Work better as boat anchor
I purchased this about 2 years ago after a storm caused a power outage for 4 days. I've had no real use for it until 6 months ago then when I did start it found that no power was being produced at outlet even though light and meter said power was available. After switching off found fuel leaking from carbie so I rang mechanic who advised to change carbie as can't be repaired. I then contacted supplier to find that model had been discontinued and part no longer available. So I would never buy anything with Kincrome name on it again.
Purchased in January 2021 at north east fasteners for A$530.00.

performance & noise level
We bought ours new & think it value for money. We live in the Daintree & use it for both powering our appliances & recharging our batteries. Fuel consumption depends on load & you need to check the oil regularly. We paid $550 new & its great value for money compared to the more established brands

Are kingcrome genarators any good
G'day Mick, I would not buy another even when I got motor to run there was no power at outlets. When I checked this out found wire connecting the two outlets had been screwed down on to plastic around wire. QC does not seem to exist at Kingcrome.
Thank you.
