A very nice TV (if you want to splash)
A wonderful tv with the most beautiful pictures and so far the best picture quality I've seen.
The default smooth picture (soap opera) effect, however, is a nightmare and every serious cinema viewing public member should turn that off. (It's not easy to find the menu option for this at first). I'm not sure how or why people could like the soap opera effect and becuase it's the default setting, you will be stuck with it unless you switch it off. I was seriosuly thinking of sending it back until I figured it out. The sound is good and much be...Read more
tter than I thought it would be (though I use my home cinema amp for movies anyway). It cost me $4.5k which is serious money for a tv, and very indulgnet no doubt, but hopefully it's something that will last for 9 years without a hickup so it's about $10 / week if you think about it like this. There will be better tvs that will come out over the next 9 years, but it'll be hard to be unhappy with this over the period of time.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Best TV
What can you compare this TV with? Cheaper than Samsung but I believe the quality is better. There is no blurry colours and it is just so clear. In regarding to a design, how thin is this TV and even though it is 55inch I can easily carry around. Good job LG!!!

Mind Blowing
We purchased TV in Dec-2017 and an amazing product, the picture quality is just too too good and has a magic remote where its simply click, scroll and select, very convenient and an amazing experience. The sound quality and various settings of HDMI, other connections from Mobile simply superb. Feels like a theatre at home. Having fun watching lots of movies.

Love it
After having Panasonic plasmas for years with there great blacks & whites made it hard to find a great LCD / LED TV. Had a few in only 2 years, even a Panasonic but then we found the LG OLED and I would place it as even better than the plasma for its colour range. A little bit of getting used to but I would recommend it even though the cost is high. Speakers are good but went with a Sonos setup anyway.Plenty of HDMI ports etc. Just not a fan of the "Magic remote" but its only minor.

Best TV I've ever owned
The picture quality of this TV is second to none. It is amazing. 4K HDR is definitely a site to see! The in built speakers are good quality for in built speakers. The TV has many ports such as HDMI. The smart remote and smart tv function is amazing as well as the in built apps.

Fantastic TV - The best of the best!
Purchased this TV back in October and have been a heavy user since then. Outstanding picture quality. You really do get what you pay for and this is no cheap trick. Managed to get it on a 20% off sale and money well spent. The blacks are true deep blacks and the picture quality, particularly with 4k content using Netflix and HDR bluray is outstanding. HDR gaming is unbelievable as well. The myth about screen burn in is just that - a myth, unless you plan on having your tv on a static image for 24 hrs 7 days a week. Even then it has a program that refreshes the pixels when the TV is turned off.

One of the best TVs around, with minor annoyances
Image quality and contrast outmatch almost every other available TV. UI is very good (though complex) and processing is fast. Controller’s air-mouse functionality works well. Netflix works well in 4K if you have fast broadband. Plays 4K HDR videos from a USB storage device perfectly, but with limited subtitle support (text formats only). Wireless features good. Will stream video from a PC with a somewhat annoying media server application but not from a standard network share.
The difference between 4K and 1080P can be subtle on the 55” if n...Read more
ot close to the screen, and it’s hard to be sure of the extent of the difference HDR makes without a side-by-side comparison, but colours look great in any content and detail and colours in Planet Earth 2 and Blue Planet 2’s 4K HDR versions are breathtaking. The most serious flaw is that the screen dims when most of it is covered in white or near-white. With power-saving features disabled it’s less frequent than in plasmas and most OLEDs (including B7 series), and rarely noticeable in normal content, but very noticeable if using it as a PC display. Tweaking OLED panel brightness can apparently solve it entirely at the expense of average brightness. “Soap opera effect” was an issue until I disabled TrueMotion. Panel and bevel are implausibly thin, though lower back section is chunkier. Stand does not swivel.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Picture quality is too good superior than any other LED technology.
Speakers are good, sound quality is fine.
It have all ports like HDMI, USB, Audio/Video ports.
LG WebOS is good and easy to use but it can be made better.
It supports Dolby Atmos playback and Active HDR contrast.

Amazing 4K OLED
This by far is the best TV that I ever had. I bought this TV reading a lots of reviews, but one thing is reading the reviews and another to view and be amazed by the quality, blacks, whites, shades, its just amazing. Its a little bit expensive, but worth every dollar. At this moment I'm trying 4K content and DTS.....is just AMAZING. LG puts the Television to another level with this TV.

You Will Not Get A Better Picture
I spent months researching and deliberating which OLED TV to buy. I was torn between this and the Sony but in the end I was able to get a great price on the C7 and so I went ahead and bought it... I'm so glad I did. The picture is absolutely incredible (not to mention the actual unit itself). Excellent connectivity options as well.

Awesome 4K Oled TV
We finally bought this dream TV on 2017 Boxing Day, we got a good deal from THE GOOD GUYS. The TV itself is very thin, so we were so nervous when we were trying to get it out of the box. The picture quality is so great and we are more stuck to the TV now lol. We watch 4K Netflix on it, it’s definitely worth the money you spend and makes your tv time better than ever!

wonderful tv
The tv has an outstanding performance in our living room. Picture night skies as dark as night skies themselves. Against the infinite, inky darkness of perfect black, colors pop and images come alive. LG OLED pixels are what make it all possible, each turning on and off individually for truly infinite contrast.

Perfect TV for everyone
This TV is perfect for gamer and movie enthusiast with its deep black, colorful HDR and really fast response time in gaming mode which is ideal and nowadays it is a feature that is hard to find. Dolby Vision movies are hard to come by but when you tune in Netflix and select Dolby Vision, you are in for a treat.

Perfect Picture and Perfect Sound
Purchased this TV 1 week ago from Myers and have been loving it ever since. I chose to get the 55in due to price of the 65in (Not worth an extra 3k for 10inches). The TV sounds and looks incredible. My only concern is that the remote lags and is quite slow to navigate - I do believe this might be fixed in software hopefully soon.

Amazing TV
This TV is beautiful. The colours are very vivid, whites are white and blacks are dark. The user interface is a little laggy, but is still easy to use. The TV has all the ports I need to connect my sound system and game consoles. Absolutely love how it comes with the apps for Stan & Netflix.
definitely recommend!

Best TV on the market
One of the best TVs in terms of picture quality available. Not too expensive either considering the quality. God smart features and excellent build quality. The main benefits of OLED are the pure black levels which adds more contrast to the image and better viewing angles which means the TV can be viewed from the side without the image washing out.

Beautiful TV, great interface
Picture quality is amazing. The magic remote and the operating system are super easy to use (even for the non-tech minded. Really enjoy the smart features of the tv too, netflix built in is great. If you use Plex pay a few bucks for the third party application called Xplay. Couldn't be happier with the TV.

Beautiful OLED TV
Crystal clear, easy to use.
After purchasing this TV I have stopped using Apple TV 4K. This tv pack full of features and the remote, act as a mouse, is so easy to use.
The interface to surf website have room for improvement but I don't do much web surfing here.
OLED colour is amazing that it made normal TV look bad.
Netflix 4K look amazing on this TV.

Best Movie experience at home
Picture Quality is unrevealed. Don't be fooled by other manufactures coming up with things like 'QLED'. They do not compare. Do yourself a favour, go and stand in JB HI FI or harvey norman and compare it side by side and you will instantly see the difference. It has netflix and all the other apps built in. I use it to stream Plex and it words like a charm. The remote takes a little to get used to, its like a Wiimote from the Nintendo Wii but it works a charm. Can't comment on the inbuilt speakers as the sounds goes through a soundbar.

Good morning
i have a small white spot on the top upper left of the screen. it is there during local tv programs. netflix, foxtel, stan etc. Is this pixel that is not functioning properly? Or has a pixel died?It is not there when the TV is off
1 answer
It sounds like a dead pixel. If you have warranty left contact the place of purchase or if extended warranty contact them to have it checked/replaced/repaired. I wholly advise you to ask for either a store credit to get a different brand of TV. If they won't do that for you tell them you want a replacement. Don't allow them to fix it, doubt they would anyway as a dead pixel means a new screen which is more costly than a TV.
