The best product I have come across, highly recommend
Best brand and products I have come across in my 25yrs of menstrating. When I travel overseas I stockpile as I have not found My favourite Libra products whilst travelling and dont want to get caught having to use far inferior products. I have never had any problems with the tampon not releasing from the applicator and I have used them for a few years now (as soon as they came to Perth) They are perfect for me and I hope they continue making them the way they are.
Purchased in March 2021 at Chemist Warehouse.

Been using them for years
Interesting to read such negative feedback. I’m personally a fan of them and am grateful that you can buy an ‘Australian style’ tampon with an applicator. Tampax tampons are very long and i find that I can’t ever get the placement right. The applicator for libra may be short but I’ve not found it to be a problem. I like that the tampon itself is also short.
As with other users comments you do have to be careful. If you pull too hard on the applicator it will come apart, but you only have to do it once to realize what not to do - no big deal.
I’d be gutted if they stopped selling them.
Purchased in January 2021 at Woolworths.

Horrible, the tampons are stuck in the applicator
I used internal tampons all my youth in Europe and Middle East. This is the worst product I have ever experienced: The tampons are stuck in the applicator and will not stay inside. No click can be heard ( as per their instructions) ! I tried one outside and there’s no click when you align the tubes. Only a woman can understand how dreadful the experience is! Wasted 20 min and 3 tampons. Ended up removing the tampon and placing without the applicator which is also unpleasant. I would not recommend
Purchased in April 2021 at Coles Supermarkets for $5.00.

Worse product ever
Omg these tampons are a disgrace. The applicator is way too short they don't go in properly. I tried 4 times and all stayed in the applicator. I will never waste my money on these again. Must have been designed by a men....

Worst product I have ever used
These tampons are the worst examples of self application that I have ever experienced and they had a GST applied to them. Disgraceful. My only thought is that the trials department was full of men. I have bought tampons in Asia that are far superior to this abomination. Shame. It is difficult enough as a woman to cope with the menstrual cycle and then to put up with this rubbish. Never again Libra. BTW my rating is zero stars. I could not submit with that though.

Worst Tampon Ever
Omg these tampons are a disgrace. The applicator is way too short they don't go in properly. I will never waste my money on these again. Must have been designed by a man with an extra small private part.

Changes i would like to make on my favorite tampon brand.
I really like this product it's my go to product each time. i just wish you could change a few things. - the applicator is too big. i know you are trying to make it small. but slim and long looks way better. check tampax. also the lower part, if you pull too far it easily gets out and the string gets stuck between the top part and the one that pushes then the tampoon goes nowhere. the plastic rap around the tampon is noisy, people can tell you are opening up a tampon in the bathroom. or if you are trying to casualy get it out of your bag. it attracts attention. And i wish you could make the string white not blue or red, coz if you want to check if it's full you can't tell with a red or blue color.

Not a good product
I have been a tampax user since a teenager but they have been hard to get in the supermarket so I tried these libra girls. The first few days were fine, then last night I woke out of a deep sleep after an hour and a half. I was incredibly itchy internally and realised I needed to get the tampon out immediately. When I did it didn't all come out but started to disintegrate as I pulled it. The end had gone fluffy and there were little bits left inside. Luckily the itching and uncomfortable feeling eased overnight but it was very unpleasant. I'm g...Read more
oing back to tampax and have ordered them online. I don't recommend these. Tampax have a much better string, a flush able applicator and never fall apart! Easy insertion Poor removal and some disintegrationSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Quality control!!!
You can find this at major pharmacies like Chemist Warehouse, so it's easily accessible. The smooth plastic applicator is great - in fact the Libra Girl Applicator Regular were my firsts and made the whole process a lot easier. It was easy to get in and get out and did not leak until too full.
However I used a super (the ones that come in a pink box) the other day and only left it for three hours. After three hours it leaked and yet it wasn't even full and therefore was hard to get out!
So if you use this I recommend being vigilant about...Read more
checking for leakage even when it doesn't feel full - and if that's too much of a hassle for you, try another brand. available at most stores, relatively inexpensive, applicator is great better quality control needed, leakageSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Fail
On 2 occasions the tampon failed to come out of the plastic applicator once I had deployed it so when I removed the applicator it all came back out, tampon included! I ended up taking the tampon out of the applicator and inserting as usual the messy way. Big fail in my eyes, I'll go back to tampax!
Failed to perform its task

Would only use as a last resort..
I would not recommend this brand! Having recently moved to aus from the UK, I have only used these tampons for a couple of months. However! Yesterday, a large piece of the tampon broke off whilst inside me, and I did not realise until my body naturally expelled it. I have never had this experience using lots of different brands. I was shocked and quite disgusted at the quality of the product.
Not only is this unhygienic, it is also very dangerous! Toxic shock syndrome is a potentially fatal condition that occurs when tampons are left in for...Read more
too long. This was a big chunk, and with totally normal use of a tampon from an experienced user, I cannot for the life of me imagine how or why it happened except for poor quality control or design of the product. Faulty Product - Tampon broke apart1 comment

Perfect product!
I love these applicator tampons from LibraGirl because not only is it a pain that Australia only has two brands of applicator tampons (Libragirl is one) but one is the best in the whole world! The applicator is simple and easy to use. If the tampons comes out of the applicator you can just put it back in and away you go! The packaging is the best and is quite pretty although somewhat loud. It is very smooth going in and the tip is rounded so there are no sharp bits going "up there". I would recommend this to a lot of people!
I like the design, function and the way it expands.
The packaging could be a little quieter.
