I can't see the size of the BBQ plates - are they all grill or half plate or 3/4 bbq plate and 1/4 grill?

6 burner has 2 grill and 1 hot plate...
I actually went to bunnings and brought 2 hot plates so I just have all hot plates..think they were about $20-$30 each
Replacing grills with hotplates voids the warranty. This can cause an excessive build up of heat which can lead to personal injury, especially if the hood is closed. This probably relates to your comment below about getting to hot & overcooking the meat.

Hi, we’ve purchased this Jumbuck bbq for Christmas and are trying to set up the Jumbuck rotisserie but the lid won’t close with the brackets on. Has anyone had this same trouble or know how to fix it? Thank you

Hi Kate,
I haven't had an issue with this. The lid closes correctly when I attach the rotisserie. Double the back frame has been assembled correctly.

Will this bbq rust?

I’ve kept mine very clean over the past few months and haven’t noticed any. Over time every BBQ will rust.

The 4 burner comet looks like it is set up to have a rotisserie attached with the holes through the cover/lid but I can't find anywhere that this is verified and subsequently what type of rotisserie is available, can anyone help?

Hi there,
I’m looking at the Jumbuck Comet 6 burner BBQ for my Dad and wondered if it can be connected to mains gas with an adapter kit and gas plumber to install? Or, is it for use only with gas bottles?
Many thanks
Brooke

What do you put on the tray, under the burners to absorb the drips of fat etc? Or doesn't it need anything?
