Don't Buy - Poor Quality Poor Customer Support - Stopped working after 13 months
Goldair Pedestal Fan was working fine for occasional use until it stopped working after 13months - just outside of the 12 month manufacturers warranty. Contacted Harvey Norman and Goldair and they refused to fix or replace.
Brand and product is really poor quality and won't last. Recommend buying something a bit more expensive from a better brand that will actually last a few years. It's not cheap if you have to buy another one!
Positives:
Timer was a great feature
Quiet fan at the start but was getting loud before it died
Didn't try the remote function but need to buy batteries separately
Easy to clean
Love it!
This fan is super quite and powerful, but the best part is that it has a remote. Moving 1.5 metres to change fan settings when you're half asleep is quite a distance! One thing that could be changed are the red light indicators which seem quite bright in the dark - green would be more pleasant, and it has quite a big footprint.
Another thing I would like to mention is the service from Goldair. I lost the remote and contacted them via email. With 2 days they had posted me a new one free of charge. Excellent customer service.

Great quiet Fan
Excellent pedestal fan. Very quiet. Have TV in background and does not make to much noise affecting TV sound. Have not used in bedroom so unsure about noise at night while in bed but think it would be ok . Great purchase for warm summer nights Purchased from Harvey Norman
