I got this because I really like the design but don't want to pay $800 for its rival.
Its great. It's light and quick to whip around. I can do spot cleans any time I need and it has tonnes of suction. It's always ready to go because of the charger base and I get around 20 minutes before it runs out. The only bad thing I can say is that you have to empty the bin quite a lot but apart from thats its a really good design.

We have put this machine through heavy workload and constant recharging. As opposed to the normal thought process, the secret to the battery not failing is actually not letting get to low and keep on constant charge. The head suddenly stopped working and I thought time for a new one but it was a simple matter of a light sandpaper of the contacts on the unit behind the removable main dust chamber and it fired right up and is still going strong. I hope this helps someone with the same issue. I use an expensive Dyson V6 at work and it is always having battery and suction surging issues.

I love this vacuum cleaner, it is as good as my VAX performance wise. it has great suction and is reasonably priced $199. however, the battery failed after 3 months of owning it and battery is around the same cost as the vacuum cleaner. Charging it repeatedly didnt help, it would vacuum for a couple of seconds and the die. not happy Jan.

I phoned the supplier (Godfreys) about the ultra light and the failed battery with 3 weeks to go before the warranty expired, they told me to take it up with the manufacturer. They would not do this for me ( even though obligated). Manufacturer failed to respond. Last conversation I had with supplier was 7 weeks after commencement to be told "its out of warranty"

Lightweight, quiet, good suction. I love this device. For someone who works all day and long hours, it has made cleaning a breeze and very easy to just pick up and clean my entire house. I can usually get every room in my house done without having to empty it.

Good suction for price. The switch to hold down the on button is fabulous. If i vac daily (small house) I can do it all in the 20 min battery life. Great on carpet and tile, cat hair . Needs emptying often, but easy to do. My only issue is the difficulty in pulling the long wand off, gets stuck. Always get it eventually though. Also I purchased the swivel head with it.

Machine is all of the above,but after 13 months battery won't hold charge so vacuum i s useless. Looking at the other reviews battery replacement is an expensive fix for the problem. Cheap to purchase initially $149.00,but lasting only 13 months and out of warranty,I think i will be sourcing another brand. Hasn't worked since January 2018

I had this for a year but now the battery does not work. Better to get a dyson to last longer. I loved it while it worked and it was cheap but annoying that the replacement battery is almost as expensive as the device.
I recommend to not buy this item.

Bought from Goffery's on nov. 16. 2016 order not filled till Feb 2017 Pleased enitiallly with the product but but now after 12 mths and only two bedrooms to vac twice a week the battery will not hold a charge, lucky to get it 2-3 minutes work out of it very disappointed .

Was happy with this vacc to begin with but then had nothing but trouble. The first time it stopped working I took it back to me local godfreys and it took over 2 months to get it back after repair for it only to stop working a month last back again and they replaced the battery then a third time they replaced he battery again and it was working better then it ever had but now it has stopped working once again!! Just want my money back!

Fantastic appliance for 13 months with normal use! - extremely handy and versatile machine- However, poor quality Hoover Li -on battery is now u/s and wont hold a charge!

The purchase of a replacement battery (if you can get one?) is not cost effective when considering its lifespan.

Will be purchasing another well known brand albiet more expensive.

I was a bit concerned that a cordless vacuum wouldn’t be as powerful as a regular one and that the battery life would be an issue but I have not been disappointed. This vacuum is powerful like any other and the battery lasts a good 20 minutes. I’m vacuuming a 2 bedroom unit every week and we have carpets throughout. It’s a great tool!

I'm quite appalled on how this portable vacuum performs, easy to clean, powerful. We have tiled and carpeted floors and this vacuum sucks well. One whole charge can clean a 2 bedroom apartment and 1 medium sized car. It comes with a crevice tool, dusting brush as well. Read some reviews that the small plastic wheels are easily destroyed and found out that if you tend to push hard downward it may dislodge the wheel. Overall, I'm happy with our purchase.

Happy with the suction. Purchased this as a cheaper alternative to the popular vacuum stick range.
Very light, changeable heads (narrow for tight spaces, short head for car)
Able to be mounted if wanted, otherwise is able to lean against the wall with the head at 90 degrees.

I use this in a 2 bedroom apartment. Good suction.

The area i vaccum is more than 200sqm..it vaccums tiles and wooden floor..it sucks the dust faster.only thing annoying is we have to charge the battery regularly..All my friendd have..they have given a good reviews to me..price is moderate for the features they give....if u have kids and dont have time. .u can buy this...

Love this vacuum. Handheld long battery easy to manoeuvre around the house and the fact you can flip a switch to keep it on not always holding a button in whilst vacuuming. Easy to clean and use all around my house from tiles to carpet. So light and easy even my 3yr old can use it to clean up her mess. Great suction does a better job then my Dyson

this is definitely more convenient to pull out for those in-between cleans. It's probably a 6/10 for power compared to my Miele full vacuum. The pipe attachment sort of jiggles a bit when using it. There's a handy dandy bin disposal button which makes unloading the dust collection compartment very easy. I've noticed it isn't strong enough to pick up harder things like tiny stones, but for hair, animal dander and general dust, it's great.

Not happy with its suction and it clogs up the brush after just a few minutes
It is light and easy to maneuver but what is the point if it doesn't pickup the dirt!
Mainly on carpet in our bedroom where it performs poorly.
In the store it picked up almost everything on their red carpet but at home it doesn't do the same.
The suction isn't bad as a hand held but hopeless with the brush at the end.

Had this for more than a year now. Its been good, just need to clean up I guess as it is not very as strong as when I just got it. Also battery needs to be replaced. In general it is good value for its price. Light weigh and easy to carry around is definitely a credit

i use it on both carpet and tile so quick and easy and emptying is super fast with no mess I have a cat and it handles his shedding with no dramas easy to store fits in the cupboard with no struggle, and it doesn't hurt my back like the heavy duty ones

This is the best rechargeable we have bought although it is the dearest. Very quiet, easy to use, suction is great. Got it on special at Godfreys and would recommend to another for quick jobs. Has changeable parts for floor and cushions, etc. Great on carpeted stairway rather than using a heavier cleaner.

Extremely light and convenient to use.The battery recharges quickly and the unit stores away easily.

We have a small home that gets quite messy with a new child. The speed at which you can do a quick vacuum is super convenient. We now vacuum everyday & it seems almost fun. The charging is easy & fast.
No problem with power on our timber floors.
Only query I have is there is no floor mount/rack. There is a wall mount.

Great and easy to use on our wooden floors! We have cats and it removes all the fluff and hair, and dust! Easy to clean, the hair on the brush is easy to remove with a bobby pin or small comb from the bristles. Love our Hoover! Only wish it had brushes or sponge to clean the filter. Otherwise amazing!

I purchased this 13 months ago and the battery has already died. I wasn't even using it every day, and kept it charged but now the battery holds charge for less than 20 seconds. I contacted Hoover directly, requesting a replacement battery and all they did was tell me to go back to the store I purchased it from (40 minutes from where we now live) so not convenient at all.
On top of that, Godfrey's sold me a swivel head for $50 to go on the end of the Hoover Ultra Light and it was utter garbage, it was difficult to clean and deteriorated quickl...
