Hi Hayward love my Tiger shark QC
Just have a question found small round anchors on the bottom of my pool any chance it’s from my Tiger shark?
I bought a Tiger Shark robotic pool cleaner around 2 years ago, the cord which is attached to it is tangled continuosly and therefore restricting the machine from going the distance. What can I do to solve this issue please.
Patent No: US 7,118, 63282.

My Hayward Tiger shark is about 2 years old. I was cleaning the filters today and noticed a quarter cylindrical foam section about 100mm long sitting loosely inside cleaner. It must be something to do with cleaner as it is far too large to have passed the filters. Anyone have an idea?
This is our 3rd unit...1st two had plastic pieces broke off (they replaced them quickly)...all had this Styrofoam block inside under the center black housing on the side where the power cord goes in. ...
Read moreThe manual included does not say anything about it, in fact I think we got shorted the manual on this third one, this manual is actually useless. I think we're going to leave this styrofoam block in place on this one unless we are told different by the supplier once they respond to our email. My shark is about 6-7 years old. A few weeks ago, when I start it, it runs for a few seconds and stops. After starting it two or three times it would finally keep going for the entire cycle. Now I have tried about fifteen times and it will only run for a few seconds and stop. What's up? Thanks
Very sorry C in Sumter, but I have not experienced that problem. Its possible some small leakage may have occurred in the motor/control housing. You will most likely have to go to the people you purc...
Read morehased it form or directly to TS as I don't recommend opening that unit. The bottom cover keeps coming loose and all the debris it picked up falls to the bottom of the pool. Very poor design. Do you have any ideas to eliminate this problem ? Maybe something to wedge under the clip
Yes I have seen this same issue when I go to pull the vacuum out of the pool debris falls out
my Tigershark (TS)seem to struggle to climb my step/ledge that runs the length of my pool and into a shallow area that is still deep enough to cover the tiger shark with water. The TS is completely cleaned out so not too heavy to climb and has had this issue since we purchased last December. Is there a way to fix this?
Well, I have to ask, did you check back with the pool shop that you bought it from?
In the meantime, there are a couple of ways of adjusting the water flow through the machine.
Both described in the manual....
Should the tiger shark be left in the pool after it has finished cleaning and the filter has been cleaned? Thanks.
No... it is best to keep it out of the pool and out of the sun, and whilst I don't do this every time myself, it is a good idea hose it out after use. Sun and Pool chemicals will affect the life of t...
Read morehe machine -- it is plastic after all. The arm on my machine did break off recently -- lucky it was still under warranty so they replaced it. The other reason not to leave the machine too long in the pool is because you will be leaving the leaves which has collected under water also... this will cause phosphorous build up. My machine is still keeping the pool very clean though -- so still happy with it.Totally agree with everything Andrew said. Mine is 3y old and never had an issue. The reason to keep the caught leafs out of the water column extends to skimmer box and filter too. The smell often ...
Read moreattributed to clorin, is really the smell of cloramin, i.e. the result of clorins action on the amino acids in leafs, rather clorin itself. How much do they cost and where can I purchase one?
