Glad I bought it
My old 7.2v makita was getting very tired so after much deliberation I purchased the Makita DDF484RFE 18V 3.0Ah Li-ion Cordless Brushless Heavy Duty Driver Drill Combo Kit . From the start it felt good in my hands and plenty of grunt but capable of being gentle when I put screws into timber. I have drilled into metal and then quick changed to screw quickly. The time I spend on my odd jobs is less, I do things more quickly with the Makita. uld outlast my previous drill. I was continually recharging batteries before but the new 18v last for ages. I went for the basic drill, never really use a hammer function and have big corded beasts if ever I need to drill concrete. Pretty stoked overall with my purchase.Similar opinion?
