The Lenovo Yoga 530 14 inch 2 in 1.
I bought this Yoga 530 in end of year sales at office works in December. I like the Laptop, it is light & easy to use for most things in internet, Youtube, writing, fold as a tablet or fold like a triangle to watch videos. to maintain the laptop. Use storage in setting, see words: Storage senes can, There is a off click to "on" See words, configure storage send or run it now. click on it and go down the screen & see " clean now" click and will clean the SSD drive and will help stop slowing down of the laptop. It is good for work or Uni or Tafe. I like the Yoga 530, 128 SSD, 8 GB RAM, 1080p screen, SD card, 2 USB ports headphone port & item i5 8th Gen. This is the laptop I got and vey happy to have it.

Decent budget laptop with many flaws
I've had my lenovo yoga 530 for about a year that I use mostly for photo editing and design. Whilst a solid overall laptop, the screen is no where near bright enough nor colour accurate. The laptop is slow for its half-decent specs. I even upgraded the ram to 16gb because I wasn't happy with the performance. Adobe products are very cpu intensive and don't run excellent on the yoga, especially exporting photos in Lightroom.
Do not purchase this laptop if you're into professional photography or 3D CAD modeling.

legit buy a mac for adobe applications. There are also several flaws including buggy audio and bluetooth, screen resolution, lenovo vantage is just purely crap, laptop randomly wakes from sleeping even when shut. Sometimes the screen is sideways when i open the laptop so I have to flip the display for it to realise its not in tablet mode. Build quality is okay, lot of plastic but thats what you get for a budget lappy.

So far, so good.
Purchased my Lenovo Yoga 530 on special at Harvey Norman in January 2022 (this year) for Uni. Am happy with it, great screen size & not heavy to cart around. Comes with Windows 10, touch screen (I don't always use this feature). Doesn't lag (@ this stage), resolution is good & sound/volume is not bad. Set up was ok. It Is great to do my assignments/school Work & watch a lot of documentaries & lectures on the Lenovo. Would be great if not only the battery life could last longer than stated by Lenovo & also have the ability to play a cd/disk (On...Read more
ly has USB/HDMI port), but also came with the stylus (for touch screen - that is at Xtra cost). I'm not technically minded & don't know too much about computer's, notebooks & technology but I would recommend the Lenovo YOGA 530 for anyone who is going to school or Uni. I hope that it will last for the 3 years that I need it for.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

The worst laptop i have ever had
Laptop crashed 2nd day. was able to bring it back and it crashed 3 more times before it finally died 2 weeks later and they finally agreed to repair (not replace). The person put the wrong address on the shipping label and it took them 3 weeks to pick up my work laptop.
Once it was returned a week later, the battery is running out so fast I'm losing 20% in in 20 mins doing normal web browsing. I have once again let them know and i have to run more programs and setting for me to report back to them. The things they want me to do i cannot on my ...Read more

You may be able to do better
Seems slow compared with my 5 year old Asus which is no longer operational. Set up did not allow my emails to be received, and it can't connect to any Bluetooth that I have. Even just using the backlight keyboard needed to be googled to find out how to use it. Lenovo's set up came a few days later, telling you that it wouldn't make you have all apps downloaded, but unfortunately there were 38 apps that seemed to be automatically downloading, me not being sure if there was any charge for this turned off the laptop as there did not seem any ot...Read more
her way of stopping it. Poor experience so far. Cortana was there but then not she seemed pretty useless...…..this one has 128SSD, 8GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 3...I was told by the salesman at Harvey Norman to future proof myself by getting this one rather than the 500HDD, 1TB, i3 which was the Lenovo Ideapad - but all are different in the same model, so be careful.Similar opinion?
