Amazing picture, and great features once you work them out.
Had this TV for 8 months now so can give it a fairly decent and honest review. Initially tricky to set up through an AV receiver running components like Xbox and the new Telstra TV, especially if the AVR isn't HDR/dolby vision compatible - took ages to work that one out as you have to configure each individual HDMI port on the tele, or connect the components directly into the TV bypassing video through the AVR. Took a lot of reading the instructions to figure out the best tweaks for picture quality etc but found setting it to HDR turned out the...Read more
best. Vision is amazing and someone even said recently it looked like a 3-D image the picture was so sharp on one of the 'Transformers' movies. The 'talking into the' remote often gives weird results and can't be relied on, but is fun to bung on a few different accents and see what it comes up with! The onboard speakers are quite good and being atmos, really do send the audio around the room - we mainly do sound through the AVR which connects to a decent surround sound system. Now the negatives - the shop said I couldn't put the TV on my roof racks when I bought it so I had to organise a courier, meaning extra cost. The box is big, and can't be laid flat. The tv screen is very thin and seems to flex a bit and you can't touch it anywhere with pressure so you will need help to mount it, especially on a swinging wall bracket. So, fragility is my only negative with the product. Treat it with respect and gentle hands (put mittens on!) and you won't damage her.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Awesome
Picture quality on this tv has never been seen before! It is absolutely astounding. Crystal clear and makes you think you are in the tv! I could not have asked for a better tv. Sound quality is great although id prefer a bit more bass. LG has outdone itself again.

Sometimes Good and Sometimes Great
Before I brought this TV I did a lot of looking; 2 years; before buying this TV. I was replacing it with a Sony CRT 36'' 90kg monster that has the best picture ever and cost me $5500 nearly 20yrs ago. It was an HD 1080i set and still looks amazing. I always searched for a TV that would have the same or better image when watching the News, Sports, or Normal TV. None exist. Bit the bullet and brought this as no other TV made today has a better picture to me then OLED. This TV is Good for normal TV, But Great for BLU RAY, NETFLIX and 4K, this is...Read more
a High End TV, just try to get the lowest price. Also brought a Hisense 75 N7 as a budget buy for second/kids lounge as a compare. My first LCD/LED TV. Great TV for the price/size. BUT...OLED WINS for me and my family. Just buy it and enjoy as you will have it for the next 5 years plus. Only gave it 4 stars as the remote is too small and does not have an info button and button lay out is ideal for a small child...my 4 yrs old loves this remote. I brought an LG full size TV remote. TV guide, remote and on screen lay out are worst then HISENSE. LG need to read this and look at Hisense TVs to get an extra star from me.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

What's QLED? XD Serious...I have STAUNCHLY bought Samsung; but they screwed up. Hi LG!
I'm not going to write down piles of words - the two reasons being no one cares and I can't be bothered - but the LG OLED C7 65" TV is a ripper.
My next door neighbour has the 65" Samsung QLED - and I will grant that it did look impressive! - it just didn't look like an LG OLED. I can write down all the specifications of why that is the case - but no one likes a smart-bottom. The QLED is mutton dressed up like lamb. The OLED LG is the real deal.
BURN IN...? I use this as my main monitor - so it serves as my TV/movie screen as well as my ...Read more
computer monitor - and you are talking 'whack'. I've left it on for hours with the same image on the screen and never had the issues that the old Plasma's used to give you at times (and seriously....were they all that bad anyway?). Again! Stupid people giving reviews based on 'I spent money so I want it to be perfect'. It just isn't going to happen. Do you even know whaat the difference is between an OLED and a QLED...? Feedback is welcome...I am open to learning new ideas and concepts that i don't know already...so that I can make informed decisions in the future... *boomboom...tssccch*Similar opinion? Fantastic TV
This TV is fantastic. I've never seen a better picture. OLED technology is definitely ahead of others. The picture on this OLED TV is amazing...the darks and blacks, the best we've ever seen even with ambient light in the room. Our TV Shows/Movies look awesome. Viewing is good wherever you sit.
We use it with Apple TV and it's great--but then we have a lot of stuff on our computers that we want to access and view. The LG ecosystem it is smart on its own and wouldn't really need a separate system.

Great TV - Shame about the company service when it goes wrong.
First TV we had lasted six weeks before the screen started playing up, then the power supply went as well. LG only offered to replace the screen and power supply. Should have just offered to swap it. There customer service was appalling, you could not contact anyone in LG Australia, overseas call centre and they didn’t care. LG outsource you to a local repair firm, they were ok. LG did did not care about customer service and would not respond to my communication. No wonder the company got fined for this issue. Fortunately we bought it from JB HIFI Brighton and they were great picked it up and replaced it with a new unit which so far has been good.

Great TV - amazing quality and ultra thin
Very impressive picture, excellent features and the best GUI I have seen on a TV. After using this TV it is difficult to watch any non OLED TV again.
The only downside is the LG warranty experience that although I haven’t used for this particular TV, know is not great. Something to take into consideration when comparing with other models.

Stunning image
This TV is ideal for watching sport, movies, television and video games. My whole family uses it, and my son in particular loves it. He tells me that this is the perfect TV for running video games with intense graphics. And to my surprise, when we first bought the TV in January, it was much lighter than any TV I'd ever had before. Would definitely recommend!

Burnt Image on screen
We have the ‘Today’ tv logo image burnt permanently on our OLED65C7T screen. We have done the pixel refresher setting on the tv numerous times, but without any success. I didn’t think this was possible with a tv of this quality, any advice or help to remove the image would be appreciated.

Beautiful TV
The picture quality on this tv is absolutely beautiful I have never seen this quality on any of the TVs I have owned.
The speakers are amazing and you don’t need it up very loud for it to be enough to hear.
The operating system is smooth and easy to use. However the HDMI ports are in behind the TV and it’s hard to reach if the TV is near a wall.

wow! black is BLACK now! Stunning image qualilty
i am hard to please when it comes to tvs and it was quite a saga until i found this tv which satisfied me. first i bought a samsung 4k tv, but it had a dead pixel so it went back to the seller. then i bought a hisense 4k tv but the image quality was not good at all and the menu kept crashing. so i thought: ok, i'll exchange the hisense for one of the best rated tvs at the time: this one. the first thing which stands out are the colors, and the blackness of the black. it's unbelievable. it's really a new level of watching tv. streaming 4k conten...Read more
t via netflix or stan is breathtaking. I still remember watching the animation moana, the first 4k movie i've seen on the tv. i was in disbelief how detailed everything was. the smart apps work just fine, streaming stan and netflix or sbs on demand is no problem, so is youtube. remote has voice-control which is handy too. ports are ok too. speakers are nothing special but i bought a sonos soundbar which is a great addon and was easy to install. overall i'm very happy to have spent the $2700. i've never spent that much on a tv, but this one is worth it. only negative i have to point out, which is unfortunately the case with all smart tvs i've tested is that the picture gets blurry and show strange artefacts in fast-moving scences e.g. action movies. it's a shame that even a $2700 tv is struggling, but all tvs are like that - i haven't found a tv which can handle that. i'm using the "smooth" motion blur feature on this one which is not too bad. hopefully in a few years this issue will be resolved by a new generation of tvs.Similar opinion? Awesome picture quality with some minor drawbacks
I've had this TV since Feb 2018 and overall I'm quite happy with it, good colour contrast, wide colour gamut and when you speak with another OLED tv owner, they'll know what you mean when you say the black is black! Sometimes when it pans to a dark scene for a while, I thought the tv has turned off.
Now the drawbacks:
1. Vertical banding. This is something of a manufacturing defect and I've called LG and sent them pics of it and often times it falls within their acceptable limit but it can be quite annoying when it's a grey-ish. You can tes...Read more

Best TV I have ever had, worth every cent!
Fantastic picture quality, I am so fussy and cannot fault it.
I don't use the TV speakers as I run it through the LG SJ9 sound bar which is also a ripper!
Has enough HDMI ports (4)
Smart TV is awesome so easy to use, the menu and remote could not be better.
Try using one in a showroom and you will be impressed.
I do not know of anything that would make this TV better other than 75" or 85"

The best TV in existence
I had a C7 and recently bought a C8 - you can really tell the difference with the new range's ultra smooth high frame rate tech, but then again I went looking to try and stump it with custom content and it STILL blew me away.
Burn in is a complete non issue from improper use. I have thousands of hours without a single issue. Best TV money can buy by far.

This TV works!
GREAT picture quality and a really practical remote. Everything connects and works except with the soundbar connected, can't use the headphones. Minor issue and could probably find a technical fix if it was really important, bit its not, so we haven't. Our neighbours have gone and bought one after watching ours.

Wonderful OLED TV
I bought the LG TV - OLED55C7T from Ebay-BingLee in Sep 2017. This TV is easy to use and it can connect to the internet through home wifi. There are many features with TV such as TV channel recording with attach the portable hard drive, watch Youtub, watching video through your USB drive, etc.
As for the quality, it is the best TV for me so far. Sometimes, I use it as computer monitor and it shows very excellent and clear image for my computer.
The sound of the TV is also be good enough and thickness of the screen is surprising thin and light!

Good picture and sound
Have had this for about a year, speakers are great on this tv, sound is good especially watching 4K or HD. Picture quality is great and I use my XBOX X on it. Very thin screen and looks nice. The only problem I have is they don’t update software quickly enough to support current apps. Example they don’t have Foxtel at the moment. But I can use my Xbox anyways. Good for gaming.

quality TV!
I love the LG oled, i thinks it's a great tv and idea however i do notice there aren't blurs around moving objects at times and sometimes the moving objects are also seen as not so smooth. The TV has enough hdmi ports and the speakers are great but the operating system and apps sometimes get a bit frustrating so i don't use them much anymore, i prefer to use the apps on my xbox One.

Sick graphics
These new oled TVs are insanely awesome. They are producing some of the most crisp and colorful pictures .. although they are at their best when playing a uhd movie or 4k gaming .. but when you get the most immersive experience of your life it's hard to forget .

A very nice TV (if you want to splash)
A wonderful tv with the most beautiful pictures and so far the best picture quality I've seen.
The default smooth picture (soap opera) effect, however, is a nightmare and every serious cinema viewing public member should turn that off. (It's not easy to find the menu option for this at first). I'm not sure how or why people could like the soap opera effect and becuase it's the default setting, you will be stuck with it unless you switch it off. I was seriosuly thinking of sending it back until I figured it out. The sound is good and much be...Read more
tter than I thought it would be (though I use my home cinema amp for movies anyway). It cost me $4.5k which is serious money for a tv, and very indulgnet no doubt, but hopefully it's something that will last for 9 years without a hickup so it's about $10 / week if you think about it like this. There will be better tvs that will come out over the next 9 years, but it'll be hard to be unhappy with this over the period of time.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good morning
i have a small white spot on the top upper left of the screen. it is there during local tv programs. netflix, foxtel, stan etc. Is this pixel that is not functioning properly? Or has a pixel died?It is not there when the TV is off
1 answer
It sounds like a dead pixel. If you have warranty left contact the place of purchase or if extended warranty contact them to have it checked/replaced/repaired. I wholly advise you to ask for either a store credit to get a different brand of TV. If they won't do that for you tell them you want a replacement. Don't allow them to fix it, doubt they would anyway as a dead pixel means a new screen which is more costly than a TV.
