Wonderful machine

published

We replaced an Elektra Semi-automatica with this machine. This is a much better all rounder - consistently great coffee (using good beans and grinder) and excellent milk foam once technique has been mastered. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Purchased in April 2021.

My friends reckon I make better coffee than they can buy!

This is a traditional manual Italian machine with the full sized head found on commercial machines. It is not automatic, and some time is required to master the techniques required to make good coffee. I did a course which took a few hours. Given good beans, and importantly, a quality grinder, it can make coffee as good as can be obtained anywhere, along with perfectly steamed milk micro foam. Critically, given it is an expensive purchase, it can be repaired or serviced by any coffee machine service company. Parts are almost all generic, and brass, or stainless steel. I bought mine eight years ago from Coffee-a-Roma, and it has been inexpensively repaired and serviced a few times without fuss. It will outlast me!

Awesome!!

Great little semi commercial machine for the home. Haven't had a problem and this machine, once you figure out what you're doing, makes better coffee than 80% of the cafes out there. Make sure you team it with a stepless high quality grinder or you're wasting your time.
This model has the safety shutoff switch and a huge drip tray... trust me you want this.
I'd recommended for anyone who loves coffee and isn't afraid of having a crack at becoming a home barista

It’s been great. Can’t fault it except that when you make a lot of coffees in a row you need to let it heat the water up again for a few mins. Just be prepared for the service costs with any machine of this type

I live in rural NSW. Might be an issue. The bezzera bz10 seems to have less things that need replacing according to done might need to fork out a bit extra. Anyway thanks for the heads up.
