The wife and I were looking for a suitable off road Van for around 8 months. We visited every showroom and every manufacturer around. We had settled on the XT12 to be our home for 18-24 months of Aussie travel. However with the patience and assistance of Nathan at the Townsville Depot, we decided on the Forbes 13+ and are so glad we did. Nathan is super knowledgeable about the products and very objective in his responses, which allowed a to make an informed decision that was best for us. We love the van, and will be spreading the MDC word all over Aus in 2020 and beyond.

Townsville store was easy to find with plenty of parking.
Almost every model of camper and caravan in the MDC range was on display.
Could not be happier with our camper, the great staff at Townsville even charged my batteries and filled my water tank for me.

Very empressed with the quality of the van, has everything we wanted and more.
Looking forward to having many great camping trips.
We would highly recommend MDC to anyone considering to buy an off road van.

tl,dr: Well made, large family camper with tons of bells and whistles.

It started with some delivery problems - these were sorted with the Townsville representative offering above average service to compensate.

I've found it to be very spacious on the inside and wonderfully easy to set up and pack down. It is big and heavy when towing but other companies' dual folds are heavier. It has handy features like canvas storage pockets, a hot water heater and cupboards inside.

MDC take their trailers seriously - problems in previous models and other campers have been corrected and now shipped as stock, using the 'gold standard' manufacturing procedures. The MDC team are active on owners' groups and listen and act on feedback.

Great service on my XT17 HRT from the Townsville guys for almost 3 years now. Nothing is a problem for then and the few minor niggles have been sorted quickly.

Ordered the camper, Service was 11/10. Cant fault the service and cant fault the product. I would recommend going to see the Team at MDC and getting a good deal done.

Fantastic camper built well excellent staff and very helpful salesman went out his way more then once to help awesome after sales service

Great product handles all conditions with ease have done around 30,000 km with no problem.couple of warranty issues all handled promptly by mdc

Any one out there are over mdc backup service and parts I have been phoning about 7 times and they wont get back to you I am after parts for my van.
Watch out if you are thinking about getting a mdc van they will take your money quick but no backup service.

Hi everyone, so far I have found the group very helpful, yes the units are not perfect, hand built items never will be!, I have had homes built with more issues and paid a lot more than $26k!, all that "REALLY" matters is that any and all issues are fixed. Yes, I have had some very minor issues, two were addressed with immediate action, and the others are at hand will be done very soon . So, therefore, my vote is get your self a great bargain, M.D.C are easily the best value, and quality where it "really" matters. Thanks to ALEX at Cairns, and Ian at Melb.

Delivery date pushed back twice, which we could have dealt with if someone contacted us ! had to find that out by calling them myself on the day of the promised date, holidays wasted cause of no camper delivered as promised, emailed Brisbane owner, didn't bother to reply, couldn't care less once been paid, and I haven't even got it yet !
