Excellent Tyre
These are the best non sport tyres i have ever used, grip like the soft sticky tyres i used to run when i was young but wear really well, i just replaced the front tyres on a front wheel drive i30 wagon after 75,000kms (no rotation, on the front the whole time) which i believe is very good, highly recommended.

Good tyres but sacrifices cornering and wet braking for some extra comfort
It has increased wet braking distance over the Pirelli Tyres that they replaced. Side walls were soft and compound cushions micro bumps well. Howeve, do not get these if you wish to improve performance. Grip and braking in dry is good, but wet could be better. Pirelli P1s that were on the car before had better performance but less comfort. Noise levels were similar between the 2 types of tyres. Durability is average. Done 25k kms after fitting on Camry and were roughly 4.5mm left, which effectively were 1/2 worn, as legal limit was 1.5mm.

High quality tyres protect your family
Very durable tyres, great quality, reasonably priced, look good also. They will protect your family in all types of weather. Most great tyre repair and sales centres have them and can fit them quickly and efficiently. They have a great reputation and you really can't go too wrong. I strongly recommend that you have a think about them.

Very impressed.
Having last week purchased my new Primacy 3 ST from Bob Jane T Marts, for my Mazda 6 2011 Sports Luxury.
I spent the weekend on the road last weekend and clocking up over 600 Klm's. on Freeway and Country roads. The car isn't the same, it is like driving a very expensive car, Silk Smooth and No noise.
I could listen to my classical music on its Bose stereo and there was no road noise at all and could hear everything in the music which very important for me.
The car is now super responsive on corners and braking and is now an absolute dream to drive.
Well done Michelin.

Fitted to Mazda 6
Excellent tires, very nice handling and quiet on the roads. Got these on a special from Bob Jane T Mart. Will be interesting to see if we get more than 4 years out of these, the front tires take a hammering on a front wheel drive so will look at rotating the wheels to spread the wear.

Awesome tyre!
Very durable and extremely comfortable. I highly recommend Douglas Tyre Service in Quanbeyan as they stock a huge range. The team there talk to you about what tyres are the best for you and what is suitable for your driving and car.
I think the performance of the tyres out does the other brands by far.

Excellent tires car rides like a dream
Have these on a TH Magna (1999). Previous set was Nexen something or other that came with the stock 16'' rims I bought to switch back to from 18'' aftermarket rims. They were decent enough, but the car definitely rolls better on the 3ST, and the way it absorbs bumps on the road is outstanding. I keep loose change in the ash tray and they usually rattle when going over certain expansion joints on Parks Way in Canberra, but with these tires, they don't make a sound.
Noise wise, they are fairly quiet, but not to the god like standard that some...Read more
of the other reviews led me to believe. Grip levels are great in both wet and dry, and handling didn't suffer despite switching from low profile tires (235/40R18 vs 215/60R16). Travelling on the highway (from Canberra to Melbourne and back) at 110km/h in the rain was not an issue, car felt planted and smooth the whole trip. No issues on the wet backroads in Yarra Valley either. So far they've got close to 10k km on them, and the wear on the fronts vs the backs is not noticeable. Very reasonable price wise. Only thing I don't really like (and this is really nitpicking), is that the design of the sidewall and threads are not that aesthetically pleasing, but I understand that the engineering behind the thread design is what gives it its excellent qualities, so no real complaints to report.Similar opinion? Improved my ride!
I had, due to an incident a few years ago, ended up with a mix of tyres on my car and just changing out whichever tyre became worn.
Finally I cracked and got rid of my mismatched set of Kumhos and replaced them with a set of these.
These tyres are excellent. Low road noise. Handle corners much better and they have great traction without losing the smoothness you want for a comfortable ride.
Longevity remains to be seen but based on the first few weeks I think I'll be buying Michelins from now on unless someone somehow manages to come up with something better.

Amazing quality tyre with low road noise!
Bought these tyres 6 months ago and they are the best tyre i have bought in a long time! They are super quiet on the road and gives me a much smoother ride. I've also noticed that my fuel economy has improved slightly on my holden commodore. Turning corners seem to be much smoother and have a lot more grip in the rain compared to my old bridgestone tyres.
Overall very durable tyre. Well worth the price. I purchased these from Bob jane for $500 with a free wheel alignment.

Very impressed
Had these fitted to my Subaru and have not had any problems with them. No noise comes off them like the other company I used. The price was also reasonable for what they are. Have had them for around 5 months now and there doesn't seem to be any problems with them.

a perfect all round tyre
I had these tyres fitted to my Impreza 50000 km ago. They have about 20 or 30000 km left of good life. They definitely give a more comfortable ride and improve the steering and they are also a very quiet tire I would like to put a set on my 2017 Corolla hatch. The hatch come standard equipment with Bridgestone turanza. I hope that they will be better than the Turanza.

Great quality tyre, let's wait for longevity
I can notice the difference in both the noise level and performance of these tyres when compared to my Yokohamas. The Primacy 3 ST tyres are much quieter and feel much "grippier" on the road, giving cornering a more assured feel. I have not had these tyres fitted for very long (less than a week) and although I can notice and comment on noise/performance, I cannot comment on their durability. My rating is for noise/performance and I will add an edit about durability at a later date.

Done 124,000 km on a set.
Highly recommend. My set of Primacy 3ST (215/50R17) did 124,000 km before I took it off and put on a set of Pilot Sport 4. Good all rounder and very quiet. Worth the money.
Take great care of the tyre and it will last a long time, especially on a Michelin. Remember, tyres are the only thing that separates you and the ground!

Perfect for my car
I just purchased my third set of Michelins, I wouldn't buy any other brand. I am more than happy with them. Went from Sydney to Darwin on the previous set. No trouble ever. They lasted 90,000kls. Give a nice smooth safe ride. Jax at Penrith are always happy to be of service. I now live 300kls from Penrith but still go there for tyres. They are the most important part of the car. I have a Toyota Aurion, 10 years old.

The best Tyres for a Toyota Tarago!
I agonized over which tyres to purchase for our Toyota Tarago. With a kerbside weight of 1.8 Tonnes it is not a light car and it is also not a short car either. With it being used for both interstate trips as well as daily runs for kids extra mural activities we needed something solid with good fuel performance, long wearing, great handling etc. After extensive research (and I mean 3 weeks of extensive research consulting 4 different dealers including independent guys who were not getting any kickback from the manufacturer etc.), I decided to ...Read more
go with the Michelin Primacy ST 3 from Bob Jane T-Marts at Mt. Ommaney. The tyres were noisy for the first couple of thousand Km's (it may have been the different surfaces on the road from Brisbane to Sydney) but have settled down and are now fantastic! Great grip, good fuel economy and almost hitting the 10,000km with them and they still look new. Bob Jane T-Mart in Sumner Park were outstanding! Fantastic price on the tyres and their fitment was professional, quick and friendly ... highly recommend the tyre and the Bob Jane T-Mart Sumner Park.Similar opinion? Good tyres for 2015 Mazda 6
The Mazda suffers from a fair bit of road noise so when it came time to replace the tyres I was after a quieter tyre. Jax recommended these to fit the bill, so I went for them. They are much quieter than the original tyres that came with the car. (KUMHO). They have only been on a month so I can't comment much except to say they track well, are more comfortable than the Kumhos and quieter. So they have achieved what I wanted.

Best tyre you can get.
Tyres are arguably the most important thing you can get for a car. These tyres are amazing and are worth paying a slight premium over than cheap tyres. They not only improve performance but also improve your fuel economy & comfort for passengers. Over time, I believe they will save you money, not to mention that they are safer than the cheaper tyres.

Poor durability
After exhaustive research, I bought 4 tyres two ago & all 4 needed replacing after 30,000kms. Not happy! Sure they were a nice ride, but for the price I expected much longer wear. My previous Kumo tyres lasted 75,000kms & my driving habits have not changed. I note that many favourable reviews here are only after a few months wear.

Are the Primacy tyres as durable as the Energy XM2?

I seem to remember seeing XM2 and Primacy 4 having similar wear ratings stamped to the sidewall, I'd imagine you will get excellent Mileage on the Primacy's based on their reputation
