Wish I Had Not Purchased
Wish I had not purchased a HP Laptop.
Purchased in October 2022 for $1300 at an Officeworks store.
A HewlettPackard model shown in photo of receipt.
Early March 2020 the laptop will no longer charge whilst turned on. Battery life when fully charged is 30 minutes.
HP technician actually said that a 5 month old computer having an 1 hour battery life is good. So much for advertising 8 to 10 hour battery life. They are lies.
Officeworks refuses to refund or exchange as does HP. Sent away for repairs for weeks.

Terrible computer. Wouldn't work properly. HP Support was very unhelpful.
I purchased this laptop for my son, who wanted to use it at work. He tried to use it as a remote desktop to a work WiFi. It was very slow and kept dropping out of the WiFi. My son's 7 year old Acer laptop still worked perfectly at his work. Other people at my son's workplace had no trouble with their laptops. The consultant at HP Support was not at all helpful and suggested there was no problem with the laptop. She suggested we contact the ISP. We were not given a Reference Number as she told us there was no issue with the laptop.

ned the laptop to the shop and the shop assistant reported that a number of schools had returned them because they were faulty. The shop refunded the purchase cost and my son bought a Lenova Yoga laptop instead. This works perfectly at my son's workplace.
