Really nice TV!
ULED 65Q8 (65")I have had 3 smart TV's over the last 5 years. Without mentioning the brands I have purchased before not one of the smart TV's I've had has lasted over 5 years. So I changed brands, went to the Hisense and at the moment I feel this is better than all of them. The picture is nothing short of fantastic and I think is on par with the more expensive OLED and QLED TV's. The remote button set up is ergonomic and easily navigated. The sound of the TV is also very good as I think it has a sound bar built in at the base. I have no problem with using any of the apps on it. Although I did connect a Chromecast to run Foxtel Go even though it does have the Foxtel app built in. I choose not to have it connected to Alexa as I feel it's not needed, but can see that would excite others. I have it wall mounted and the thin frame surrounding the TV makes it blend right in and looks fantastic. If I was to pick a negative it is when it is turned off and turned back on the next day it reverts back to channel 1. That is the only negative and it's a very minor one. I would reccommend this TV to anyone. Even if you can afford the "high end" TV's compare this Hisense Q8 with them. Not only can you buy 3 of these for the price of a top end LG or Samsung but you'll be pleasantly surprised that it is every bit as good.

Good TV.....bad panel!!!!
ULED 65Q8 (65")After reading all the positive reviews I was excited about this TV. It has so much potential with some great features and a built in sound bar. But what let's it down is the panel. I noticed black shadow lines while watching sports, manily anything with a solid colour background with fast horizontal panning. "Vertical banding"! Once I've seen it I can't unsee it. Had the TV replaced and the new one has it too, maybe even worse. I bought the TV as an upgrade from my 42 inch I purchased 12 years ago. You buy a TV to enjoy but instead I find myself not wanting to watch it and go back to my older TV that's still going strong. Hopefully others will get lucky with a good panel.

ULED 65Q8 (65")Besides the Apps being limited and the Tv usb facilities unable to play mkv files I would still recommend this TV. I bought a second hand Apple TV box to stream from my MacBook as it’s incompatible with my laptop. The picture quality is really good. The sound is more than adequate. It’s a really slim attractive TV with hardly any frame. I’m very happy with mine. I paid $1350 from the Good Guys Sept 2021. 3 year’s warranty vs Sony’s 1 year plus the cost was the deciding factor for me. It came with two remotes. Very happy overall.

Can not connect apple phone to it, I will need to buy Apple TV separately that’s the only downside. But for this price tag I wouldn’t mind . I paid $1500 for it while it is on end of financial year sale
Not really smart
ULED 65Q8 (65")Purely as a TV it's good, although the sound isn't great, but I was excited about getting a smart tv, and this just doesn't live up to the name. If I had known that there were so few apps available I wouldn't have bought it. You can't even get something as basic as 7plus, and the built-in browser is no help either. It's so clunky it's unusable. The only other part that is quite good is playing eternal media via USB.

Tv warped- told not under warranty
ULED 55Q8 (55")Tv has warped down the side and screen has pulled away. Told this is my fault and not covered by warranty. Wouldn’t recommend. Was happy before this, not now. Won’t purchase Hisense again.

High Performing ULED 4K Digital TV
ULED 55Q8 (55")Having a tradition of replacing my Digital TV before every Olympics, I spent some time reviewing what I needed for the TV. It had to be WiFi, 4K and it had to be easy to use. I found the Hisense Q8 to meet all of these and very simple to configure and then use, but don't be fooled if you dig deeper into the configuration this is an extremely capable ULED. TV The program guide is very fast to refresh and the picture quality is outstanding. To top it all off it is reasonably economical on it's power consumption as it get used for long periods every day and night. It also has the capability via a separate remote supplied to react to your voice instructions. I love it.

ULED 65Q8 (65")I would love with my new Hisence 65” ULED which is purchased 2 months ago. There is many free and enjoyable applications in VIDAA. Also, I got phone remote application on my phone which is faster to search anything on tv. I’m pretty satisfied with my Hisence QLED.

Great TV
ULED 65Q8 (65")Overall this system is pretty good, I like how you can add or remove apps from the main list. When using a HDD with movies on, the name of the movie cant be seen straight away you have to wait for it to come on, the option to see all movies as a list resets each time you open it back up. Only 1 set of audio vid plugs. Connects to my mobile data reasonably quickly. When old movies are on the TV itself, the sound is low then when action comes on or music its very loud, background noise blocks out and dramatically comes back on. This is something to do with the TV sound and not an error of the system, however still annoying. I wouldn't purchase this TV over the $1000 cheaper TV If I was to go back as the extra speaker makes no difference! And that's why I paid for the better system..
Tv quality very average, sound very tinny
ULED 85Q8 (85")Spend nearly $4000 on this unit. Upon unpacking and setting up. We get nothing but glare from this unit which is unfortunate. The tv quality is average for the price we paid. The tv sound is very tinny, we regret our purchase. The only thing we like is the apps, and usability around the great software.

Best bang for buck TV!
ULED 65Q8 (65")The TV picture is amazing and the built in soundbar is very impressive! Once I made some tweeks to the picture settings I find watching movies & sport very satisfying! This is the best value TV on the market! The operating software is OK and the apps are limited but it offers all the big guns like Netflix, Prime, Youtube & Kayo.

Its a good TV based on the price - value for dollar with high definition screening
ULED 75Q8 (75")Happy with the screening and clarity of the TV, however still exploring operational features which could be tweaked... ie some manual functions are not so user friendly (if a remote is not present)
When it was initially purchased, we had to sync the screen with the movement of lips (which wasn't necessary with other models and occasionally you had pop ups appear where you had to go in and change the settings manually.

It is a lot of TV for the price you pay
ULED 65Q8 (65")After more than 15 years of loyalty to Sony I had enough of so called “premium TVs”. I understand that every brand has budget TV models and many brands would have premium TV models that could be summarised as “you get what you pay for”. I honestly believe in that until in recent years I had some exposure to TCL and Hisense TVs. Well, 2 years ago I bought my first Hisense S8 series in a 50” version and what a surprise it was.
