This is perfect! Can't live without it!

published

This is the best phone I have ever purchased in my life! Very powerful and the fact that it is "open" makes it very easy to use and transfer files between phone and a computer. Also it has the best camera ever. The blue tint on display is not obvious.

Excellent but not without it's flaws

published

The good: Lightning fast and comes with the best possible camera inside a smartphone. Guaranteed to get 3 years of updates, which is much more than any other Android device.

The bad: Feature light compared to it's competitors (Galaxy S/Note line and iPhone) and a display that's really lacking compared to the aforementioned devices.

Best phone I've ever owned!

published

Whilst it took a few days to get use to the 6inch size & I had to adjust how I handle the phone when texting etc, its so worth it! The screen is beautiful (yes it has a slight blue tinge when the phone is tilted but I barely notice it now) & it's so fast! Hasn't skipped a beat & I give it quite a work out every day. The pure android experience is everything I had hoped it would be. And as for the fast charge capability, 100% in 15 mins is mind blowing!
If you are procrastinating over this, stop right now & just go for it. You won't regret it!

Everything I wanted out of this phone

published

If you are looking for a great stock Android experience this is where to go,
great camera and integrated well with everything that Google does which is great because all of their services available are an almost top tier.
The only issues I have had are it can heat a bit while fast charging, however, it charges so quickly that it hasn't been a problem.

Best Android Flagship

published

Although it might be considered a pricy phone, you are paying a premium for a reason. The phone is very quick and receives updates regularly. The camera is a highlight and is one of the best cameras to date on a smartphone. There are known issues on the pixel 2 regarding display however, it is not a deal breaker at all and should not stop someone from purchasing the device.

The best phone in 2017

published

No doubt it is expensive, but I think it certainly worth the money.
Photo quality is the best out of all the phones available in the market as of today.
I don't carry my DSLR that often now because the photos it take are absolutely stunning, especially with HDR enabled.

Best camera phone in the business

published

Here are the top reasons why you need to buy this phone:
- Pure Android with no over the top skins like Samsung's Touchwiz that add some extra features at the cost of buttery smooth performance.
- Monthly updates which I never thought were a big deal (being a long term Samsung user) but after getting this phone and seeing what can be turned on after a software update, I don't think I can go back.
- The Visual Core AI chip to take better photos that got turned on after the November software update which improved the camera (if it was even possible) and will keep improving it as it learns more.
- That camera! Can't say much more, you need to just see it in action to believe it. Pro tip: try out the panorama mode.

Best phone I've ever owned

published

Buttery smooth performance, phenomenal camera. The screen is huge and the bezels fade away. The finger print sensor on the back is perfectly placed for quick unlocking. The speakers are loud and clear. Knowing that photos can be backed up to Google Photos in their highest quality provides a lot of peace of mind. The only draw back is the lack of head phone jack, requiring use of either the included USB-C -> 3.5mm or a set of separately purchased Bluetooth headphones.

Best phone I've had, great software, hardware lacking.

published

With this phone, what you're getting is an absolutely smooth and quick phone that does not slow down with time and does not come with unwanted bloatware and crapware. It's hardware execution could be a little better, I had speaker distortion with loud buzzing sounds from the top front speakers twice and had to return it twice. yes, there might be fancier bling hardware like the s8 and iphone X, and yes this is absurdly expensive, but once you get past those two facts, this is a stunning phone.

The best phone I have ever had

The Google pixel phone in incredible !!! The photos are out of this world amazing. You do pay a lot for it, but certainly worth the money. The XL screen is great. I'll never go back to a small screen again. I changed from HTC over to this phone and wow!!! Worth it.

Everything I have ever wanted in a phone

published

I have had multiple other Android phones and even the occasional iPhone, but this is by far the best phone I have ever owned. The camera alone is worth the money. Being a photographer, the camera had to be perfect. And it is.
Some say the size of the phone is too big, but I have big hands. I pick up my wife's Pixel 2 and it just feels small now.
You can watch videos in stereo with the 2 large front-facing speakers.
I still miss the Headphone Jack every now and then. I don't need Bluetooth headphones.
The battery will last all day even if I am using it all day long.

Great phone if you love stock Android

published

This phone has everything an android lover would want. No bloat wear, awesome camera, snappy performance...definitely worth considering if you are in the market for a new phone. The screen looks awesome when watching videos and the portrait mode takes awesome pictures. The USB-C fast charge is a great feature. I would recommend this to anyone that asks.

Love the Phone

published

Can't get anymore from this phone. I used Pixel 1 last year and was just in awe of that.
Since the Pixel 2 XL was launched, I pre-ordered the phone from Telstra.
Its just perfect in every way, be it the Android O, camera performance, battery, front speaker. You name it and you get it on this phone.
The only thing now remaining is that other service providers like Optus and Vodafone should also sell this on contract, so that there is a healthy competition.
