody was home and my order has been sitting in the ware house doing nothing for the past week. I checked the dates and I know I was home every single time so Star-trek lied about trying to deliver it. I was told my order would have eventually returned to Godfreys and all Godfreys would do is wait for the costume...Read more
r to contact them. Their costumer service stops as soon as they get paid. Its up to the customer to make sure they get their order. If you make an online order, organise to pick it up from the store as it MIGHT be quicker. Personally, I'll be shopping elsewhere.1 comment

Re delivery and customer service
Ordered vacuum last Nov 5 and until today I haven't received it. Took so much time to call the customer service and courier to chase it up. And they still cannot deliver the item until today. I'm waiting for almost two weeks now. No apology was made by the customer rep/courier about the delay and hassle that this gave me. I had so many deliveries from other company like good guys and freedom. But nothing like this. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! And now they are asking me to fill up a form just to cancel the order. Too much work its TERRIBLE!
And of course no email was received today from Godfreys . What do I expect.

Great inexpensive carpet shampooer. Did a better job than the professional carpet cleaners!!!
This is very effective inexpensive way to clean ones carpets. At 300 bucks it will have paid for itself after I use it twice. It would have been fantastic if there had been a sample bottle of carpet shampoo packaged with it!!! I had professional carpet cleaners come in after my little dog went to heaven. She had peed throughout and stained the 2 year old carpet. The professionals did not get the stains or smell out. I got them out with one clean using this machine and quality carpet shampoo..
