Tv great to start but ongoing issues
we purchased this tv in December and it was great for a while but having issues now and seems to be common problem across many hisense smart TVs. The internet is dropping constantly and have to reset tv to get working and that’s painful to do. Both on wifi and cable. Other problems are that can’t connect to things that are not an app on tv. Eg Disney tv. If the internet keeps dropping out will be returning and getting another brand. Have downloaded latest firmware, turned off wake to wifi setting, done factor reset, it’s not speed or internet issue from other end, tried cable also. When it happens won’t pick up any networks. It appears to be an ongoing issue and across many models and something hisense has not been able to resolve.

Cheapest OLED on the block didn't disappoint
The good.
Picture is exactly what you would expect from actual OLED panel: crisp, colourful, excellent contrast and deep black colours. Number of video settings and optimisations is mind-boggling. Built-in Chromecast is a very nice addition. Youtube and Netflix apps are responsive and pretty serviceable. Oh, and it has two handles at the back which allowed me to install this 65-inch beast single-handedly (although in retrospect I wouldn't recommend doing it to anyone, it's hefty!).
The mediocre.
Audio is pretty mediocre, unfortunately, despite ...Read more

Constant Panel Refresh maintenance warning appearing on the screen
Wouldn't do anything when press "Start" to perform process, hard reset done by Hisense tech support, the message disappear for a while but keep re-appearing every two days, but Hisense team said this is normal. Personally I wouldn't want to be doing every two days (one cycle takes 70 minutes if succeful ) Currently escalated to the Hisense tech.

Best tv money can buy for under 2k
Went in to upgrade to a uhd and ended up with this bargain. The thickness of the screen was the game changer. It's as thick as my iPad. It's a pretty heavy therefore it's not a cheap tv like some of the other tv's. The volume isn't loud but nothing an affordable sound bar hasn't fixed. Easy to set up to the internet and picked up the foxtel with ease. The black colors are so dark and the reds are so vibrant. Remote is a good size with easy to see icons. The only question to ask yourself before buying this tv is are you willing to pay the extra 1K for a 5% better pic via LG or Sony. This is an awesome 65 inch tv the I highly recommend for the price. 9.5/10.

The best TV I have owned
Fantastic picture quality via OLED panel, great sound (didn't bother to connect my Soundbar), good functionality.
My first time purchasing Hisense brand - recent TV 's have been Sony 55in 8500G and Samsung Series 7 (when living o/s) - so 3 year warranty helped with decision.
While the Sony and Samsung were UHD vs the Hisense OLED, the price point for all is similar, and the Hisense wins hands down of picture quality, sound quality and aesthetics (great stand and ultra thin profile). Most known brands' OLED's cost more than double the Hisense...Read more
. Only frustrating thing is the preloaded apps on the Smart TV are limited - so if you wanted Foxtel Now, Stan, Prime, Netflix, Spotify and Tidal you'll have to use a streaming device like roku (Telstra TV), Apple TV, etc. The remote is great - would be greater if it was backlit!Purchased in November 2021 at Appliances Online for A$1,620.00.

Great Picture
I bought this TV to replace a 10 year old LG LCD which was close to top of the range way back in 2010, The picture quality on the oled is outstanding compared to any other TV I have ever owned and it is perfect for watching movies in a dark room, the panel is very reflective so any light sneaking in through windows or lights will reflect off the mirror like surface and spoil your near perfect picture, if your viewing room is bright with lots of windows maybe this TV is not for you, you would need to buy black out curtains for sure. I have an xb...Read more
ox one s connected and blu ray movies look fantastic, we have enabled HDR on the TV and the Xbox does a good job of reproducing, anything high res we have played on this TV looks great including Netflix, Youtube and free to air, normal tv looks, well just normal and not so good... especially just after you have watched a 4k movie. The onscreen menus are easy to use and there are plenty of settings you can play around with, one thing we disabled was the motion smoothing as it was generating some sort of weird fuzziness around some fast moving scenes/objects, it was easy to disable and it is not a problem anymore, it did not happen with all content either so not sure what is actually going on but it was no problem to fix. We have surround sound amplifier connected for the sound but when we want to keep things quiet at night we use the TV's built in speakers or headphones and they work just fine. This TV was close to 5k on release not so long ago, we managed to pick one up for less than half of that in October 2022 and at that price in my opinion it is well worth it, at 5k maybe not so much. Overall everybody here is so far happy with this television, the picture is the main selling point and what other reason is there to buy a TV if not for the picture? a 75" version would be fantastic but 65" is 15" larger than what we had so no real complaints.Similar opinion? Hisense OLED 65PX is just excellent
Great TV at least $1000 or $1500 less than competitors. Maybe even cheaper. Easy to set up and the biggest hassle is getting it out of the box (big) and putting the stand on. You will need two people. OLED is absolutely gorgeous, but of course in Oz most stuff isn't broadcast at anywhere near that resolution. Thus, normal broadcasts can suffer and rugby/soccer can reveal minor ghosting if you don't subscribe to Foxtel HD. Zero ghosting on surfing, MotoGP, UFC etc so figure that one out eh? Connects to Wi-Fi super easily and YouTube HD is absolu...Read more
tely terrific. No need for cables running across your home. Remote has buttons for YouTube, Netflix, Stan and other media. Four HDMI slots, two USB slots. Stick a 4K disc into your connected video player, or get Foxtel HD (or the free commercial HD channels) and this is just awesome. Don't worry about the fake "inferior" Chinese spiel - this is jaw dropping for the price. NB: Most of what you will be watching is NOT broadcast in HD or anything close to 4K, so for normal viewing any of the UHD sets will suffice (much cheaper). OLED is however vastly superior for anything in HD. Super impressed with the Hisense 65PX and bought it for a great price. Highly recommended.Purchased in September 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for A$2,995.00.

Great Picture - can take a bit of setting up
Initial setup is very simple. However, out of the box, digital 1080p and better content looks amazing but broadcast (free to air TV) at 576i (several channels) was really pixelated especially where there was movement on the screen. Ended up fixing this by turning OFF motion smoothing.
Also had a common problem after about 3 days of owning the TV where it dropped my wi-fi connection and I couldn't reconnect. I found Hisense tech support pretty easy to get onto and they talked me through accessing a hidden menu to turn off fast-boot that was ...Read more
enabled by default out of the box. This fixed the problem. What I love about this TV: - simple to attach solid stand - very thin bezel - blacks are so... BLACK - it is OLED after all - colours are amazing - stuck with standard after trying a few modes - very responsivePurchased in February 2021 at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores.

How do you turn off screen saver and the tv just turns black with sound and goes into a standby mode how do you solve this
2 answers
I can only speak from my experience, and that is its important to use the correct input to connect devices - like Telstra Tv, apple TV, Blu-ray dvd, etc.. If you don't you might get a black screen and sound...this happened to me when I first set-up my dvd player - once I changed the connection to AV1 I got sound and vision
Thanks mate but it does this when your just watching tv also not sure why

Above review says you access iview app through EPG, what is that
And how do I do this please!
2 answers
It's not intuitive. WHen you change to ABC on the EPG - electronic program guide, an indicator comes up on the screen and you press the green button on the remote to access iview. I think for ABC Iview you might be able to download an app, you certainly can for SBS.
Honestly this is the weakest part of this TV for me, I haven't found a way to get 10 play or 9 now to work with this TV....
I'm assuming you mean accessing these channels strictly through the TV's operating system and not through for example an attached invidia sheild or firestick etc etc ?
