Best car ever
We had hired quite a few I30s so when it was time to buy I didn't hesitate. Love all the bells and whistles for the price ie reverse camera, auto headlights, auto wipers, auto door lock, keyless entry and start, leg room in the back, lots of room for lugggage etc in the boot area, cooling glove box, gps, bluetooth etc etc

Love this car
Love my Hyundai i30, it's so spacious for a smaller car. Drives well and doesn't chew up the petrol. The only issues I have is with the turning circle - its more like that of a big car! Also sometimes the reverse camera doesn't work (2015 model). The seats are comfortable, fits a baby seat or capsule as well.

Good Car except for Warranty Issues.
Generally a good car, haven't had too much troubles with the car aside for issues with the radio and audio system. I've had it repaired once already, and is continuing to have the same issue. It appears to be a known issue and am now just waiting for another refurbished radio.

Hyundai i30. 10/10
Bought a base model diesel (until hubby ordered his new car) as a runaround, then hand it down to the eldest child to update his old car. Was very impressed at the features on this and the drive. Would recommend this to anyone looking at buying a new car for sheer value and standard features such as reverse camera, sensors and the amount of charging points (beats my mercy for that number). Nice drive too. Only thing that lets it down is no digital speedo, but something he'll get used to. They have certainly come a long way since we last bought one around 15 years ago and got rid of it soon after.

Amazing!
I have had my i30 for almost five years, and I can say with much confidence, it's the best car ever! I have had no issues, it's very reliable and economic. It goes very well on the freeway, and easy to park and get to places. I would recommend an i30 to anyone, thank you to Hyundai for creating an amazing car :)

Awesome car
I traded my Jeep Grand Cherokee for an i30 to get my running costs down. I was not expecting much from a sub $20k car but it has blown me away. It is very comfy on a long trip and the economy is sensational
Running costs are cheap as. I have bought a lot of new vehicles in my time but this i30 is the best value for money by a long way.

Stylish and practical
We love zipping around in our little Hyundai i30 with the clear roof. It is neat, stylish inside and has all the bells and whistles you need and expect from a modern car. The seat warmers have been so very nice on the frosty cold mornings lately. It is reliable, the capped priced servicing is great and if there is anything wrong with it, Hyundai have been good fixing it. A great small - but not so small car!

Dream to drive
This is my second i30! It is such an awesome small car with such a large boot space and surprisingly a full sized spare wheel in there too. Seats are super comfortable with adjustable heights and lumber support. Super comfortable to drive with adjustable steering. The interior is very neat with lots of little compartments for things. The automatic wipers, mirrors and lights make it super convenient and is very economical and has enough go

This is very nice little car I really love it
Driving experience is excellent. I love it. I drive every day. However, I like do not like leather seats as it is too cold in winter. I would have bought cotton ones. Running cost is reasonable. I spend about $35 per week. I really love the colour of my car. It is metalic blue.

Great car
I bought this car from FerntreeGully Hyundia last year around August, since having it I must say its brilliant
Diesel to begin with is one point I would like to mention - there are unleaded and diesel versions of this vehicle and I chose the diesel one, to point out how fantastic this choice was, I drove from Melbourne to Adelaide in about half a tank of fuel - this worked out to be 25 dollars for the trip and prior to filling up I had driven 900kms. In suburban driving I get about 500kms on a full tank of fuel, considering the car takes a...Read more
bout 40 dollars too fill up depending upon the prices for diesel. The stereo is great with hands free, has extra fog lights which is great, cruise control works fantastic, the seats are comfy, plenty of room to transport things in, usb for audio plug in mp3 player and wow the amount of compartment spaces in the car is great. Keeping up with service is a bit pricey - now I have owned a commodore berlina befor and ford falcon - I have to say this I like better than both of those, in the convenience and economy wise the hyundia just wipes them out, however with my other cars simply put 6 cylinder there is way more power - I don't have a tow bar on this car and wont have one due to the fact its a 4 cylinder and really it does have power but not the power of v6 and you can notice it straight away. Driving overall is great, it grips to the road, due to being diesel its a bit on the loud side but that's ok, dashboard is simple to read and looks cool I just love this car. Highly recommendedSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great car
Excellent car to drive, feels stable on the road, handles well on freeway at 110kmh. Well set out dashboard and easy to navigate media centre. Very comfortable sets and excellent leg room for tall people. Great boot space and even has a full size spare wheel. We have had two of these cars....upgraded and gave the first to our daughter who loves it too.

i30 just right for me
I found the i30 just right for me. The dashboard is easy to read day and night. The controls are straight forward and easy to use whilst driving. With a baby seat it was hard finding a small car that would fit in the car seat I had bought, the i30 had enough backseat space that the passenger seat didn't have to be pushed all the way forward. I've done some long trips in the car as backseat passenger and driver, the seats are comfortable and I had plenty of room. I find the reversing camera really good. It's very clear and easy to see and navigate whether in daylight or night time.

Very reliable with lots a great features
We had a Mazda 3 before the hyundai and are far more impressed with the Hyundai. The seating is higher and getting access into and out of the car is much easier with the door design which seems to give a wider entry and exit facility. The mazda seating seemed much lower and it was always difficult to clip the seat belt with the mazda. The Hyundai is much better in that regard. The rear view camera is a great addition for safety and when you get used to this type if technology you wouldn,t go back to an older tech car again. I found I can get ab...Read more
out 5.8 litres to a 100k,s on a freeway using BP 98 ultimate. When I go to lower grade petrols I get around 7.2 km/s per 100 k,s. Better off using the best fuel you can get. The internal phone st up is great. The Car play system is only geared up for an Apple tech system which is a shame if you don,t have an apple phone. Probably the biggest draw back. Interior size is very good for this sized car. Quite adequate leg room .The biggest criticism is the way dealerships hassle you with a very slick system in processing you to get add ons. eg Wind screen products, rust proofing, interior fabric treatments etc. You just have to grin and bear it-- can be quite amateurish and quite a silly process you simply have to go throughSimilar opinion? Great Car to Drive- heaps of legroom but Apple Car play not reliable.
I enjoy driving my i30 Hatch. It's zippy and great on fuel. Have got 5k per 100litre on highway driving, and my short trips around suburb I am averaging 7k per 100litre. I have had the car for 12 months and only 9000km on speedo so I don't use it much. The Active X has the choice of sport/comfort/normal for different highway/ road conditions and this works well.. The boot is spacious, and can fit larger items in by dropping the rear seats down. I went for the leather interior but wish I'd got the fabric seats as the seats are hot in summer...Read more
and cold in winter and the leather scuffs very easily. The marks are hard to wipe off, despite paying for leather protection. I also got Paint protection( from an outside company as it cheaper than what Hyundai was offering,) Window tinting and Interor protection is absolutely a neccessity. The Car just shines. The bird poos and mud, just wash off so easily and I had someone slightly scratch my bumper, and the scratch was able to be polished out no drama. A welcome addition is the the full-size spare tyre in the boot, as a lot of new cars don't come with this these days. On my first 4 week service the car was returned to me with a deep gauge on the door, but Hyundai did fix this and the Touch up Guys did a wonderful job. The negative: The Apple Car play and blue tooth is not very good. I had 6 times back and forward to Hyundai from the first week, as the voice recognitiion was absolute rubbish and would not work correctly or not at all. As this handsfree option of using my mobile phone, was one of the reasons I bought the i30 over the Corolla, I was very frustrated and disappointed. The Service Dept had me in and out - doing software updates and finding all sorts of excuses for the blue tooth not working, and finally in February this year they recognised there was a problem (probably had other complaints) and they recalled the car and replaced the head unit with a new one. The microphone in this unit has a bigger hole and after this the Car play worked fine. (Until the yearly service where I think they did an update to the software - as it is starting to do the same thing again- but that's another story.) The legroom and headroom in the front seats are suitable for a six foot 3 male and steering wheel and the seats can be adjusted to suit all heights and sizes.Similar opinion? Best Value For Money Car Out There
I have owned the 1.6 CRDI (turbo diesel) for 5 years now and it drives as good as the day I bought it and it constantly returns 4.7L per 100Kms. In sixth gear it is quieter than its petrol rivals. Forget all the negative rubbish you think you know about diesel engines, it is just not true about the new diesel engines. I will never buy a petrol car again, so delighted am I with this car. Oh and after 5 years of trouble free motoring I intend to keep it and break my habit of renewing my car once the factory warranty expires. Best value for money car I have ever owned.

Beautiful Car
I love this Car, Beautiful Leather interior, so silent on the road hardly any road noise, I don't however like the reverse alert button. I do wish I got GPS and reverse camera in my car, but they were personal choices. I was in that the car is absolutely perfect and I don't have any complaints

Great Car
Great value for money.
Only issue is the apple car play is only compatible with apple maps and not google maps. Since google maps are much more accurate in my opinion.
The front lights are a bit dim.
But the feel and design and great esp with the rear view mirror.
Its fuel efficient. And has enough power for long drives.

Awesome Car
Could not be happier with our i30, we've had it for almost a year (2016 model) and it has run smoothly and is a delight to drive, other than two break ins (nothing we could do about that) we've had to replace both back windows but everything else runs like a charm

Worth buying
Simple dashboard, good to handling and easy to park. It good for a girl to drive to work everyday. It costs 25 to 30 dollars for me to drive 40km a week. And the Service fee is free in first 5 years. But air condition is a little bit noise.

Just an update, the car is approaching 6 years old and all is well, it still drives beautifully, the fuel economy is constant at 4.7 L per 100 KM's and still no issues to report. Sorry car dealers I am keeping this car for a good while yet.
