I bought this cream as looked so tempting that it will resolve all my skin issues. But after applying, my eyes started watering, itchy. Was on work, had to go to washroom so many times to wash my face, but not effective. Stopped using. I just applied a little amount not even proper amount. Next time few days I tried it again, avoiding eye area carefully to check may be last time it was something else. But again same thing happened. I still have that cream. Don't know if they will refund or take it back. I bought Night cream as well but thats I found OK in comparative to Day Cream.

I felt like my face was on fire. It was so irritating. I had to wash it off . I tried it days later and had same result. Will be taking it back

I have had the same issue as most on here regarding the "sunburnt" look, after just the first use. I used the Lacura Daily Face SPF 15 anti wrinkle cream in the small tube for ages without an issue.
After not being able to find it any longer at ALDI, I thought to try the Lacura Renew Q10 Day Cream. What a mistake.
My skin has the "sunburnt" look as most on here and I feel like my face and neck are on fire. I'll be taking it back and asking for a refund. They need to bring back the daily face anti wrinkle cream.
The renew is rubbish. Stay away from this product.

On first use my face and neck were red,as if I had been sunburnt.Tried it again days later and same result, will not use it again.I have used this brand before but never had a reaction like this.

It felt quite alrite, smooth and comfortable on the first attempt.
For the first few days, my skin felt very dry. After a week, lots of breakout.
I stopped using the product because my skin got itchy and felt very very uncomfortably dry.
Aldi should have a tester! I bought 1 night cream and 1 day cream. Both of them did not work well.

I applied this face cream under the eye area and over the forehead over the rest of my face as usual. After 15 minutes the effect on my eyes was of a very uncomfortable feeling. My eyes were watering and they were itchy and I had to keep washing the cream off my face.

1hr after applying Lacura day cream my eyes began to sting to the point I could not open my eyes. I had to leave work and even tho I was using eye drops (sustained) my eyes continued to sting and burn for the whole day. I would like to know what ingredients causes this reaction as it has also happened to two other family members. I have thrown both day and night cream in the bin and lost a day I can never get back! Instead of saving money I lost money.

day 1 a small amount of stinging, day 2, I can't open my eyes; I tried antihistamine eye drops and saline on a sterile eye patch, and still I cannot open my eyes for long. I can't drive home today, because they light is killing me. I shop at Aldi all the time, and this is the first product I have had any trouble with.

This product didn't work for me. I ended up with stinging and swelling eyes to the point I couldn't see. Obviously, I have some kind of allergy or sensitivity to this product :(. I brought the product based on it's price.

It's been only a week & I can already see the difference.My dull & dry skin is coming back to life with the use of Lacura day & night creams.I love it!

I have used Aldi Lacura face creams for 2 or 3 years the day cream & night cream. I opened a new jar of day cream (Renew Q10) 2 days ago and today I had a very red & hot face. I have also had very watery runny eyes if the cream has been accidentally been rubbed too close to my eyes with previous jars of cream. I Need to go back to my previous tried & trusted branded creams it seems.

I have never been sensitive to any skin products before until I started using Aldi Lacura Restorative Day Cream (Ca) for Mature Skin, first I thought that it might be my eye makeup that was causing the problem but I am working at home today & did not apply any eye makeup just this face cream & my eyes are burning in my head.
Aldi will have to take this product off the market. I am going to make a complaint to Consumers Rights.

I had the same problem. Thought I had hay fever but when I stopped using the cream the symptons disappeared.
I now use Q10 eye and anti ageing serum. Love it!
I get very oily skin in the summer and am an older woman . The serum is ideal, I don't expect to look years younger I'm just happy I can use something in the summer without feeling like a grease ball.
