Lots of suction!
This is the top of the Kmart vacuum range (nit sure what that means liol) it has a stack of power, you notice it from the first time you turn it on. Its loud too, very loud. It is kind of cheaply manufactured though and that OK because the price is less than $100. I cant think of any other vacuum that delivers so much power for the price. It aint beautiful but it gets the job done!

Not For the Pet Owner
crazy design of power head where the suction through a turbine provides power to turn power head eg all dirty air goes through turbine.. pet hair just wraps around shaft and it blocks. not easy to remove having to unscrew case of power head held together with small screws .
the main filter does not handle the pet hair well it goes through to small filter wraps around that and blocks.
best avoid if you have pets
I use mine now to clean car it does have the suction of expensive vac in a cheap fragile package
Best not for every day use

Powerful but cheaply made
This goes like a rocket. I really jumped the first time I turned it on because it's so loud (and powerful) but it is also made from quite cheap plastic so I doubt it will last forever. The tubes are good, they are made from chromed steel and the floor tool isn't bad. The whole rest of it is plastic and a bit flimsy here and there. It works well and would probably be best fora a non permanent situation such as a rental. That's where we use ours

Great vaccum for suction
Very happy with performance and suction but the cord seems to be lacking and can only vaccum one room at a time which is really time consuming but doesn't affect the overall use. Pretty good for the price and was easy to assemble. Would be good to have more height adjustment on the hand held stick.

Surprisingly great
I was very skeptical about buying a vaccum from Kmart but this vaccum is brilliant. It's easy to move around and works great on my wooden floors. There are plenty of attachments which are very handy as I have a varied house. The suction on this vaccum is very powerful and I've never struggled to pick up any thing.

Basic vacuum cheaply made
This goes off like a rocket when you first buy it but the power drops off quite quickly. By the time the barrel is half full the power is noticeably less. Its sort of cheaply made but works well enough. I would say think of it as "cheap but powerful". Its far from perfect but it cleans quite well. I cant see it lasting all that many years but its quite cheap to buy.

Good little vaccum, but don't last very long
It is a very light weight vaccum and it sucks up everything really well, but the cord is short and after using it every week for a few months it has started to loose its suction and button become stuck or harder to press. You get what you pay for I suppose.

Absolutely love it
This vacuum has served me so well. I was able to clean out two hostel hallways with it and it is more than worth the price. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone who is looking for an easy to use vacuum for their home or apartment. I will absolutely buy this one again when mine dies.

Unreliable
I bought one of these last year for my parents and I was impressed with its powerful suction and loved the little filter on the pole so I bought one for myself. Unfortunately, its performance was not good. The little filter broke off after a few months of light use. At the place it came apart, it was impossible to tape it back on. Without it, everything obviously goes to the main drum which is extremely difficult to empty. The smallest dust and bits separate which fall out when you open it but all the bigger dust and hair clumps together inside...Read more
the drum and you need much smaller hands than I have to get it out or you need a screwdriver everytime you want to unclog it. Without the little filter on the pole, it literally needs to be taken apart and unclogged every 5 minutes when I was cleaning carpet. After reading similar reviews on this site, I took it back, gave them feedback and the lady said 'not built to last then' and gave me a full refund. I am happy with the Kmart cordless stick vac (cost the same as the other at $99) but it needs to be charged frequently.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Super powerful vacuum very pleased
Can't believe how a cheap vacuum from Kmart has so much power. We were sick of replacing bags and didn't want to spend over a lot of money getting a bagless and this Hoover is great loads of suck power and gets dirt right up off the deep floors or carpets

Great value!
At $99 this vacuum cleaner really does tick all the boxes regarding performance. Having to replace a Dyson after many years of use, and looking at the cost of a replacement, the benefits of a new Dyson could not justify the high purchase cost.
The 2400W bagless has excellent suction and a good selection of tools. The inline interceptor filter works well as long as it is emptied before it gets too full - an easy and quick operation. The attachment head for carpets cleans well.
The only negative is the rather short power cord - needs to be a few metres longer.
Overall, very happy!

Snap, clunk ! F$#k what's that burning smell
What a horrendous appliance. 2 minutes into a test run the small plastic collection container on handle snapped off. And I was not putting much pressure on it. What a pathetic cheap design. The power cord is very short. So an extension cable is a must. The dust collector is flimsy and the locking mechanism s are pathetic. When you run it it's letting off a weird burnt egg plastic smell. So one day into owning it I am heading back to Kmart for a refund. This is the problem with Kmart they mass produce these products when they must know 3/4 of it will end up in land fill within less than a year. Avoid this vacuum like a 3pm sushi dinner box on sale.

Excellent machine, lots of suction
We just got one of these after all the hype online and I agree to some extent. Yes, its is VERY powerful for a cheap machine but it is also somewhat crudely made and the dust bin in frankly very average. I do think it represents excellent value and it managed to pick up a LOT of of dust on the first run but emptying without a bag was a messy process. So its good but it does have certain drawbacks that are to be expected at this price point.

Good but not great
Saw this being talked about as "great" and "amazing" on Facebook and was influenced to give it a go. Its good but nowhere as great as everybody is saying. The good points are its powerful (very) and has good quality floor tools and metal wands. The bad points are: it loses suction quickly and the bin and body are cheap plastic. Will it last? Probably not all that long but its $99 and it does a good job.

Cheap construction but works well
This is a cheap and cheerful vacuum. It is very spartan in design. No accessories to speak of and no branding on it. It's made from thickish plastic. The body is quite robust but strangely the dust barel is quite weak and flimsy. It's incredible loud when running and smelled quite a bit for the first week or so (like oil and burned plastic). Its does work though and actually does an alright job. Its a Kmart product and cheaply made so i doubt it will go for all that many years.

Not good value!
Worked ok initially for 5-6wks, then lost some suction? Kmart's exchange policy is good, they offered refund or new replacement. I took another of the same Home & Co 2400w model, unpacked & assembled it, but disappointingly it DOES NOT turn on. Just makes a buzzing noise & smells of burning plastic (which could be dangerous), so will return to Kmart again. Not happy!

Works fine but cheap plastic breaks easily
I paid $99 AUD or this which is pretty cheap for a vacuum and for the price it works pretty well. I got one room done before the "dust separator" snapped off where it connects to the wand so I had to do the rest of the place without it. Very disappointed with that as its a great addition to the machine. I used the regular head (because long hair tends to clog up turbo heads) which was great on hard floors and ok on carpet. Not as good as my old Werheim but given that it was half the price of a replacement head for my old machine I'll live with...Read more
it until I can get something better. Replacement dust interceptors are about $20 on eBay so I'll probably just buy one of those rather than bothering with another trip to return the machine. Really should have to after one use thoughSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Cheap garbage
Had it a couple of months and returned it today for refund.
Broke the wand filter and had it taped in the first week as it was very flimsy. Broke it more last week and taped it some more which didn’t hold.
Had plenty of suction at first but no matter how much the chambers and filter were cleaned, it was slowly getting weaker.
Filter/collector body falls off the base when picked up by the handle.
Started to overheat and shut down after 5-10 minutes so that was the last straw.
Kmart gets the star for their great return policy.
Bought a Dyson today. We all stood around holding each other crying tears of joy!

I'd call it useless as opposed to bagless
I bought this as it had a heppa filter attachment and I thought great, no longer will items get mistakenly sucked up into the filter. Wrong. What I didn't bank on is the silly cylindrical filter is loosely attached to the handle so it keeps coming off while trying to vacuum which means just as you get in the swing of it the think keeps working itself lose. In the end it's easier to just pull it off and do without, which defeats the objective. This means we're back to making sure nothing gets sucked up by mistake. Love the look of it, love that it's neat and small but hate the silly cylinder attached to the handle which keeps falling off. Another op shop item....

Cheap but gets the job done
This ain't no luxury imported German cleaner - thats for sure lol. It does work though with crude power and gets the job done. Its a simple design - a filter and a barrel with a hose. I find you need to keep emptying it to keep the suction up or it can get very weak. The bagess design is good that you save bags but bad because it makes a big mess when you empty it. Cord length is adequate although I use and extension in the halls. Overall fair value but I wouldn't expect it to last forever.
