Sounds as if it is low on hydraulic fluid. Check the reservoir to see if has the correct level.

When the foot pedal is pushed down, there is a rotary dial to your right, turn this to get the desired height

Yes but what I understand it's a genuine product in Australia. But having said that a non genuine product is available from the states. Just google K5559-36710, be carefull as some belts have similar numbers. If you find an Australian supplier of this belt please reply with your contacts

What makes the blades disengage while mowing??

Hi Todd, not sure what you mean. It mows when the mowing button is depressed and disengages (stops blades spinning) when switch pulled up. You could commute on it when not mowing lawns.

Due to mowing long grass in dirty paddocks with plenty of things that will puncture soft tires, I tried to buy heavier ply tires from my local tire supplier. They told me that they could not source a non genuine, heavier ply tire to fit the Kubota rims. I ended up using a "Goo" in the tires that seems to be working well.

I have a Kubota Z122R mower that runs, then sputters, then dies, start it up and it repeats. I've replaced air filter, fuel filter 2 times, changed oil, and 1 spark plug(just noticed today while trying to fix it, it has 2 spark plugs. Now it runs only when choke is on. My son left me the mower and I don't know where the manual is. I'm not a mechanic and don't know what is going on. Yard's a mess. Please help quickly. Brian Pierce

Brian, I had the same problem with my Z125S, so I can relate to your frustration. It seems that Kubota had an issue with some of the zero-turns whereby the speed/choke line was not adjusted properly and the choke would not be completely open when the speed lever was in the choke position. The solution? adjust the choke/speed cable so that the choke is open when the lever is placed in that position. It should take you about 15-minutes or so, start to finish. Once I did this to mine, it has worked great and I have been able to throw away the starting fluid that I had been using (sometimes successfully) to start my zero-turn!
Good luck!

AJH3. I think you've nailed it. If I was you Brian, I would get a mechanic to do the adjustments if you don't have a manual.
The manual would have told you that it was a twin cylinder motor, etcetera.

Does anyone get a lot of whining noise with the hydraulics? Also, is there a place to check the fluid? On other models there’s a visible place to fill and check fluids for the hydraulics, but not on my z122r

Are the mowing belts hard to put on and do they come off easy on 48" deck?

There is one mowing belt on the deck with goes back to the drive pulley under the motor!
This is spring tensioned on the deck. You have to release that spring tension before changing the belt. Its easy to release, but a bit harder to re-tension.
I put my mower up on car stands to do the job. I back it up!
You have to have a good look at the belt(or take photo of deck and underneath the mower).
There is a guide pulley(in front of the drive pulley) under the engine that has small holder bracket to prevent the belt jumping off the pulley. This has to be remove to replace a belt.
A nut on top of the pulley releases the holder.... note how that holder is positioned, as it has to be replaced in exactly same position to give clearance.
Best way is to install new belt, install holder bracket with bolt a little loose, tension belt at deck then tighten holder bracket on pulley to give clearance.
I have ZG100 54 inch with 200hrs and expect the belt to last at least 500 hrs.
cheers

The answer Stanley has submitted is straight forward, not a hard task just need the tools/patience to do it. In fairness, I did not change Kubota factory belts until the T1870 mower was at least 14 yrs old and the drive motor belt finally gave out. The factory blades are very good too, they lasted for 12 years. Replaced them all with Kubota replacement parts.

Looking at the kubota z122rkw zero turn mowers. Does anybody use the mulching kit? How does it perform as a mulches?

The Kubota mulching brackets work super, but they're very hard to install. It took me over three hours and I'm a pretty good mechanic. They don't work well in heavy grass, but excel in leaf mulching. I would not advise using them in the summer if your grass is over 3" thick. They also did not fit perfect after installation and the blades rubbed while running. I had to grind clearance on the mulching brackets so they didn't rub, another poor engineering design on Kubota's part.
