Best phone I've ever had.
Love love love this phone!!!! Runs smoothly, easy to navigate, easy to lock and unlock. The camera is fantastic with excellent quality. After having the first Google pixel XL and then this one I would seriously never buy another brand again. Google have gone to new lengths to improve on the Android.

Never buy it if you are in Australia
This phone has issue of earpiece because i replace it 2 times but still it has. I am trying to complain it on consumer affairs and tio but they are not accepting so please if you are in Australia do not buy it. Google dont have value of customer. Please avoid to purchase.

Best phone ever!
This is by far the best phone I have ever had. I've used multiple iPhones and Samsung Galaxy's, but nothing comes close to this phone.
It is quick, the camera is amazing, and generally works perfectly.
The only issue I had was the 3.5mm adapter broke on both of our phones (we got 2), but Google sent a replacement without question - excellent customer service.

Cannot live without!
Camera is AMAZING! I can zoom in so much and the quality is everything!
I've owned for 6 months now and it hasn't froze once, and haven't had a problem at all!
I would definitely recommend the Google pixel 2 XL to someone who appreciate a phone doing what you want it to do and when you want it!

Pixel 2 means business
Seriously, multitasks better than any (i)phone I've used. Took a while for me to get used to its size but worth it if you're a graphics junkie like myself. Also you can adjust pretty much any of its functions to suit you. Insanely powerful camera but note that your pores are no exception to its ability to pick up finer details.

Excellent
Simple to use and intuitive with heaps of features all customizable thanks to Android OS. Camera takes unbelievable pictures. Super long battery life with rapid charging feature. Snappy and responsive even when multiple app and windows running. Connectivity with everything Google (Google drive, Maps etc) puts your whole life in the palm of your hand

Good phone, support makes it great
I got my phone a few months ago on a Telstra contract. Overall I am relatively happy with the phone. There are some early warning signs such as the phone sometimes getting a bit laggy. All in all I wouldn't have purchased the phone had I known it was LG. It still has a good camera and the service is good even though it is offshored. I like being able to call someone for support. This is why I will give it four stars as it's hard to find online solutions to every problem

Love it to bits.
Massive screen, variety of features, just love it, unlimited photo storage which is heaven! Would for sure recommend getting one of these phones, the camera is also impeccable and the portrait mode is almost worth buying the camera for. Although the cost is quite high I haven't had any complaints so far.

Great device, and awesome camera!
Very good camera and nice design. I like the stereo speakers that are forward facing, gives great sounds when watching videos on the phone. My particular screen does have the blue tint when tilted, which is very common with these phones. Wish Google could fix this ... Otherwise great phone!

Nice camera horrible android auto
It is a "known problem" that no other phone seems to be having. I purchased Google's phone because I thought it would integrate with everything perfectly.
Android auto is completely useless. It gives no indication of the system freezing. The screen just no longer responds but still remains on its previous screen. So if, say, you're using it to navigate somewhere, and you're on a long highway waiting for your turn, you will never get the notification.
Camera is nice, but if you pause a video you cannot screenshot as there is a big symbol in the centre.
If I had my time (and money) again, I'd get a Samsung S9

Exciting Phone
I love my Google. Works seamlessly with all my Bluetooth items. Is fast, doesn't glitch and Google assistant is so good. Was an Apple fanboy but Siri cannot compete with the Google assistant. Love that you can squeeze to activate and it all works very well. The only issue I have is that the charging is not super fast, it's not asslow as Apple charging but nowhere near as fast as Oppo RS7+ and it charged within 20 min. The other thing I miss is the touch screen gestures on Oppo. Screenshots and volume we're awesome on Oppo as you would three fingerswipe up or down or whatever you chose. Miss that but the camera is AMAZEBALLS. Love everything else.

Good phone but pretty expensive
I got this phone from Telstra when they're doing a special promo. The phone comes with the latest Android system which is fantastic. Camera is also greatly improved over the previous models. However, as a lot of people have pointed out, the blue tint issue still persists when you look at the screen from an angle. And the price tag is way too much for a Google flagship phone honestly. I wouldn't pay the full retail price for a standalone phone.

I love this phone
I have had this phone since November and prior to that I had the first Google pixel. This phone is fast, the camera is exceptional, it's easy to use and water resistant which is great for my clumsy self. The only downfall is the lack of headphone jack. I'd prefer if it had one.

Fantastic Phone
Fantastic phone. Best phone I have ever owned, fast, fantastic screen, awesome storage for phone and using online storage and great battery life. The camera is upgraded from the previous years model too and is probably the best part of the phone. Is also great for the latest media and gaming available to handheld devices

Amazing !!
I got it on a swap lease plan from Telstra. Amazingly fast device. The best of the best from Google. Great camera and unlimited Google Photos storage is the best feature of the phone. Can't imagine living without it. Finger print unlocking feature works like a charm without any issue all the time.

Best Android Phone (almost)
If youre looking for the top of the line android smartphone the Pixel 2 XL is the one to get. Boasting excellent hardware AND software specs with the latest ongoing android software updates you will love using this phone - especially the camera! Quite big for average hands so test it out in store. Also the screen is not as nice as the galaxy s8 phones but is decent. Also quite pricey but if thats no issue, its worth the money

Great phone
I read such mixed reviews before getting this phone - but it's been a dream. I had a Note 4 previously, but using stock Android for the first time has made me realize what I was missing out on. The Pixel 2 XL is a dream. The squeeze feature felt a bit gimmicky to begin with, but now I couldn't imagine not having it. The finger print scanner placement if perfect too. Only downside is no headphone port, but I'm getting used to it.

Great for an Android phone!
Haven't had any of the issues that others have had with the screen. The camera quality is great, the sound is OK but not perfect. Only faults I've had have mainly been with the software and some apps which have had constant bugs. If you're looking for an Android phone, I definitely recommend this one.
