Damage blanket
I bought a blanket which was on 50% sale and paid $50 which means rrp is $100 but after I used for a days I found a hole in it. Its is so hard to find hole or damage while purchasing. Even do not like customer service.

Not Competitive Prices, Shop Around
I bought a nutri ninja auto iq for $239 because it's on sale they said and the next day, other shops costs $189.00 and they won't take it back because I used it once and they can't resale it and they can only match the price on the day you bought it, crap.
I definitely don't want to shop in Harris Scarfe anymore. Thank you very much!

BEWARE OF 50% - 50% prices are still MORE THAN FULL PRICE from other stores. MISLEADING
Today I attended the shops to buy a large quantity of storage containers. As normal, I went straight to HS in Tuggerah.
Here I found their storage containers advertised as being 50% off. I purchased 8 Decor Match Ups. We also purchased Tefal 32cm also advertised as being 50%.
Later when shopping in Coles and Target we discovered that their 50% off price was still more than the normal RRP at these stores.
I have come home and done online research for normal shopping centre stores and discovered that teh containers and the pan is cheap...Read more
er at all other stores than what they are being on sale at HS as being 50% off. I am so offended that whlist i normally make a beeline to HS for most home needs; I will never be shopping there again.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Really great to shop at this store
Approximately 2months ago I went to the Morayfield store to buy a Food Processor...ended up with a Russell Hobbs Processor...the staff made my shopping experience absolutely great...For such young staff they were very helpful, friendly and informative...all had smiles as if they were pleased to be doing that job...I hope they keep up the great customer relations...also prices are very competitive, store very clean and organized, and there is a large range of products.

Customer service is terrible!
Hervey Bay service by [name removed] was terrible! Although the products and prices are good, I certainly would not return to this store! She was abrupt and rude and embarrassed me when I moved to another register so an elderly lady could put her purchases down.

Customer Service - Zero
I am in the Customer Service industry for over 20 years and I teach Customer Service.
I have seen Great, good, bad and ugly of Customer Service but the Shop in Carindale Westfield shopping centre....is an absolute disaster. They might have great deals and cheaper items in the stock that none of the big guns in the industry can`t compare with, However the most important part, Customer Service, is just not there.
I really don't know where to start....
Left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing, according to the sources management is dict...Read more

molting towels
Purchased 2 orange towels - first use - my husband and I were covered in orange fluff, not to mention the whole bathroom. Washed them - same thing happened. When I rang to complain, expecting to hear they would replace them, NO! I was informed they aren't faulty, it takes about 6 weeks of use before the fluff stops and was told to only buy white or cream towels to prevent this happening again. What a load of rubbish, I have all sorts of colour towels and haven't experienced this before. Won't be shopping there again and wouldn't recommend them at all.

Sold superseded products
I bought a Sunbeam Stick blender in 2012 at the Tea Tree Plaza store. It has now ceased to work and after making some enquiries I have been informed by Sunbeam that the product was last produced in 2005! Shouldn't there be some kind of warning when buying superseded products?

Ballarat Store - Horrendous Customer Service
I bought some kitchen knives a few weeks ago, which went rusty after one wash, and have since misplaced the receipt. Something we can all do. I went into the store thinking they would just switch it over, or give me a credit note. How mistaken was I.
The store / shift supervisor, repeatedly raised her voice at me telling me it wasn't her problem if I didn't have a receipt. She also said it would take "days" to look it up on each till and she didn't have the time to waste on it.
She also told me that I should check my consumer rights onl...Read more
ine?! Informing me that they clearly state I need a receipt. I repeatedly asked if she would do anything to help me at all, and she kept shouting (so as to make a point to her colleagues nearby) that she was too busy. Incredibly bad customer service, a total lack of any empathy and care whatsoever. She had nil intent of even wanting to try to help, and her belligerent attitude was astounding. How do people even think this is acceptable to behave like this?!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Customer feedback, Harris Scarfe Womens dept.Adelaide City store.
Your store employee, [Personal Name Removed], was invaluable with her assistance in the Women's Dept.with the selection of clothes for my 80 year old mother. Her friendliness, time, patience and advise indicated to me she has great customer service skills. She took the time and care to assist with selection. Well done!

Consistently great service
I regularly shop at Harris Scarfe in Geelong and find their service and product range (especially bedding) one of the best in the area. Wait for their sales as prices are usually very good (and they'll price match if you see better). Service standard has improved over the years, I wish I could say the same about Target and Big W.
Service, range and prices.

Complaint
I'm a regular shopper at Forest Hill, Victoria and go to all the sales but a lot of products don't have prices and we always seem to be asking staff who have to go to the check out for a price - put price 'zappers' in all your stores and make is easier on staff and customers!!!!

discourteous and abrupt behaviour of staff member
Encountered the above from an assistant at Ringwood store when enquiring about bed linen.
We received a catalogue on 24 Oct assuming it to be current.Said catalogue available 25 Oct.
We travelled some 48 kms--Our error ! Still it does not in any way excuse the rudeness of your
member of staff. Incidentally we shopped at Bed Bath & Table.Doubtful if we shall shop @ H.S again!
Did not appreciate wasted time & travel
