Hello, I have a leak on the hose to reel part of my Holman 20 retractable.
I bought from Bunnings but not sure if it's under warranty as I didn't keep the receipt.
The batch no. is 1635.
Firstly, would that batch be under warranty, and can I buy the part required?

While some parts in the units can be repaired, or replaced, other parts, such as the ratchet and internal spring, are not.
We do offer replacement on units that fail within the warranty period.

We bought a Holman 20 when we downsized to bendigo.
Its been great but suddenly wont stop retracting....unusable.
It was purchased at bunnings,no longer have receipt, XW20,PP1641.
Would we be able to get a replacement?

Eversince I had my retractable 20m hose reel I have been fixing g splits in the input hose continually. It now has a new good quality hose for most of it but the hose entering into the unit is now split and leaking. I notice the attachment of the injury out hose requires a romped fitting. Do you supply these and have you a better quality hose that will last the distance of the day unit?

Hello, I am having trouble with my retractable hose. It won't stay extended. I am unable to find the receipt but was purchased within the 2 year warranty. It is batch 1654. Your help would be appreciated. Please help?

I have a 20m unit batch number 1544. It has now stopped retracting. I don't have the receipt as It was a gift. Can you advise if it is under warranty?

Hi, my Husband bought a Holman 20 several years ago. And, we have never had a problem until a couple of days ago, we seemed to have lost some water pressure, checked out the tap and it was fine, when we looked at the hose without the sprinkle, instead of the water coming out round ( like the shape of the hose), it is coming out flat, then today the Hose Reel started a loud whine. The hose pulls out, locks and retracks perfectly. Can someone please let us know what we need to do to fix our Holman? Thanks Carol

Hello Carol, there is obviously a blockage of some description in the reel.
You will need to determine if it is in the hose, or the reel.
The hose can be removed, please see the instructions on our website to be sure this is done correctly or you will run the risk of damaging your unit. If it is the hose, replace it with another. If it is within the unit, it may not be able to be removed.

Can the reels be retensioned.i am replacing the hose after several years but it will only retract approx 50percent?

the feed in part of the system has failed cracked in a couple of places, how is this replaced please, have watched the video onthe hose replacement but did not seeanything about this part.
Actuay the same is happening with the hose cracking near te fitting and elswhere, reason i will replace the hose
help would be appreciated.

All 4 of my Holman units failed to retract, and according to the Holman rep. these are sealed units for safety reasons and so cannot be repaired.
Best buy a better brand, I did.

well after 2 years of replaceig the infeed hose nothing left to attach new fittings to, and the main hose, breaks, and cracks why are such poor quality hoses fitted to these units, they are not cheap and for a few $$$$ more would last longer .if better quality hose was fitted
is it worth going on trying to repair ?? to fit a better quality hose ??? or just junk it next council clean up and purchase a better quality unit from another maker .
Surely Holman are aware of the poor quality hoses being used and not going the distance
another product made in China i suppose to make a larger profit

Hi . I bought a Holman 20 a few years ago. It has never been used. When we were away my son tried to extend the hose & it jammed. I am unsure how to rewind the hose & it has just stayed on the shed floor for ages. Can you please assist me?

Good Morning
Have one of these and have had it for approximately 18months. Unfortunately components are starting to fail. Locking mechanism has failed and has a loud clunking noise when the hose is retracting back into the unit. Also had the retracting mechanism fail today, with tension suddenly being very loose resulting in the hose not retracting fully back into the unit.
The batch number on the unit is 1639. Could you please confirm this unit is still under warranty and if so could you please send me authorization to return the unit to Bunnings. Receipt has been misplaced.

I recently purchased 2 x 20m Holman retractable hoses from Bunnings in February this year. One is perfectly fine the other way already is not retracting properly already. Does anyone know how to fix this? this is a new hose!!

Sorry but no, I tossed mine in the bin. You could take it back to Bunning's and get your money back. These seem to be lemons

Hi Michelle,

This product has an appalling record. Just check through the number of complaints on this site. I'm surprised that from the feedback from their returns desk that Bunnings continue to stock it.
If you have a Bunnings receipt take the reel back for a credit and if you need a second one pick the Hoselink product.

We have a 20 mtre holman retractable hose which sits up just inside the front gate.Yesterday I went to water my garden and discovered that some knobber has stolen both fittings from it by cutting the hose. My husband has replaced the pull out fitting but we need to replace the connection that connects to the tap and it has been cut off right next to the part where it goes into the reel.we can see no way of getting the reel to open. Does this mean that our reel is now useless?
