The musical washing machine
The clothes are clean,
The best I have seen
Numerous functions to try
When it turns on it plays a tune
Clothes are washed then it finishes with a tune
Even the clothes when washed look happy and clean
Uses a lot less washing powder that saves you money
Clothes look cleaner less tangled when washed
I have been washing for many many years,
With a. L G washing machine washing is a pleasure
Day to day washing is almost a leisure.

Its Ok
The best thing about the machine is the timer. Set at night hang out in morning. It is too high for short people to reach in to get clothes out. The cycles are way too long. Dark colors have lint marks left on them. Water doesnt always cover clothes when the machine selects levels automatically. I probably would not purchase this machine again.

then had to sponge off. I am 5ft 4 and had to stand of tippy toes to get wash out as machine is too high. The water level was not sufficient so manually had to adjust. The child lock for me is a nuisance and can't get it off simply. The one good feature is the timer. Would not buy again.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
After 10 months the Machine a throw away item.
The LG rep that attended said I should buy a mouse trap and that it would be $230 to fix wiring, no external wiring was touched.
It is a design fault by LG. There is a gap leading to the Electronics board. A very large rodent can easily access the board.
I refuse to spend $790 to fix. As a design fault it could well happen again.
I live on rural acreage. I keep a meticulous home and outbuildings. For one rogue rodent to enter the most important part of the machine.
Is wrong. No warranty cover from Lg and as for Advantage cover sold by ...Read more

Terrific washing machine MACHINE!
The clothes are clean & rinsed perfectly.
Although I have only had this washing machine a couple of months, I haven't felt that any of my clothes are worn-out!
I don't even know the machine is on, as the sound is quiet & I must say I loooove the music advising me the cycle is now complete.
It is so easy to use & with the machine being a top-loader, I don't have to bend to remove the washing from the machine, especially when it's a huge load.
I am able to wash a very large amount of washing & it is so interesting to watch the machine weigh the washing first in order to fill the machine with the correct amount of water.
Using cold water only, keeps my electricity bills down!

LG - Legitimate Garbage
We have had the machine for 2 months now. After 2 or 3 weeks we started to get the OE error. We have made sure the hose is clear, we have checked the filter, we have done the tub clean, we have changed detergents, we are using half the recommended detergent dose thinking this is a suds issue. Nothing. Repair man comes, fills the machine and it empties without error, so he reports no problem found. I suspect a design fault with lint or suds. Don't waste your hard earned on this brand. You will be disappointed.

Good washing machine.
Cleans clothes really well.
Not very loud, filters are easy to remove.
Favourite features is the Fuzzy Logic, automatic program works really well. However, I always set my own water level. It tends to set the water level too low. It is a good washing machine and the price was good.

Disappointed!
Went from centre agitator Fisher and Paykel to this LG. So much lint on everything! Takes minimum 1 and half hours to do load. Auto water level does not work and leaves clothes spinning around in not enough water to wash them. Leaves washing powder undissolved in clothes? I am average height, 168cm, and find it difficult to remove heavier items from machine as I cant reach the bottom! Tangles the clothes terribly unless water level is manually set and spin/rinse cycles are closely watched. A terrible time waster and frustrating.

Never owned a machine that leaves so much lint on clothes
I have had this machine for 8 months and from day one it was leaving lint, have changed the combination of the wash many times, to no avail there is always some lint on the wash. I have owned many machines never have I had one as terrible as this. Only buy this machine if you don't care about lint on your wash.

Never had a machine crush my clothes like this!!!!!
This machine has a heating element obviously as i dont wash with hot water. Im not sure if its the heat or just the machine itself, but even wash and wear clothes i have previously never had to iron, come out so creased and almost impossible to iron out. I had to surrender my samsung on recall, but it was a lot better than this!!!! i have increased water levels, tried different cycles, but nothing has helped much. A real disappointment.

Love this machine
I was very disappointed with my Simpson top loader which I bought in 2014 so sold it & bought an LG three weeks ago. Lovely quiet machine, soft on the clothes & towels & everything comes out clean with NO FLUFF. Love the choice of programs mainly the choice of spin speeds.

Great Washing Machine
I had a top loader Simpson, it was never a very good washing machine and finally the lid rusted and the on/off switch broke. I recently bought the 8.5KG LG top loader from the Good Guys and I am so happy with it
It washes the clothes really well and doesn't leave soap sediment
Lots of different wash options
Water and power efficient
Doesn't tangle
Fantastic LG

Very happy with this machine
I had a Fisher & Paykel bought in around 2000 which died around 3 months ago. I bought this LG from The Good Guys in Narre Warren on their recommendation and haven't looked back.
First, the installation was dead easy. sure, I had to connect the hoses at the machine outlets which could have been better labelled (it wasn't clear if red and blue plastic plugs in the outlets needed to be removed or if they should stay there - remove them) but I didn't need to bother levelling the machine, as its operation takes care of it.

notice like most modern machines there is no central stalk. This makes washing so much easier as you don't have to untangle stuff and reaching into get stuff isn't a problem. The only problem i've experienced is overloading the machine which can leave some stuff unwashed properly. I love this machine. It's quiet, never needs rebalancing and looks great. My only criticisms are that the washes take a long time (typically over an hour) and I like flatter lids because I brew beer / bathe my dogs in the laundry trough next to it and like to put my stuff on the machine. It's a great machine. If you're in the market for one, don't hesitate to buy one.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hi we have the LG WTG8532WH machine, the amount of lint on our washing is ridiculous, this is the worst washing machine we have bought, we have cleaned the inlet filters and the lower drain plug filter, which is being done weekly, we do the tub clean monthly but nothing is working, we are still getting lint on our washing, the washing machine has on it filter free symbol, how do clean this washing machine out and stop the lint covering our washing, not a happy LG customer, maybe consumer affairs can help us as the washing machine isn’t performing correctly, NOT HAPPY LG IN YOUR PRODUCT

Looks like alot of people with this 8.5kg model are reporting a lint problem. I guess it is not scrud (which is caused by soap powder build up with cold washes). Scrud can get on clothes. I always warm wash to prevent scrud. If it is lint then I guess if the machine is not working in this dept. Only way is to wash lint type items together e.g. towels and other items separately. I have had a terrible run with several LG WTG7532W (7.5kg). No lint problem but repeat DE faults on lid caused by either the magnets or hinges. No help at all from LG. call centre.. They do not care about their customers or faulty products at all.
