Small and gets the job done

published

As I said in the title, small and gets the job done, my dog whom I bought this for died recently but despite no more dog hair, it still has been a trusty vacuum and allows me to work around the house with ease, strong suction, light, maneuverable and much more for carpet and lino.

Strong suction

published

I like this newly purchased vaccum cleanner:

1. It has strong suction, I have wooden floor at home and it sucks everything up, includin hair and small light items.

2. The container is really easy to empty, just need to lift it up and press the button.

3. It was also comes with a small brush head, it's perfect for vacuum seats in the car.

This is a great vacuum and excellant value for money

published

I bought this at a Godfreys sale 3months ago for $99 and it includes the rotary head for removing pet hair and hard to pick up fine dust and dirt. Paid $99 with warranty. This the most quiet vacuum I have ever had and is very powerful. I use it for cleaning the carpets and seats in the car and vacuum the house at least twice a week. Doesn't matter how often you empty the vacuum it will always have something it has picked up in the container for collecting the dust etc. Instructions recommend to empty every time you use but depends what you are vacuuming, for everyday household use not necessary. Highly recommend this vacuum.

Good cheap vacuum

published

Good suction. Quite small and light. It has a min-max option to adjust suction and came with the hand held head. My hand held head gets caught with hair straight away and the extra spinning head gets stuck and wont work but i just use the regular head instead so its no bother

Good value for money

published

Got this on sale at Godfreys. Have had it 9 months now and happy with it's performance. I don't have a pet so I can't comment to it's pet hair removal performance but for normal household use it's been pretty good. Suction is powerful (the kind that will lift loose floor covering off the floor) but will lose power fairly quickly if you don't empty very regularly. I would say after every use is ideal for best performance. Luckily it's very easy to empty being bagless and not particularly fiddly. Not the BEST vacuum in the world but excellent value when on sale.

Great machine but heavy

published

This is a great machine but I expected it to be lighter. It comes with an attachment for the stairs but I found that all the bristles came off and were left on the floor. It's not too loud and it is good for the price so I would still overall recommend.

Terrible

published

I hate this product. It was really cheap when I bought it but Its suction is terrible. It is light but it is very loud. It is easy to use however it works poorly. You need to clean its filter too often if you really want to clean your house. Cleaning the filter takes time so I dont recommend this product. I bought a new vacuum cleaner.

Nice little machine

published

Had the Hoover pets bagless for over 12 months.
Still going strong. First bagless vacuum and I'd never go back! Super easy to open and empty the dust collection system. There are filters that are also really crazy to access and remove to clean.
Had a few broken wand heads, they didn't take much pressure, got them replace d.

Good Product, does us described

published

Great product, so much more suction power then any bagged vacuum cleaner, gets more up more hair then most other vacuums, very affordable, very reliable to anyone who isn't incompetent enough to damage it.
Dear parents, stop blaming the manufacture for your own or childs own incompetence!
one two three.

Few issues but overall, great for regular use

published

First vac head broke within 6months and a better quality replacement was easy... Would recommend changing the main filter annually (2-3 times a week vacuumer) boosts suction immediately... Container needs emptying after each use (I have very long hair!!!) and filter cleaned at least weekly for longevity... Overall quite happy!

Excellent entry level cleaner

published

This is a great vacuum cleaner, suction is really powerful and gets up so much more dirt and pet hair than my old one. Very easy to maneuver, light and noise is pretty standard. Only small thing that isn't great is the plastic hose connecter doesn't always stay in place.

Wish I Had Never Bought It.

published

The first vacuum cleaner had to be replaced. It kept blowing the back filter off and blowing dust everywhere in spite of me cleaning/emptying it everytime I used it. The replacement one is so frustrating as it loses its suction very easily. After I clean the back filter it blows dust too though not as badly as the first cleaner. I usually vacuum twice a week but the vacuum cleaner usually loses its suction long before I finish the job. It is cantankerous to empty and clean and the rubber band bits fall off. I am very disappointed in my buy.

Hoover Hepa Filtration Bagless Pet Vacuum

published

I was so disappointed in this unit. The only time it will actually pick up debris is if I take the vacuum head off & poke at the dirt with just the tube - which BTW has disconnected from the metal handle & I have to hold it in place to use! No matter how hard & often it is used on carpets or floor it does not vacuum effectively As for the so called special pet head - it doesn't work effectively either. I thought a Hoover vac would be a good investment. It wasn't & now I have to find a new vac. I'll be checking this site before I buy though!

The vacuum cleaner from hell

published

I have used this cleaner about 20 times since purchase...too scared to turn it on anymore...The filter cover at the rear blows off regularly sending filters and dust flying ! the suction hose has to be held in place where it joins the adjustable metal handle ...the adjustment(longer,shorter)..clip is at the base of the handle near the floor meaning you have to bend to floor level to adjust..seriously the worst mechanical device I've ever bought

generally good. Would give 4 stars if it didn't have fault

published

Reasonable suction. Good to use for a tall person. Bought it for a good price a Godfreys. Only problem is that when the it has to be emptied, the latch won't release, so I have to use a screw driver to open it. Otherwise ok. Couldn't be bothered taking it back for another, as I'm tired of returning faulty items to Godfreys. So I'll just put up with the fault.
Good to use. Ok suction.
Latch won't release to empty without the aid of a screw driver

Why does the hair and dirt go straight through to the small filter and end filter of my new Hoover pet 2200 vacuum cleaner and not stay in the drum? It clogs after a few minutes use and all has to be cleaned. S there something missing?

Hi Kate,
We would recommend taking the machine to your nearest store to be inspected by the staff, just to ensure there are no parts missing and that the machine is working correctly.

I was given this vacuum cleaner last xmas it was good to start with but now I can smell the dust coming from the through the filters. Im not happy with product at all BTW I clean & wash the filters every 2nd day because I just stand the dust coming from the vacuum cleaner. Also the filter thats near the handle gets really really hot sometimes to hot that im scared its going to catch on fire. My mum & par bought it from Godfreys Rockhampton QLD. Plus the part where the filter goes has melted abit so it wont stay closed so I have to use sticky tape. Hope someone can help with this?
