The actual beaters are badly made.
Bought it in Nov 17 and today 25/1/18 one of the mixers broke away from where they connect to the stem, I was only beating cream as well. If I had a Mig welder I would have fixed it myself. Took it back and they gave me my $$ back.
The motor seems strong and was up to do any job, Kenwood needs to focus on Quality control and who supplies them their beater attachments, needs to be sacked.
I've been wanting to buy a Kenwood Chef but get a bit nervous to spend that sought of money when I see a small product of theirs like this hand-mixer is not that well made.
