Needed four new tyres for rego.

published

The tyres are quality they wear a lot longer than other brands and that's why I keep going back to the same brand. They have great control in wet weather and have never let me down. I have noticed the performance of my car has improved and the cost is never over the top.

good tyre

a very quiet and great riding and the grip is so much better than the Cooper tires (cs4)that were on it prior. They were shocking in the wet.
Very happy with the new ones and would recommend them to other Toyota owners who need brand new tyre a
good choice

Perfect tyres for my car

published

I purchased these tyres three months ago and put on my Toyota Corolla.
I noticed the tyres are very quiet and comfortable. It's almost like driving a higher grade car.
The grip is great on dry and wet.
After three months, about 4000k, I feel the tyres are even more quiet and comfortable.
These tyres are the best tyres I have ever had. Hopefully it will last long..

A smooth ride!

published

Just got these put on my car and I can really notice the difference to the old dodge ones that came with the car! It was hard to find ones that fit my stupid size car tyres but luckily these ones fit. Very happy with my purchase and hope they last a long time.

Cant fault this tiny in any weather and a very comfortable ride

published

My Bridgestone tyres standard on my commodore VE SV6 Sportswagon needed replacing. Did some researching and saw product reviews here on this site. these 245/45r/18 tyres really make the ride quite smoother, corners excellent and are very good in the wet, and a so quiet on highway trips at high speed. Was told by tyre store to not listen to tyre pressure ratings and to over-inflate slightly to 40 instead of 36ps and everything rides just great and so comfortable a ride. Had these since September 2016. I would buy these again if they provide good km wear.

Quietly Happy

published

Recently fitted these tyres on the front of our 2011 Mondeo wagon. They replace Kumho's which lasted 30,000 kms. The Michelins are very quiet and provide a confident and comfy ride. They appear to grip adequately in both wet and dry conditions. I don't drive cars 'to the limit'.
Update: The tyres have now travelled 25,000 kms with the correct inflation pressures and switching wheels between the front and rear of the car. The tyre wear is considerably heavier on the driven front wheels of the Mondeo than the rear.
Average wear is 1mm of tread per 8,300 kms. The tyres have 6mm of working tread depth between 8mm new and 2mm, requiring replacement.. In theory they should last approximately 50,000 kms

Very soft and grippy

published

I have this tyre from Bob Jane as it was recommended by a friend who also used the same tyre for his Toyota Aurion. I have been using this tyre for 2 months now and I can feel the difference, it is softer and can grip on the road when braking. If ever I will change my tyre again, it will be Michelin again. I feel safer on the road with this tyre.

When only the best will do!

Replacing the Japanese Dunlop SP Sports on my 2016 Subaru Liberty 2.5i with 18" Michelin Primacy's was like buying a new car! The Liberty went from a noisy billy cart to a magic carpet limo.
Handling which was always good jumped up a couple of notches and the awful road noise, curtesy of the M4's worn surface, dropped to a dull purr, I'd guess a 3-4db improvement. This was the same result I experienced on my V6 RAV4. The Michelin's not a cheap tyre but they were original fitments on our previous Liberties' and its a shame Fuji/Toyota has decided to go down market with tyres better suited to Japanese motorways rather than Australia's dreadful cart tracks. Buy them today - you'll never regret it.

The Perfect all round tyre!

published

Best tyre I have ever driven on. Quite luxury! Previously we had noisy pirelli's!
Tyres handle amazingly in both wet & dry situations. Michelin offer buy 3 get one free offer which makes the tyres more reasonable to purchase. This is only tyre I would buy for a car unless Michelin improve it, which I am sure they will! Well done Michelin!

Just great tyres

published

I've had 4x 225/65 16" Premacy 3 STs on my VE Omega for a bit over a year now. After 50K of mostly highway they still have > 50% wear left. They are still really quiet, this is a key consideration for me. I have total confidence in them in wet or dry conditions.

I'm a self confessed Michelin bigot, as I don't think Michelin know how to make a bad tyre. My previous VY Berlina had XM-2s and they were superb as well. I got close to 125K from that set so any thoughts that they may have cost $30 each more is well and truly offset by the great mileage.

100% recommended.

very quiet and excellent grip tyres

published

I replaced all 4 tyres at the same time. The are very quiet on the road and gives me the impression of a smooth ride in the car. I like the grip it has in the wet and going over bumps on the road seemed to have less impact with these tyres. I am pleased with them so far.

Excellent Grip in the wet.

published

Recently purchased these tyres for a Subaru XV. The handling of my car has improved greatly. After being caught in a torrential down pour on the Pacific Highway, I was extremely impressed how my car stuck to the road. Not able to see more than a couple of meters due to the deluge of rain, the car did not slip once, even through the S-bends down Mt White the drove like it was a dry road. And driving on dry roads, they stick like glue. Only had these tyres for a month and very impressed so far.

Lives up to expectations

published

I have always found Michelin tyres to be durable, and this version seems to be similar, although I haven't driven far enough yet to be able to judge. Tyres are reasonably quiet and road grip is good. Handling in the wet is also good. No complaints so far. Purchased from Jax. Good service.

Tyres have only done 8,000k so difficult to assess durability etc but i am very pleased with the tyres quietness, tracking is good and even at 38 psi, car rides nicely. With my style of driving hard to comment on handling and braking ability but more than happy so far.
As an update have just done a 3000k trip, best fuel economy i have ever had 7.6 litres a 100 k car Subaru 2.5 Forrester.

Transform Your Ride

published

Only had these tyres on for 3000Klm. The transformation from previous tyres on our 2016 Kia Cerato was amazing. Road noise on most surfaces has all but disappeared and the ride is much softer without loss of grip.
OEM tyres were Nexen then I tried Yokohama Blue Earth 01 before finally fitting the Michelins.

I seem to remember seeing XM2 and Primacy 4 having similar wear ratings stamped to the sidewall, I'd imagine you will get excellent Mileage on the Primacy's based on their reputation

Look at your driver side door. They indicate the tyre psi or at most you ask your tyre specialist
