Love my Miele!
I purchased an older version of this vacuum several years ago and loved it. When it needed replacing I thought I would try a dyson because everyone raved about them. I absolutely hated it compared to the Miele and have just recently needed to replace the vacuum once again and have gone back to the Miele. I find it gives my floors a much better clean than any other vacuum I have used. Highly recommend.

Good vac BUT doesn’t have HEPA filter
I had a Hoover for 10 years and was due a new vac. After research I felt Miele was going to be the best. This version was on sale at Harvey Norman’s but it wasn’t til I was there that I realized this version didn’t have a hepa filter. My 10 year old Hoover had a hepa filter and my family all had bad allergies so I wasn’t sure what to do - the saleswoman gave me fair arguments for both the more expensive hepa one and for the one I came to buy but said she had the cheaper one and it was fine so I went with it in end but I do regret this now.

ou can smell it now when vacuuming - even with a newer bag change that’s only had a couple uses and everyone’s allergies get really bad after I vac. I never had the smell from my hoover but have noticed it when using other people’s vacs. That aside, it is nice and light to roll, maneuvers well, really quiet, and has good suction that is easy to adjust - can barely push when on full, it sucks so well. I have a mixture of floors - carpet, vinyl timber look flooring, timber floorboards and tiles. So In the end, I would recommend the Miele as it is a good machine but just the models that have a hepa filter.

Great
I love Miele in general as it is powerful, the tube is made of stainless steel and always last very long. This one is no different and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great product, with lots of power and one that lasts for a long time.

Great product, durable, sturdy, made in Germany.
Got it on sale for about $330 when there was a promo for 4 free boxes of bags from Miele to justify it in my budget. Cleans great on carpet and wooden floor. Perfect for large home. The wheels slide easily on the carpet. Only ever used it on low or mid suction settings as the high suction setting is too strong. Except for the initial 3 weeks of use, the bags now last a lot longer.

Love It - Best Vacuum Cleaner I Have Had
Love my Miele vacuum cleaner. It is the best Vacuum cleaner I have owned and I have owned a few in my time.
Purchased the vacuum about 18 months ago and I still love it. Suction is great and never fails. It is easy to manoeuvre around the house, the bags last for a long time and it's just a pleasure to use. I was so tired of my other vacuums losing suction after the first six months. I consider this a great investment.
I did lots of research first and from the numerous reviews saying how great the Mieles were, I decided to go ahead and pu...Read more
rchase the Miele SGDAO. It's an all-rounder vacuum cleaner. I use it mainly on a flat carpet, but also on my lounge room rug. In fact, the suction even on the lowest level is so great that it pulls the rug up from the floor, so I have my son hold the ends down while I vacuum it. The most lovely thing is the colour...I know that sounds bland, but I was tired of the standard red vacuum from Volta and co. Mine is a lovely metallic silver. I'd most definitely recommend a Miele...more expensive, but worth the investment.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love this vacuum!
Bought this because I have asthma and dust allergies and wanted a good vacuum. It was really worth it. Carpet is actually clean after a vacuum. Consistent powerful suction so far. I love having a vacuum that you can actually see the job it's doing! It also came with both the turbo and regular head, and attachments that fit in the body of the vac, which is handy.
My husband just loves the cord retraction, because it apparently is somehow better... he likes those sorts of things. It does retract easily and completely, I just wouldn't have mentioned it in a review, if he didn't always mention how great it is!

The best vacuum ive ever had
Its a great vacuum. I bought it from harvey norman in-store. Ive had a dyson before this one & it is 100× better. Comes with 2 hard floor tools & smaller ones for the car. It is a bagged vacuum which is way more convenient and alot cleaner & easier to clean. I would highly recommend this vacuum.

Will always chose a Miele
The performance of a Miele is fantastic, I will always choose their brand first over any other brand..the suction which you can adjust the suction type.what is also great is that it has different levels of volume so that's great too. I vacuum the whole house which has floor boards and the car

Awesome, never disappointed
Bought another of the Best vacuum ever. Hard floor, carpet, furniture, 4 bed home . All listed live inside:- 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 kids, and husband of course! 1 acre of sometimes mud, sometimes dust outside. Not loud, adjustable suction settings for hall runners, very handy.
Last vac. was the same model but have had Electrolux prior to this. Only replaced because hubby accidentally backed over it in the car and gaffer tape finally didn't hold it together, after at least 6.5 years.... although the engine..of vacuum is still running beautifully even after its crushing. Love it!

It is noisy
It is good at cleaning, but a lot noise. I just can just it once a week. And the volume is too big, my house is small, so that I am going to buy a smaller one. But the function of it is not bad and inexpensive. Good luck with it

Excellent Cleaner for house
had always issue fining a trustable vacuum cleaner untill we got this one. Dont go near C2 range. They are piece of plastic and not comparable with C3 range. I like the fact that you can choose the suction level. We always use this vacuume cleaner on the bottom 2 levels and still creates very good suction. It is very easy to move it around with long enough 9m cord. The noise is also reasonable and not too loud. you will need to buy bags and replace them for this unit. The bag unit price is about $3-4 which I belive is not bad as they are quite big and we just change it once per 2-3 months (3bedroom house). And also we do not have to empty the rubish container anymore which was creatin lots of mess and dust everytime you do it.

Does the job
When you live in a house with a few other girls, you will realise that a good vacuum cleaner is dire. Trying to suck up copious amounts of hair with a weak one that you bought from target is a job nobody signed up for. This vacuum is super powerful and has several options to suit every purpose. Just one tip, if you end up sucking something up that doesn't smell too great, empty out the filter straight away. Otherwise you'll end up smelling it everytime you use the vacuum cleaner.

Best vacuum cleaner ever used
What can I say, my wife loves it. Sucks well, got all the tools in one place and easy to maneuver. Better than our Dyson Animal cordless. Bags last a long time and a small price to pay to not have dust everywhere when you empty the vacuum. Buy the C2 - made in China, but same features for $200.

can't be happier
bought this back in November last year and I love it . Its super easy to use and with the disposable bags I don't have to worry about cleaning (have to just chuck the bags when full )hardly used two bags since then so bags have good storage capacity (I live in a 4 bedroom house where all bedrooms are carpeted. you Can manage the speed and I love the fact all heads are stored in the compartment within the vacuum .The suction is superb and love the fact I have two different heads for cleaning floor and carpet so I get better grip .Would recommend it to others as good value for money.

Perfect Vacuum Cleaner!
Excellent vacuum cleaner, very impressed with Miele's line of vacuums. They are well made, sturdy and have great power/suction, easy to maneouvre and includes the plus and minus controls for different surfaces/suction needed. The hoses/poles also have good length for tall people like myself (no stooping), have a carry handle and a slot on the side of machine for placing the hose to store neatly away when not in use.

Versatile easy to use and works amazing
Love this vacuum. It's got great suction, easy to use, changeable heads. Filters are easy enough to change too.
Great on hard floors and carpet. We use the turbo head to give the rugs a real deep clean. I went to buy a Dyson and got talked into a Miele instead and am very happy with it.

Love it!
This vacuum works great on both hardwood flooring and carpet. Bought it almost a year ago and with fortnightly vacuuming, we haven't had to change the dust bag just yet. Very light and easy to maneuver. Would highly recommend it as it is also very easy to store and carry.

Brilliant product
Was choosing between Dyson and Miele and ended up with this model after reading a lot of reviews. I'm pretty happy with my choice, the machine is powerful and easy to drag, not as quiet as people said but the noise is acceptable. We are having carpet so not sure how it works on other surface.

First and best vacuum cleaner so far
I chose the brand because my friend recommended it. My friend has been using it for several years, so his experience confirm its durability. When comparing it with Dy**n vacuum in the store, the suction power was much better than Dy**n. My only concern is the dust bag that needs to be replaced once it's full (last for 6 months for a 2bedrooms unit). The cost of the bag is quite expensive. But the shop assistant made a good point when she's pointing out how messy the bagless vacuum is & how we need to clean it (who wants additional cleaning job,...Read more
right?). Mine works for both carpet and floor tile with just a switch of a button in the head part. It's quite heavy to be carried around, but it comes with 2 small wheels so you can drag it around.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

This is wonderful machine.
We just bought this vaccum cleaner in replacement of Dyson.we had some confusion in our mind that we going backward from such an advance bagless Dyson technology to traditional bag vacuum cleaner.
But i never seen the job well done by Dyson what has done by Miele.
And it is good for both hard and soft floor and does not cost arm and leg.
Also all the attachments are included what you need for everyday use.Unlike Dyson you pay extra for every bits and pieces.
I am very happy with the product...

Went to get bags given hyclean 3Defficiency GN. The bags don’t seem to be the right ones they are different from last time and the dirt does not go in the bag every where but. I think I probably has ruined my miele

What bags do you use

My SGDAO has suddenly lost a significant amount of suction. Change bags on regular basis and just changed filter. Red bag change indicator has always been red by the way - from day one of purchase -

My bag indicator has been red from the start also so I would be interested to know if this is normal. This is the bit down on the body near the hose isn't it where you open the component part for bits and bobs
Sometimes blockages occur in the hose and has nothing to do with the filter.
I just bought a new Miele C3 Cat & Dog Vacuum. I'm reading ALL the instructions prior to use. I want to maintain it properly to avoid damage. Mine says there are two filters that need to be maintained and periodically replaced. Miele also stipulates that their high performance bags must be used to achieve the best benefit. The bags are specifically engineered to have pores which make the system more efficient. When the pores are clogged (vacuuming up flour, for example) it reduces suction and the bag must be changed even though it may not appear totally full. Hope this helps.
