Has anyone placed their 32L Microwave Oven with Grill or any Microwave Oven in the Kitchen Cabinetry made specifically to take Microwave Ovens? I purchased the 32L Microwave Oven with Grill from Kogan and then I check out the Manual then found out the Oven requires an extreme amount of space above and either side if placed in Cabinetry. I immediately contacted Kogan to cancel the order and even though the item hadn't left their warehouse, I was told it was too late to cancel. It is so difficult to access after sales service and there is a very long delay before responses are received. There should be an on-line chat available but no, this adds to frustration on after sales enquiries or warranty questions. So please, if anyone out there has placed their Oven inside Cabinetry, let me know and if there haven't been any issues then I'll keep my oven.

I think the requirement to leave plenty of room around it would be pretty universal with microwaves since their mod of operation is to heat the water in the food being cooked (yes, almost all food contains water - without it microwaves wouldn't cook) and when you cook water, you produce steam. Microwaves in an enclosed space would just trap this steam and encourage growth of mould and the like.

Yes I placed mine in my cabinet, without any problems. For what it's worth though I had to leave sufficient room in my cabinet around my previous microwave. As the previous comment or said, it's a universal thing. If your cabinet area is too small try installing a shelf under your existing cabinets and use the current one for cook books or something. I've done that in the past too

That all being said I'm pretty sure it's Australian law, that kogan has to let you cancel the order if it hasn't been shipped yet. After its shipped you can still legally change your mind and return it too. I'd be contacting consumer affairs for advice

How long should it take to grill 2 slices of cheesy bread ? Should the top grill light up red ?

Sorry Jane, as I said in my post, I find the unit useless for anything but microwave. The only time I tried the grill I ended up with two slices of carbon.

Has anyone got decent results grilling chops using the grill function on this convection microwave? If so, how? Did you use a combo of convection/grill? Did you use a special grilling plate? If so, what kind and do you know where can I get one? Did you use something to elevate the meat so it is closer to the grilling element? It seems to me the top of the grill rack is too far from the element to grill effectively. I "grilled" some chops for an hour at 100% grill power and all it did was grey the meat. I ended up frying the chops instead.

thanks Jane. I've since had a look at reviews on the Kogan website and reviews for other Kogan Microwave/Convection/Grill and it seems it is a standard complaint.

Has anyone successfully used the live help that comes with the extended care? If so, how do I find it? I purchased this Microwave a few days ago and purchased the extended care with it. As part of the extended care, live chat assistance is supposed to be available from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. I can't find how to access it. I've tried searching the help centre, but no luck. There is a red oblong button in the bottom right corner of the screen that says "Help" but when I type in a query, it just gives the same automated response - returning a list of links to user manuals, but no live person to chat to or ask a question.

You might need to register your extended care with them first, so then when you log in, you will still see the chat button after hours. aka 5pm

Sorry Flutter, I don't buy extended care for any products, so I can't help you there. The Kogan site doesn't appear to have any chat link, so maybe try Bec;s suggestions.

Hi Kogan Team,
I received the 32L model yesterday. The unit makes a loud rattling noise that stops if I place my hand on the side of the unit. The noise is only heard on the microwave function while convection and Grill function runs ok. Is that a defective unit??

Purchased 32L Model. Received 24 Sept '18. Works fine but the turntable does not consistently rotate smoothly. Has a slight, momentary stop then continues. The unit makes an extra noise when this is happening. When the turntable rotates smoothly, the noise stops. Have cleaned the wheels of the turntable ring (which were not dirty in the first place). Hasn't made any difference. Any thoughts?
