Amazing TV for movies and gaming.
I just received this TV and it's gorgeous. Watching 4K videos on the youtube app blew my mind.
I use it mainly for gaming, and I found the gaming HDR mode setting to be way too dim. This is a common report and people are waiting for LG to fix it. I worked around it by setting the screen mode to vivid in HDR, and this cleans up the screen and has deep, rich colours.
It has 4 HDMI ports and optical out which is handy.
The screen is so thin and the ease of use is pretty straightforward. The operating system and apps are easy to use.
I cannot wait for 4K games to come out on the Xbox One X so I can see this beast of a machine in full action!

Sooooo impressed!
So impressed by the quality!!! Such detail, the graphics are incredible! So glad we saved the extra money to upgrade tvs!! We have gone through a few tvs the last few years, some just being faulty, others poor quality. Very impressed with ours now, don't think we will be changing anytime soon! Hah

Cannot fault it - just amazing.
I left home intending to buy a Panasonic as my old television is still terrific, even seven years on, and is now in our spare room. Instead, I came back with the LG OLED instead. Although you can by bigger UHD TVs for the same money, viewing the picture quality side-by-side makes the decision easy. Not only does it show 4K as expected, it even improves the quality of lower resolution programs to a much higher standard. The sound quality is also great, something very hard for manufacturers to get right with thinner and thinner TVs (hence why ret...Read more
ailers up-sell 2.1 soundbars). The controls are intuitive and the WebOS is easy to use once you have played around a bit. Screen sharing connects to Android devices quickly (but you will need to download and app if you own a crApple). The only minor drawback is that this version doesn't handle 3D whereas the previous model did. But that doesn't matter to me, so apart from that, highly recommended. Only wish I had had the money for the 65"!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Amazing Quality
I can't get over how clean the quality is of this TV. I am impressed as my last LG TV was a little fuzzy in clarity despite it being a newer model but with the times LG has definitely stepped up. Easy to operate and use and more than enough ports for the modern needs of plugging in laptops etc.

OMFG I've gone to 4K heaven
I bought this to go with my ps4 pro, F1 2017(game) and Gran Turismo sport. I heard this model was awesome for gaming. There has to be a word better than awesome, I was speechless. It has to be the best experience I have had. I'm enjoying my sim gaming so much more. Well done LG.

Outstanding TV
This TV's screen is awesome. It is good for movie and gaming. The sound system is surprisingly amazing considering how slim the TV is. I love the remote control as well. It is very easy to use. It has USB and HDMI. That's all you need. Most importantly, good graphic.

Perfect TV
I just love our LG OLED55C7T Smart television. The quality of the picture is amazing. There are ample HDMI ports for our needs and the Smart TV function and apps are fantastic. It also has an optical port for my husband to plug his head phones into. There is nothing I don't like about this TV. We bought this to replace an 11 year old Panasonic Plasma TV which was still working beautifully. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone who is looking for a quality picture.

Sad to see my Panasonic Plasma go - but this LG OLED tv takes the Throne of the Seven Kingdoms - GO
Everything is perfect - can't fault it. So happy I purchased this tv after researching numerous OLEDs. I got a great price from Harvey Norman which included a free wine offer. I am seriously in love with my tv! Is that a good or bad thing? No other competitor can match this tv. It will be interesting to see the new Panasonic which also use LG OLED screens.

Best upgrade ever!!
Finally my 8yr old samsung LED has died.... Hours of online research led me to LG OLED and the C7T 55inch was the pick. This model was chosen for Value & features. Purchased from Myer on sale :-)
Set up quick and simple, internet connection easy, online features/channels easy and damn what a picture!!!!!
Seriously, we now just keep saying "just look at that picture". Non HD content from free to air looks normal but as soon as HD or playing a Blu Ray/4K movie or even 720p tv show from a USB it looks sharp & vibrant.
A great investment on to...Read more

Nice and very nice picture
I did a lot of research on LG OLEDs before buying it. Was feeling very hard to go for one of the signature models or C7...decided to go for C7 and sound bar....So far, I am loving the TV features and streaming power. The color quality is so perfect and it starts quickly.

Great technology, great TV!
You definitely pay a premium for cutting edge technology, having a 4K resolution, OLED, etc. Coming from a Plasma, which theoretically has the same infinite contrast ratio, the OLED just looks much cleaner with way faster response time and colours are exceptionally well calibrated. The smart TV features are also fabulous, I used to use Chromecasts on all of my TV's, but the LG has all the features I could want built in. It's also a fabulous looking panel, super slim with a striking metal stand. It has plenty of HDMI inputs and optical, 3.3mm an...Read more
d RCA audio output. My main complaint is that the inbuilt speakers are pretty average, but that goes for most TVs. So is it expensive? Yes, very much so, but LG do as much as they can to justify that premium price.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I am in love!
I was going to update to a 65" LED - after all, size matters, right? Instead, I got sensible for my small space and stayed at 55", but dropped $3.5k on OLED (after A LOT of research).
I don't regret it for a heartbeat, and I was never one for LG before.
Believe the hype about black blacks. Each pixel can turn off or on, so black is black. After a little fiddlign with the stock settings I had this looking incredible - and 4K UHD movies are stunning. Watch Pacific RIm and try not to be stunned.
This OLED is actually great for gaming, wi...Read more
th almost imperceptible lag. My tester - Zen Pinball 2 on PS4 - was completely playable without resorting to game mode. It should be noted that I have turned off most processing in setting up the TV though, so I don't know how it is out of the box. I can't comment on sound as I'm using it through a receiver, but it claims to (somehow) have built-in Atmos (Dolby's upward-firing multichannel sound experience).Similar opinion? Completely satisfied
I had a lot of doubt and took a long time to finally decide on buying a LG TV, after being very honestly briefed by the salesman. After setting up the unit, I am now enjoying very good picture quality and excellent sound. My only regret is that I should have got a larger screen. Highly recommended.

Good morning
i have a small white spot on the top upper left of the screen. it is there during local tv programs. netflix, foxtel, stan etc. Is this pixel that is not functioning properly? Or has a pixel died?It is not there when the TV is off
1 answer
It sounds like a dead pixel. If you have warranty left contact the place of purchase or if extended warranty contact them to have it checked/replaced/repaired. I wholly advise you to ask for either a store credit to get a different brand of TV. If they won't do that for you tell them you want a replacement. Don't allow them to fix it, doubt they would anyway as a dead pixel means a new screen which is more costly than a TV.
