I have a ZG127E. It won't start by the key. I've replaced the starter relay. Still won't crank. The fuses are all good. I can start it by jumping the relay. Once it's running, the pto will not engage. Any suggestions?

Did you check the wiring end that slides on to the key switch under the fender. Mind came off I could not start and also the safety switch wire on the brake came off. Check both of these if you have not done so.

you may also want to check/swap out the PTO switch as it can also prevent it from starting.

It will start again and start running rough and it wont idle and it`s stops again. I check for the fuel and the pump seams OK, i know cause i disconnected the fuel line before the pump Can some help me to find the cause? thanks

Look I'm no expert on these's things but I would check all safety switches connections to make sure they are properly in and free of dust and grass. I have had the same issue and it's always seems to be that. Also you would be due for a service at 50 hrs. I hope that helps
thanks, i will look into it in weekend and i hope so too.

I have purchased a ZG127E, 54'' Zero turn mower last march 2015. It has just clocked up 50 hours. Within the first 4 hours of mowing, it was throwing the main belt. It has now just broken the main belt for the second time. It has also broken the PTO belt only 7 hours ago. The mower has been back in the shop once for a check over and all was fine, I was told. I have lost count of how many times I have put the belts back on my self. I would love to know if anyone else has had similar probs with this model. Very bloody frustrated.

Hi - I went to pick up my brand new zero turn from Kubota dealer in Melbourne. Ran ok, engaged the mowing deck and it threw the belt straightaway and jammed the belt under one of the pulleys. Stalled the motor. Couldn't start the motor again, even with the mowing button disengaged. Waiting to hear back. I hope it is not a lemon!
OK here is an update: The dealer said the new mechanic left off a spacer when assembling and that is why the belt came off and jammed. Have now used it twice. First impressions are:
* Likes: Cuts really well, even through thick capeweed (which is like mowing through wet lettuce), deck doesn't get clogged with grass, very fast and maneuverable, very tight turning circle, love the pedal 'deck lifter/height adjuster' as it lets me raise the deck when going over garden edging or high bumps in the ground.
* Things that could be better: Petrol gauge is a view through window underneath the seat. Can't see fuel level in full sun and also have to stand in front, facing the machine to see the level. Why couldn't they put a tank gauge on top?? Also, even with seat pushed all the way back, the controls are still slightly behind the line of my shoulders which means I have to twist slightly to release handbrake, turn on, engage throttle etc which is uncomfortable to do.
Overall I am happy with the purchase - it zooms along like a go kart, does a great job and the engine doesn't labour when cutting through thick grass.
