Before purchasing a King Single for our young daughter I read all the negative reviews I could find. Why? Because there were so many positive ones I was suspicious. The negatives turned out to be gripes about return fees because the fine print had not been read etc, almost none about the mattress itself.

So we bought it and could not be happier. The next mattress we get for our bed when the current one needs replacing will be a Koala.

Koala has successfully created a business and a model that is accessible, value-for-money and has the customer firmly in mind. To be able to have a quality product delivered on the same day was outstanding. Before now purchasing a mattress was not something I looked forward to - expensive, confusing and with extremely long delivery times. Congratulations to the team behind Koala for disrupting the marketplace and offering a product that is comfortable and user-friendly.

It is the first time I'm trying this particular type of mattress and i must say I'm very impressed. The quality of the product is most impressive and the customer service from start to end was amazing. I was most impressed with the after hours delivery option, which makes it very easy for people who work between 9am and 5pm. Mine got delivered at 7pm. Overall im very happy and would recommend it to anyone. Also the price is good, considering whats on the market.

Cant fault the whole purchase experience, customer service was excellent. The mattress is firm so if you want a soft mattress, suggest a mattress topper or similar, but its perfect for what we were looking for.

Mattress is medium firm. It is very comfortable but doesn't live up to claims. I still don't wake refreshed or sleep all night.
Nice covering but don't know how it will stand up to washing.
Update: 3 years out and mattress is still a quality, comfortable mattress. Insomnia is no better but mattress is comfy.

I bought one king single for my youngest daughter and she loves it. My eldest daughter tried the mattress for one night and wanted one also. We have now purchased our second king single and my eldest daughter has said she does not even wake up anymore with a sore back.

We bought a Koala mattress for our just- turned 7- year old Grandaughter. As well as the mattress, she got a Certificate proving she has adopted a real, live Koala. That hangs proudly on her wall.
She describes the mattress to everyone as her "very comfy cosy Koala ".
The ultimate accolade? She now asks if she can she go to bed EARLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You won't get a better recommendation than that.

The Koala mattress is incredible. My back is often sore from an old injury in the evening. I go to bed knowing that in the morning my back pain will be gone for the day or until I do something something silly. I lay on the bed feeling every part of my back is supported. I do not remember any other mattress offering this type of support. If I do not use the pillow I am even more relaxed when I wake.
My only complaint is that I cannot find a mattress like this to take camping. I have persuaded some fussy friends to purchase one and they are enjoying their mattresses. Other friends are saving for one. I cannot imagine sleeping on another mattress.

The delivery and customer service has been second to none, with the mattress arriving the same afternoon. Initial thought was that it would be too soft, yet the mattress is so comfortable and supportive.
We have just had the hottest January, with nights staying in the upper 20 and even 30 degrees, yet still so very comfortable, not generating that heat patch as with other mattresses.

The best mattress! I have never felt so comfortable. I am very happy with my Koala mattress, i used to work on my table. Not anymore. I used to lay down for 10-15 minutes, no matter how tired i was. Not anymore. This is the best mattress ever! Highly recommended.

This mattress is just amazing. So firm and yet so soft. It's like rolling into a cloud every night and waking feeling rested and peaceful every morning. Best move I ever made purchasing my new Koala mattress! Delivery in the week between Christmas and New Year was pretty amazing too.

An absolutely amazing mattress, so soft and incredibly comfortable. I'll never want to go back to a boring old spring mattress ever again, as nothing will be able to compared to this.

Have only had my mattress for a month so my review is in the short term. However, I no longer wake with a sore lower back, something that I'm really grateful for, and I have a more restful sleep. It's very comfortable - initially thought it was too firm but now it feels just right. I can't fault it. Looking forward to a koala pillow! Also love that it is Australian made and that the company supports our Koalas.

These matresses are awful...we had one and wanted to return it after a week due to immediate aches and pains. They made us keep it for at least a month. We persevered and returned it after 3 months as we were both incedibly sore, I could barely bend to pick things up of the floor. Then got a propper sprung mattress and aches were mostly gone the next day. I also think the reviews in their website is phony as they did not post my 1 Star review.. $950 for a piece of foam in a saggy bag...dont buy...

I have only had it a few weeks and it keeps the same shape as when I got in it, Time alone will tell me but so far its magic.

A week after using my new Koala mattress, I realised that I wasn't being woken by hip pain anymore. Amazing!
I haven't noticed any difference in the mattress from night one, it is better than the $3000 mattress I had been sleeping on.
