Corn crumbs not flakes

published

I am 65 years old and have been eating Kellog Corn Flakes all my life. The last two boxes I bought have changed. The flakes are smaller and very brittle and crumble to a saw dust like mush before you can swollow a bite.

Cornflakes flavour change is awful

published

Kelloggs seem to have changed the flavour of their cornflakes - to less flavoursome. After eating them for over 40 years, the flavour has sadly, and secretly been changed. I have started to add my own salt, which takes the taste back to normal. This makes me think they have cut salt out. Why didn’t they just offer a low salt version rather than ruin a masterpiece cereal?

The recipe has changed and is definitely not the same as years ago

published

Kellogg's cereals used to be the flag ship brand that customers could rely on for quality and taste.Im sure we can all agree on this statement if we are talking about 20 years ago.

Purchased in at Aldi for $2.50.

What on earth has Kellogg's done to what used to be a favorite of millions?

published

Initially, I thought the issue may have been isolated to Barbados or perhaps the wider West Indies. But after reading other reviews it seems to be worldwide.

Due to economic circumstances, I've been buying cheaper brands of corn flakes than Kellogg's for several years now. Surprisingly, some of those cheaper brands are actually quite good. But ever since I was a lad (I'm 58 now) I've considered Kellogg's Corn Flakes to be the best. Well, unfortunately that's no longer the case. A supermarket in my area currently has it on special, and I grabbed the opportunity to buy a box. (Even on special it's significantly pricier than the rest.) Well, in a word, I'm disappointed.

Kind of sad to see this happening to an icon.

Purchased in for $12.

Please bring back the old recipe

published

I used to enjoy cornflakes as a kid. I had not eaten them in years until now, and I just realized that their recipe had changed. They don't absorb milk the way they used to, and they're a lot crunchier -which is good for making marshmallow snacks, but not good for everyday breakfast. These cornflakes are also heavier. The old ones were much lighter and thinner and flakey, which made them much nicer. This is still a really good cereal, but I believe it used to be so much better, and could be again. Thank you for your consideration and reading. Blessed be.

450g corn flakes

published

Bought the smaller packet as larger 790g had sold out, they tasted nothing like Kellogg’s, more like cheap own brand. Anyway I have also written to K to complain, I hope it’s not a permanent recipe change as it’s my go to evening snack !

The sunshine has gone from my Corn Flakes.

I can't believe what has happened to the taste of Kellogs Corn Flakes. They are now tasteless and hardly chewable. Bring back all that we cherish about our breakfast and stop interfering with taste. I worked in the Middle East 20 years ago and used to search for taste of Manchester not substitute from Germany. Give us back our favourite cereal Kellogs.

Why change texture?

Why have Kellogs changed texture in Canada? They now taste as bad as generic Loblaw's store product. Too crispy and lacking in flavour
