Holden Viva JF (Sedan) (2005-2009)
Engine failed due to lack of maintenance, by other family member. Bought another engine from wrecker, but when it turned up without computer I didn't worry because I had the ECM from the old engine. Had warning light come on ever since with a 300 code which is misfire between cylinders. Checked it over took it too several mechanics, but the Holden dealer ended up telling me that you can't reset an old computer to another engine, and said it could be replaced for $1000. The car runs fine,so I'm running the car with the warning light on.
the sub frame fail and only done 73,000km it almost kill me. I lost stiring in Liverpool st Sydney. The cost of fixing the sub-frames was $2,000 of repair and still does not drive well it make a clunking sound when go over bumbs on the right hand side. I have family of 3 children and feel the car is not safe. I scared to drive this car. I upset pay $26,000 for this car and I suspected it to be a good car.
good size for family car

Holden really should stop importing these economy based vehicles as they are devoid of refinement. We use ours as a second run around and honestly would not consider it a only car. We curently own 2 toyota's one business vehicle and one family one. Would recommend highly going to a Corolla next time.
We have had our 07 Viva for about 12 month's now with about 40,000km.It has not had any problems yet. Interior is still looking good after lugging toddlers around. Has heaps of options all round air bags, Mp3 i Pod connectivity, All round power win...
