A sleek, well-designed car, but not the most fuel efficient or the best ride quality
The Mazda 6 reminds one of a sporty, luxe car, but at a fraction of the cost of an actual luxury car. I can't praise the designers of the car enough; it's just so sleek, both on the inside and outside. It is one of the more visually appealing cars on the road, and I often find myself gazing at other Mazda 6's on the road as they pass by, because they really do catch your attention. The seats (heated at the front, may I add) are leather with red stitching, which is what gives it it's sporty vibe, as well as has a hand-stitched leather steering w...Read more
heel. The leather on the steering wheel is actually so smooth that it could be an issue for some people due to the lack of grip, but it isn't really a big deal in reality, and shouldn't be what prevents you from buying this car. The i-stop function is one of the characteristics that sets this car apart from others; when enabled, anytime the driver is at a traffic light or intersection, the car's engine automatically switches off, and restarts within a second whenever the driver wants to move again. This function operates so smoothly in action; it's like the engine hums back to life, and it all happens in just a second. The engine, when it is running, is very quiet, and handling is very smooth and responsive; nothing out of the ordinary there. There is plenty of legroom, the seats can be adjusted via levers which slide the seats up and down, forward and backward, for you. We have had no issues with this car whatsoever, and we drive it twice a day or more every day of the week, which speaks for itself in terms of reliability, and we've had this car since 2013. It isn't the perfect car, however; the ride is not the best. It can be quite bumpy, especially for those in the backseat, and fuel efficiency is nothing to write home about. Especially in the summer when the AC is often turned on, you really have to watch out because the fuel tank will run down fast. Overall, this is an excellent quality car by Mazda, and this is represented in the price; at the end of the day, you pay for what you get.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

A great car
I have a 2013 Mazda 6 Atenza wagon and just updated my wife's car with a 2017 P series Mazda 6 GT sedan. The difference in both comfort and NVH levels is outstanding right down to the double glazing of the side front windows in an effort top reduce noise. A much better car to drive with better comfort. Mazda Connect works well and the overall finish of the vehicle is excellent. Would highly recommend as a premium vehicle.

Best cars i have ever owned
The Mazda 6 is the best car. I had one from 2004 - 2013, never had a single issue - was the same in the 10 years I owned the car. I bought another one new in 2013 and it is also perfect no problem at all. Great drive and value for money

The best for ever
Fantastic car! Purchased from a dealer in 2013 with 69,000km on the clock now at 97,000, In that time serviced it twice at a total cost of $600, extremely practical with rear seats folding flat can fit a timber 180cm long tv unit, or go camping and sleep in the rear, great looks 10 years later, and zero breakdowns. 700+km per tank have had over 900km on a tank on the highway also, also good safety and features even today.

Madza Man
I've owned & driven 4 Mazda cars. First the Mazda 323 Astina then Mazda follow by the Mazda CX 7 and now the new Mazda 6 GT. It's a fantastic car that offers the driving power and great handling performance. I love sporty looking car, the Mazda 6 has it all, yet it still offers you the comfort with it's luxurious and spaces interiors. The fuel consumption is very efficient which helps in minimizing the running costs. Zoom Zoom Zoom.
